"Network Signal Info" provides detailed information over the currently used network, whether WiFi or cellular connection.

Do you know ? Network Signal Info / Pro are UNIQUE

This type of software is ONLY available on Android smartphones - neither iOS nor Window Phones.

NEW: Added 2 widgets (one for mobile- and one for WiFi-signalstrength)

(If you can't find widgets, please copy the app to phone memory)

I have put special value on the visualization of the WiFi and mobile signal strength. They are normally only divided in weakly, good and excellent. Graphically in the form of mostly "only" three to five bars on the Mobile Radio and three to five "waves" by a WiFi connection.

In my app I differentiate the signal strength in total 14 bars. This will give you a quick visualized and detailed information about how good the signal strength is really.

In addition to the much more sophisticated graphical representation of the signal strength you will see some more interesting information.

In "Mobile Signal":

Network operators, Sim operator, phone type, network type, network strength in dbm and ASU, data state, data activity, country code of the mobile phone, device ID, IP address, roaming state.

In "WiFi signal":

WiFi-Name (SSID), BSSID, MAC address, maximum WiFi speed, IP address, external IP address, net capability, net channel, subnet mask, Gateway IP address, DHCP server address, DNS1 and DNS2 address.

If you like the app, please give me a positive rating in the market.

The Pro version (compared to the free version) has no ads, a NEW cell tower database with more than 22 million entries, a NEW MOBILE SIGNAL TRACKER function that generates a KML file for use with Google Earth, more widgets, a MOBILE SIGNAL LOST SERVICE and much more.

The widget stops functioning when the screen sleeps. Have to launch the app anytime I want to check the signal which defeats its purpose.

  2. K Wilson-avatar

Excellent for when i set up a cellular booster in house. Was able to map out signal strength throughout structure before and after installation and then while fine tuning system.

  3. LJ Nelson-avatar

Great app for continuous meter readings

  5. Roy Sanders-avatar

I have the SIM 1 widget with all the helpful information. Let's a person know that dbm level, colorful strength bar and a nice blue pointer to show the nearest tower. This is perfect if someone is not sure how their cellphone reception is in a particular area. I have the paid version and it is great.

  6. Brian Smart-avatar

What i like the most is the map of how far the cell towers are from my location. The signal level indicator is sensitive enough for me to judge where the signal propagation dead spots are located. Living in isolated locations in the country , this is good to be aware of in case you need to be in a good signal coverage location.

    Dwight Mccartney

So far not impressed. I bought the pro version to see the cell towers but the map doesn't show any. Seems to want me to tell it where they are are. There should be a database but didn't come with it and no way for the app to get one.

  10. Bill Sib-avatar

What happened to the info pages? It now just opens the widget set up page. It works from the play store though.

  11. Jayln Morrison-avatar

The app crashes 95% of the time even the very 1st time i opened it ...but the chance it does open on the the other 5% of the time it seems pretty acurate

  12. Gary Weidell-avatar

I'm using Straight Talk as a cell provider. It is affiliated with Verizon Wireless. The cell tower location that my mobile signal is pinging off of is shown as over 500 miles from my current location. Not even probably correct.

  13. Richard Baldey-avatar

Seems to be a very comprehensive app covering mobile, WiFi signal quality as well as a host of other information. Recommended.

Lots of help in all kinds of situations. Very useful, been using for years with no annoying ads or hiccups.

Network lost beep only works when we move to airplane mode, so not useful much. Beep alert should be configurable according to signal strength. User should be able to set the signal strength as reference, if signal goes below that range then beep alert should sound to inform user that singal is in verge of getting lost. i am now using another app "Signal Strength Warning", where i can configure signal strength for notification sound. i think you must need to include this feature. Thanks

  49. francis tessier-avatar

    francis tessier

Cool app After Buying the of pro version It was great for a while then the change the pro version and its full of ads so I don't like it as much And I do not think it's worth the moneyBecause of those ads

  50. joe abaya-avatar

Great app for network diagnosis. Well maintained with frequent updates that fix minor UI things and to ensure it continues working with the constantly changing Android permission structure. It is always a pleasure to have continued app development on a tool you start to rely on for trouble diagnosis. I have recommend it highly to my peers which says it all.

  51. A Google user-avatar

Nice app but network info does not seem to ever get updated. We've had Tmobile band 71 here for a year now and this app does not show it correctly. We had a new tower put in many .months ago but this thus app does not show it and still shows me connecting to the old tower which hasn't happened in months. This app just isnt reliable.

  52. Michael Barron-avatar

    Great tool for all techs

  53. Andrew Hardy-avatar

I have this app on 2 phones and it's stopped working on both. I've e-mailed the author and sent reports to Google without getting any response. When it did work it was very good. such a pity and I don't expect to see a refund. An update has solved the problem, many thanks.

