I love this app. I have been using just the free version for several years. It is a great aide for mindful nutrition, weight management, and identifying food allergies. The barcode scanner makes tracking foods easy. It tracks nutrients, and pops up alerts if you are getting near or go over your goal limit. I can see if I need more of something like iron, and there is a pie chart showing percentages of protein, fats, and carbohydrates, making it easy to see what needs to be adjusted.

apk The app is helping me lose weight fantastically. However, it has countless super annoying bugs which can be very frustrating if you use it daily (which you have to if you want to do track your macros/caloric intake). Example: most of the time the app cannot connect to the servers, and does not tell you for example how much weight you will have in 5 weeks if you ate everyday like that day (aka the complete diary feature). There are many other bugs. I'll update this once most of bugs are solved.

calorie counter myfitnesspal premium apk I've been using this app on and off since 2013 and it's an amazing free tool to track/monitor the foods you consume. My first time using it I went from 155 lb to 120 lb in just over three months. I've since set a personal goal to never exceed 140 lb again. Everytime I near that cut off weight I'll begin to use the app again diligently to get back down to where I want to be. Bottom line, tracking the foods you eat + exercise = results. This app (if used correctly) can help you achieve your goals!

calorie counter myfitnesspal app Tried to use this app as a way to track my child's nutrition (not as intended), but it doesn't really work for this purpose. First, it makes me choose between gaining .5 lbs & 1 lb a week vs letting me decide for myself. Second, it does not track a wide variety of nutrients. This app does track calories well, it would probably work fine for weight loss. However, the lack of complete nutrient tracking could lead to deficiencies for dieters.

calorie counter myfitnesspal pro apk This used to be a fantastic app. And it still is . . . when it works. I can't log a single meal without it freezing, then crashing completely, then I have to wait a good 10-15 minutes until I can log something else. Until is crashes again!! It takes me a couple of hours to log a days food. It's ridiculous.

calorie counter myfitnesspal app reviews I have been using my fit nasal since 17 November 2017. I have lost lots of weight. It was so easy to just click on Icon and enter the food you were eating. Then sometime in late 2019 either an update to my phones operating system or the MyfitnessPal App took place and I could not find the screen to update my meals. I finally found the three bars on the top right and clicked on Diary. Now I can keep track of my meals on my phone again.

calorie counter myfitnesspal uk The app is nice but you have to fix overusing internet. It used last 2 weeks more than 2 gbyte of my mobile data. Many bugs but stil the best app in their category. Day by day getting worse. This is starting using more memory than facebook apps. Latest update, i ve had enought. The app is becoming the worst. It is overusing resourcing and crash when opening from first seconds. I removed and found an other much better. Does not worth anymore.

calorie counter myfitnesspal apk download I liked this app a lot when I started to track my food calories and it did helped me lose some weight. But the only bug is, when I logged more exercises other than steps, all my burned calories by steps became 0. Do know my exercises are totally different than walking steps, this calories adjustment just removed all my previous efforts on steps. I had to add the steps calories manually but after a few times I gave up. It seemed to be a years' bug and couldn't be fixed.

calorie counter myfitnesspal download Sadly, I've just had to download a new calorie counting app because MyFitnessPal has become unusable. I started using it in January and it was great, used Premium for a while, but for the past month it's been freezing and crashing between every food item logged. I'm a patient and loyal person, but it's become unbearable! Sad.

calorie counter & diet tracker by myfitnesspal app I want to use all the features in the app, but it always say that I must upgrade to premium, when I try to upgrade, nothing appears 😔😔 but it's a really good app, I have lost 13 kilos, it helps me to register each calorie and the app has almost all the food from the supermarket, even those from my country (Colombia) love it

Health First! Nothing about this app says, "Obsess and starve yourself to look better" like many calories counting apps do. The macro breakdown and pre imputed serving sizes teach portion control and balance. I love the barcode scanner to input packaged items and the input-recipe feature. I've gained 5.2% muscle mass and lost 6 lbs using this app. Fantastic!!!!

