Good app except the text that normally appears underneath the icon has vanished so looks really odd.

Awful! Enough is enough, I'm sick of the nagging when my bluetooth is turned off. For crying out loud, I'm an adult - I don't need bluetooth turned on when I'm sat at home on my own! Deleting the app because of this - so congratulations on the negative impact of your constant nagging. Idiotic!

The huge missing part here, when I've been advised to self-isolate, is your encounter time-of-day. You can just about find the encounter date (which is quite hidden) but not the time, which is critical to understanding how to interpret the encounter. I've been pinged based on a date when I spent most of the day on a beach but went to a bar in the evening. If the encounter was in the bar it's much more significant than if it was on the beach (indoors vs outdoors), so the time is important.

Please implement 'checking-out'. You can go to a beer garden for lunch and, unless you check-in to another venue, you will still be 'checked-in' at 23.59. Also, one QR code for the whole venue? No differentiation between outside and inside? After almost a year of doing nothing, even when transmission rates were much higher than now, the app has suddenly started pinging everybody. Has the bluetooth sensitivity been changed in the last few months?

Happy to have installed it and have been using whenever away from home. Unfortuanetly, as of the last update the facility to Turn On and Off has been removed. I will stop using the App until it is reintroduced. Edit on 03/09/2021: Noticed that the facility to turn the App off has been reintroduced and made it easier by turning off Google tracking service. Changed Rating from * to *****

For the minister to now say the notification to isolate from this app is then up to the individual to choose if they want to isolate or not, and you don't need to, is ridiculous. Either you have the app and you isolate when it says you should, or you don't use the app. There is no details on your contact (length of time, environment - indoor vs outdoor, proximity, etc.) to make an informed decision whether you should isolate or not. Ridiculous and pointless. Deleted.

A notification tells me I may have come into contact with someone and should book PCR test. I follow link to book test with NHS, technical error as I agree booking time at Bristol airport test centre, retry a few times but no luck. I close back to the app, but it now has no mention of me ever having been in close contact with anyone, just says it is active and helping protect me and others. So have I been in contact with someone or was it just a glitch? There are now no links to get PCR test.

Ever since I installed the app there has been an orange notification dot on the app icon. Because of this, I wasn't aware that I had been in contact with someone and should have been self isolating. I didn't notice for several days. The app should only use notifications to alert you that you need to self isolate. It should not do it for any other reason.

App is now out of date as the rules for self-isolating have changed from today 16/08/21. If you have been fully vaccinated and have a negative PCR test, then you can carry on as normal. I was pinged on Wed 11/8, and had a negative PCR test since but am still being told to isolate until Fri 19 Aug 21, I believe this to be wrong and my isolation should end today.

Edited after reply. This app does not give enough information when it tells you to self-isolate. It needs to provide the time and duration of the encounter and how close you were to the person (I'm NOT asking for their identity: it must record those data in order to make its calculation) so that users can make an informed decision. I have been told to isolate for 10 days but wasn't close to anyone for more than a few seconds on the encounter date. Now have little confidence in the app's accuracy