  54. LLouis Smitho-avatar

Pretty good ap. I use ita lt ehen doing AP installations.

  55. David James-avatar

Widget pointless. Android galaxy s9+ shows no info. Opening app updates widget but is lost shortly after. No response from developer which is a shame as app appears to be OK otherwise. Recently, widget no longer being refreshed automatically? Shame, as if App started manually details are updated but then get "lost" after a while. Fix please

  56. DILIP HALBE-avatar

Overall satisfied. However, use of csv file for paid application is not well understood. In addition a table with date indicating what was signal level and type of signal 4g, 3g, or 2g, or no data or signal absent with period of that signal is equally useful to access quality of network service. Thanks

  57. Dominik B-avatar

Overall the experience with the app is very good yet I've got a complaint about the cell location feature. Since I got a new phone it fails to show cells that it used to work well on my old phone. Currently it shows that the cell (the only one I can see it found) is 1,000,000 meters away!

  58. Steve Gladstone-avatar

    Steve Gladstone

Works great letsme know how good my signal strength is

  59. MWB Gaming-avatar

Worked great on my old phone, but on my new phone (ulefone power 5) only the WiFi meter works, cellular signal always shows as 0 bars and -120dbm (both in the app and the widget) Hopefully you can fix it soon as I can't find a suitable alternative that can provide the same information while also looking good

  60. Jack Wiggins-avatar

I like this app enough to buy the pro version which I normally don't do. The only real problem I have is that it keeps telling me cell towers are in impossible places. I don't think the cell tower map is very accurate. Other than that I'm finding it very useful.

  61. Michael Safronov-avatar

    Michael Safronov

Great app, lots of info, but one big drawback - can't handle dual SIM phones. Shows only the signal of the default SIM. Tried on Huawei and Samsung phones. Developers, please try to fix this, as most of the phones are dual SIM nowadays.

  62. Marty Meyer-avatar

    Works beautifully, as advertised

  63. Robert Nepereny-avatar

    Robert Nepereny

while the app gives you somewhat useful information like the carrier you're connected to and other technical info, it does not show you locations of the 80 million plus towers it (the pro version) claims to have. And for that i requested a refund.

  64. A Google user-avatar

Not giving me correct tower location or not giving any tower location period.on a Samsung Galaxy S8 plus, S9 plus, and Note 8 any carrier says I'm connected to Central England 3000 Mi away tried contacting Dev no reply yet. If the application work correctly it would help me out greatly based on my location

  65. Mark J Foster-avatar

Great app! Shows a huge amount of information for cellular (including maps of you and your tower, distance), WiFi (actual link speed), signal strengths, even system (actual CPU speed). Awesome!

  66. Jim Tigs-avatar

had to leave out 1 star, cant get no signal notification to notify, set up 20+ times but still no audio, aft i hit enable flashes "to make sure notification service is on, its ON everywhere in net. set. app. in phone settings under notifications & in apps settings ?

  71. Anthony C-avatar

Latest update is broke, the Header Names have been cutoff.

  72. Francis Byrne-avatar

No signal strength reported using OnePlus 6. It worked fine on OnePlus 2. I ended up buying another app instead for my new phone (Network Cell Info) which works without issue on my new phone. Shame as I had liked this app.

  73. Michael Shuman-avatar

OK but on the mobile page it does not ID the Tower. Why, for LTE the eNB is not displayed? It has the MNC and MCC. and the LAC but where is the Cell Tower info? I bought the Pro and expected more.

  74. Joshua Boulanger-avatar

    Joshua Boulanger

I've used this app for a very long time and find it invaluable. The home screen widgets give a quick view of current network connectivity.

  75. Anton A-avatar

Garbage app. Download cell tower database option does nothing. Doesn't show T-mobile tower positions . Support looks to be nonexistent. Don't waste your money... OpenSignal app works, this garbage doesn't.

  80. Black Tiger-avatar

I bought this application and asked me to allow it to see my photos and mange my phone calls.. why it's needed.. for starting its work.?? that's means this application needs to spay and collect my personal information????? why you're doing that for your customers..??? This application should give information about the wifi signal.. mange my phone calls and my photos. I advise the others not buy it or trust it.. it's Sooo bad.

  81. Kenny-avatar

Nice format, easy to understand. Be nice to have (@ settings) explanation of terms for us older users. Thanks

  82. James Crabtree-avatar

This is a great app to have because when your signal gets a little week you can cut the signal and it resets itself because stronger, yes I recommend it

  83. Jim Vaccaro-avatar

Helps me prove that google is not stealing $$ by using mobile data when on wifi. Clearly show mobile data is really off. So I now believe the os switch. But the os defaults to extortion mode.

  84. David Wilson-avatar

Latest release only shows signal strength during calls otherwise zero. it was perfect before.

  85. George Birdas-avatar
