It's nice to be able to control your temperature using your phone. However, there is no tech support like you get with ecobee. If you have a question you have to call your hvac vendor. If the clerk can not answer your question, they want to send a tech and charge a service charge.

App gives some degree of control over your thermostat while away from home (provided your thermostat is connected to your wifi), but you can't really go by what the app says when the thermostat itself isn't giving a correct reading of the indoor temps. I use the app mainly for changing pre-set to Away after I've left the house if I forgot to do so before leaving, not much else...

Lately does not show the correct temp indoor or out door, i set it to show in celcius but by default jumps back to farenheit . Not reliable at all.

Used to control our Trane heating and AC unit. I especially like the geofence feature that automatically adjusts the temperature when we are away from the house to save money. Web interface allows full visibility and control remotely. Scheduling is easy and fairly intuitive.

Very cool! How did I live without this?🙂 Seriously though, very informative, easy to use and helpful to watch usage and adjust accordingly. Getting a new unit after 14yrs, I guess things have changed just a bit.

This is a great app for controlling my HVAC unit. It lets you change the temperature from your phone and set routine scheduled run times. It also allows you to set a geofence for when you leave the house. It will turn off the AC until you return to your neighborhood.

Doesn't give a damn what you set it to, it will just change it to whatever it decides. I have tried setting it to permanent hold and setting schedules. I have spoken to support. It just doesn't work. I set up a schedule where the only 2 temperatures during the week are 78 during the day and 72 at night, but just watched it change in front of my eyes to 75 for no reason.
