This is a good app, my only complaint is that I wish it would add if the train is coming in on the express or local track as their is times, when the train that is local comes in on the express track and the announcement aren't always clear or even made for that matter and adding the track that the train is coming in on will help passengers out alot, in fact it will be a improvement to the service as their would be more precise and clear info made available to the customer or passenger

  2. Drews Tavers-avatar

This is a great app, much better than the MTA app available from MTA themselves, just missing an interactive map like the weekender including the detailed technical map used by it, it would be perfect. UPDATE: what's wrong with the crowd feed system? It doesn't work...

  3. Tina S-avatar

I've been using this app for quite some time and it's been great. Since yesterday the app has not been working. I'm unable to use it. I sent a feedback and no response as of yet. Once it gets fixed I will change my rating.

    Elie Mbys-Davidson

The app works well but i hate how they keep on trying to get me to pay them $2 % for the unlimited version. Itd be one thing if they offered it once or had a good incentive, but I press back and it asks are you sure? I press back again and the google play comes up with my card info ready to hit buy. That's what pisses me off, its ok to ask for money but its not ok to do so with your hand already in my pocket

  18. Ashik Gurung-avatar

One of the best apps out there. Updates very quickly and post delays/service interruptions very quickly. I hope more people use this app and utilize the go function. It gives very accurate location details of trains and busses.

  19. Robert Moore-avatar

It gives me all the information I need to travel on MTA's system.

  20. Anthony Curreri-avatar

    Anthony Curreri

Best app so far for service alerts and subway maps. Very helpful when there are transit problems, which is way too often. They just need to add a security feature so passengers report the car number and train when you see a violence person and get a rapid response. Too many characters riding our subways and the MTA needs to provide better solutions.

  21. A Google user-avatar

This app keeps the user on top of the present travelling conditions, with updates regarding : rail, commuter, subway, bridge & tunnel, scheduling, The perfect companion travel app, alongside the MTA app. I never leave home, work, etc without checking the weather, travel apps. A true timesaver for anyone using public transportation.

  22. Quinn Furrs-avatar

The Bus at most do not show up as the scheduled time is stated. Or bus don't show up at all. This is base on the info the app displays regarding the time the bus will arrive. About 75% of the Bus Operators are helpful Apologizing for the inaccurate info on the app. 25% of the Bus Operators had nothing to say. That did not sit well with me. Very noisy Buses Also Hope this rating is helpful in providing a better product to the Riders of New Jersey Transit Route 159 Fort Lee Thank You and Be Safe

  35. Iran Duarte-avatar

Very useful. Confusing at times but that may be down to the fact that I am not a New Yorker.

  36. G S-avatar

This app sucks. I set alerts for 7:45am and 4:30pm but do not receive the alerts until at least 45 minutes later, after I've completed my commute, or been stuck on a platform or train for the same amount of time.

  55. Mo-avatar

I've been in NYC for 2.5 months working on a project. I had only been here once over 10 years ago and it was a blur on transit I took because I had family navigating. I downloaded all the transit apps I could and somewhat studied them before I got here to be familiar with areas and subways/ was overwhelming the first few weeks....BUT I have to say I have NOT gotten lost once since using my google maps in COMBINATION with THIS APP. This app out of all others I downloaded is the BEST!!

  74. Wendy Parker-avatar

    Very easy to follow!

  75. Kimbirly Mack-avatar

The see a particular subway line and how near it is which sometimes is the only option for info we have when the overheads are not functioning just doesn't give the info I expect or it doesn't in a format similar to what we are used to seeing on a platform overhead. Both information should be similar otherwise it's not helpful as an alternative.

  76. Jen Z-avatar

I don't live around subway I rely on numerous buses scattered around me to the subway.I use apps to show me which bus is better option to take.I like how this app allows me to see multiple options and the time of which all the buses are coming. But sometimes it gives me false timing.Like when the bus is expected to come at 3or2 min, but never show up.When I check with other app. It shows the bus is still half miles away. This has almost caused me late to work a few time.Pls improve real time! TY

  77. DaLoc X-avatar

The information is good, but when something happens like a signal problem, sick passenger, malfunctioning, or police activity. Rerouting information and updates are not available. Especially since the event was 30 minutes or more ago. You will be stuck on the trains behind it.

    Magdalena Mosiej

Excellent app. I get all the times that I need at every station I'm at

  83. Brown Family-avatar

As a tourist,it wasn't easy to use. To be honest, Google maps had clearer less ambiguous directions... But the NYC signage could also be improved, both in the tunnels and on the platforms. There were several occasions we had to double back and hike up to another platform because direction and destinations weren't clear. I'm headed home now, and don't have advice on how to fix it, but the app just didn't work well for me.

