I don't mind thus keyboard but it could well with options such as dark mode, key colors and background picture and other options for personalization . When I'm using my phone in the dark the key pad is bright which hurts my eyes. I am looking out for a few of these options when the upgrade is released.

my keyboard does not work when creating or replying to text msg unless I go top right & add a smiley first. I have googled this issue & troubleshot all suggestions, but still cannot type in text messages. when I tap in to text, the last message flashes quick, as if I tapped on it... when I didn't. can you please do some kind of update to fix this issue.

common use English words are now gone & banned from being added, as are many many slang, technical & shorthands. it only allows what Samsung thinks is morally correct & politically correct, exactly like their CS help desk restrictions... Doesn't auto capitalize even when it's on. Not at the beginning of the sentence or with I I have to do it. It also lags out to the point it doesn't type then the whole sentence pops up. it auto corrects the stupidest words like us and our to is and hour... like no I meant the words I get if the word didn't exist but it's a word in the English dictionary...

Best stock keyboard on Note 3. It has solid performance. Only problem is that there is no word substitution. There should be a section in settings where i can set my own shortcuts for words. If i type ilu then it should substitute to "I love you". BlackBerry and even apple has this feature. Samsung please add this feature in your next update asap. It will make a lot of corporate customers happy. BlackBerry has the best keyboard in the business. But this comes close second.

Ive tried many keyboards such as swiftkey and touchpal but I keep comming back to this one vause sometimes simplicity is key. I just miss that now it doesnt show the symbols ontop of the normal letters and they should try to mix the swype language recognitions when you have 2 or more languages active. Other than that, this keyboard pleases me. I love my note, and I love samsung hope you guys keep up the good work.

My biggest gripes about the keyboard here are 1: stop making the keyboard resize when searching or using the internet. The space bar becomes ridiculously small and instead of hitting the spave bar all I end up hitting is the . key. And 2: add a personilzed dictionary like the google keyboard where you can set your own shorthand and tell it what to autocorrect to. I prefer the google keyboard buy what I like about this keyboard is the handwriting recognition and that it does have the emojiis

IF YOU UPDATE THIS APP AND DO NOT RESTART YOUR DEVICE, THE HANDWRITING RECOGNITION WILL NOT WORK UNTIL YOU DO! For people reviewing it as not being able to do handwriting recognition, it actually does. I had to read an article that told me to restart and then it started recognizing my handwriting. As a keyboard though, it's just alright, maybe a little cluttered but works fine on my Note 3.

I don't get it, why I don't find, how to backup my dictionary? All other keyboards, that I have (Swype, SlideIt, SwiftKey) have this option, but Samsung don't? I use daily 3 different language, that's why I have many words, that I have to put myself to dictionary and after every factory reset they are gone! Can I backup with Kies, or is there other way to do this? And why there isn't possible, that when I use "!?,'-" etc, window close automatically? And why is so difficult to use emoticons?

Good keyboard, usage of Swiftkey is nice. But need resize of keyboard option (not a different layout) and a dark theme would be a well complemented addition due to the AMOLED screens Also sometimes causes each word in a sentence to capitalize for no reason. Big annoyance, please fix and bring dark theme.

A word like "kesari" which is nowhere near to any English word and u got to auto correct it !!! 2. And I've to move my hand to touch the word to correct it. I would love to switch from swype to this Samsung keyboard because I love having the numbers on the top row, and not having to long press... But this keyboard lacks certain features that even the Google keyboard has, when I use swype and type a word I don't want I hit backspace and it deletes the entire word... This keyboard does not and it does not always show the correct word to replace the wrong word... I hate the automatic space after u type a period. But over all not a bad keyboard just not for me

It used to save my custom words before the update now it completely forgets any custom words right after I type them. Unusable without that for me. Had to switch to swiftkey even though I love the Samsung layout.

Not all the emoji's are visible, plus they're not on the keyboard. Seriously if apple can do it, then I know android has to be beyond that especially for a $700 price tag.

Probably the best keyboard I've used for typing with. So few mistakes, and any that are made and handled by the amazing auto correct. Improvements: - Putting a comma key on the ABC screen - Addition of a custom dictionary to stop unwanted auto correct. In summary, get this keyboard!

It doesn't memorize new words, no matter how hard you try, it just loses all personal vocabulary as soon as you exit any particular application. Tried changing the settings in the predictive words menu, but no effect. My previous Note 2 worked perfectly. It's so annoying, if Samsung doesn't fix it, i am going back to htc. And yes, of course, i tried removing the updates, reinstalling them and restarting the phone, i am not that dumb. Just fix it Samsung please. Thank you.

I want to like this keyboard a lot - I really do, but it's possessed! Why does it insist on changing stuff like "my" to "mt" and other words to completely nonsense words? Or better yet when it thinks it needs to space words apart? "ultimately" is not ultimate it lately so why change it to that? Lastly, a suggestion - how about after selecting something off of the character menu (@!#//×=%l) and hitting the space bar the keyboard returns to the letters? most other keyboards do this automatically.