  84. guillermo messier-avatar

    guillermo messier

Loving this App. Very easy to use.

  85. ---avatar

Great app 70% of the time. Been using for a year and a half. Problem is most of the time for the trains it is not real time. Even if its 21min I want to KNOW! I still have to look for the screen/kiosk on the platform that will let me know. Also beginning of the bus line is the worst. Again its not real time. So you really have no idea when buses are coming and whether i should just walk or take the train.. or grab some food. Still the best thing out there unless those issues are fixed.

  86. Deirdre Sweeney-avatar

    Deirdre Sweeney

Excellent apps alerts are more accurate than mta

  87. Tyler Lawrence-avatar

Honestly, this app has made it so easy to navigate around without any hassle. I would for sure recommend using it, especially as a clueless tourist like myself.

  88. Aaa Aaa-avatar

When submit suggestions, it ask login and email. That is not good way ask report problem. Otherwise you can't send.

  89. stryke-avatar

App works well, provides all necessary essential information relating to travel. The subway map also needs to be updated, cause of ongoing track improvements, the current map doesn't reflect the changes on the F line. My only issue is when you search for it on Play Store it shows 2 different ver of same app. One with ads & one without, but no matter which one you select it ends up installing the ver with ads. Fix this cause it's misleading.

  90. A Google user-avatar

This APP has changed my commute life... lolol... seriously. NO MORE SURPRISES when I get to the train station. It let's me know when to take an alternate train or route. It alerts you to what trains have Delays, or a Change In Service, or just Planned Work. Planned work is NOT A BAD THING.. the train still moves good. BUT CHANGE IN SERVICE tells you... find another way, Take another train. EASY BREEZY!...I've been telling everyone about it. NO MORE FRUSTRATIONS OR ANXIETY OVER getting to work on time. You set the times you want alerts... AND it tells you before you get to the station. ITS ACCURATE....IT'S REALLY HELPFUL....TRY IT :)

  91. Zumis Tooki-avatar

the App has some good info but not the most important. > I can only see scheduled times within a 2 hour window (I can't plan times for evening trains in the in the morning). > I'm unable to see departure times got trains going specifically to my station (which is sometimes skipped by 'Express' trains). I need to look at arrival times for my station and subtract approximate travel times. > I sent inquires to their customer "support" 5 days ago without the courtesy or professionalism of a response

  92. N. Wren-avatar

I for sure thought this was going to be another hyped up app, that failed on its promised delivery. So far I have been knocked over shock. This app allows me to know if train is skipping station at rush hour. Buses and trains along route, giving me the opportunity o choose an alternate. I wanted a M2 Bus, map told me an M3 was due to arrive in 3 minutes at Central Park North. We made the bus. Trains had a delay, and I was able to quickly find an alternate route to my destination. So far so great

  93. Ian L.-avatar

An extremely useful aid to getting around NY - and based on the constant maintenance of the tracks, trains and stations, I'd say it's a must-have. You'll mostly be using it for the subway map, although the updates on scheduled track downtime and routing (getting from A to B) is equally useful.

  94. E Dending-avatar

great app for navigating NY public transit system. was here for a week and know how to get along. loved the start and end point map! improvements: would be nice to have directions on how to get to transfers in the larger staying ie: go up 2 levels to get to the X Subway look for signs to Brooklyn; and an in transit search. Sometimes i would exit out of the app to check on something or do something else and would go back to the app to find my current plan was no longer there.

  95. Diana Cruz-avatar

it could use some improvement. So far and I'm new to this app, it has provided me with proper directions and time schedule. It could use some either pionying out the direction of time schedule. I also was unsure of the direction of the buses on the time schedule. maybe I just haven't utilized the app as much.

  96. ulan bat-avatar

I cancelled the subscription for this app last year and i am still being charged by the app owner/google play this year. Google customer service machine learning responses are not helpful. This is a ripoff.

  97. Andrea McAdoo-avatar

WONDERFUL APP & I LOVE LOVE LOVE the twitter feed ♡♡♡. I've tried numerous Android OS transit apps over the last 10+ yrs since Androids OS for mobile's inception and this transit app is the most comprehensive, cohesive, time critical, user friendly, interesting & fun to use app I've tested & now trust to utilize daily! Thank you to devs for creating!!! 8+)

    Quick Handy MTA Info

  99. A Google user-avatar

Try it w/o paying if the app meet your needs. there are some feature are helpful and the quality is okay. This app still has more to adjust with some users. Overall it's 4 stars

  100. nick hodges2-avatar

Garbage app. Previously could just input addresses of where you would like to go or conversely just select a particular bus/subway line. Now, app will not run without knowing location. Simply ridiculous! A first year computer science student can program a simple transit application without constantly needing to know a user location - why can't these programmers!