When it is working its such a good app with by far the best data bank for barcodes etc but lately its not been letting me log in or update quite frequently, saying no Internet connection or can't connect with server (Internet is fine all other apps working). A little frustrating as I pay for premium. Apparently others say this eventually fixes itself and is a problem with the servers?

Wonderful app. It has helped me loose weight for years. I come back to it over and over again when ive gone off track. I come right back, it helps me get on track and the weight come right off. However, it keeps telling me i should go premium. I get it, sure, that's how you make money. But it never tells me how much premium will be each month. Nor is it transparent about how to cancel at anytime!! Make that clear and upfront and i might consider getting premium to learn more about my habits.

  14. Chad Irby-avatar

This app is great for tracking macros! I have found a few issues though. When searching food items, it won't let you change the serving size until you save the item and go back in and change the size. If I am entering a bunch of items at one time for dinner, I basically have to enter the information twice. Also, the OS app is different than the Android app when it comes to pre loaded items. If I enter the same exact food item and serving size on both platforms, I get a different calorie amount.

  15. Cait Roufa-avatar

    Cait Roufa

This app, along with the website, are very buggy. I have a new model phone, but the app often freezes, doesn't sync well with the website, and is not the easiest to navigate. I won't be doing premium if this is what the experience will be like. I like that is has lots of foods and exercises already searchable. I just wish it weren't so buggy.

  16. Hayley Fairgrieve-avatar

    Hayley Fairgrieve

Used this app a few years ago and it was great. Now, the app just repeatedly asks me to upgrade to the premium account. Some days I cant even break the loop. I've just spent 10 minutes stuck in the cycle of saying no over and over again, now I give up. Very would expect some encouragement to upgrade, sure, but to make the free version literally unusable if you dont is wrong.

  17. Paul Terry-avatar

Disappointed. I revisited this app after a few years as it was such a helpful tool when monitoring meal to meal and day to day calories. The difference from then to now is unbelievable. I get it, Under Armour have waded in and want to maximise their return. But adverts, promotions, try this, do this, click here, premium, premium, premium!! I'm sure the bare bones of the app I used to enjoy is still there. Its just buried in a fog of commercials.

  18. Katharina Narosy-avatar

    Katharina Narosy

It's good for counting calories because the food database is huge and it's super easy to add products. It really helped me to keep track of my food and my weight loss. But there could be more sports to choose from and also when I add additional exercises in the app, it always deletes my step counter calorie from the Samsung health app.

  19. steviemcsteve-avatar

Broken. Keeps looping to welcome back screen so is completely unusable. At first i thought it was trying to force you to sign up to premium so i took the free trial to see if it would make a difference (with no intention of paying after). But it still loops to the welcome back screen asking to check the goals are the same and whether you want email updates. Once you answer it goes to the home screen for a split second then straight back to the welcome back screen. Please fix it.

  20. Stevie Britton-avatar

Love the app, think it's genius. However. Absolutely sick of being bombarded with spam trying to force me to become a premium user. I go through this 5-10 times everytime I open the app, it's driving me insane. Surely once I clicked NO it should not pop up again! It's so irritating, will have to stop using if it isn't fixed. Annoying.

  21. Mélodie Videau-avatar

    Mélodie Videau

The app used to be great but I recently re started using it and it's just not working. Every time I launch it it creates a loop of 'start a free premium trial' 'should we send you emails' and 'save your goals' over and over and over again. Try re installing it but it did not help. Update: super quick answer from the dev team which made me change from 1 to 3 stars. Still not working but appreciate they are working on it!

  22. Rose Bromfield-avatar

    Rose Bromfield

The app itself is great. I've been using it solidly for a good few months now and it definitely helps me to track my eating. However, I've noticed recently, following the latest update, the app will load but then randomly crash on me unexpectedly after a minute or two, sometimes after just a few seconds, and never on the same page. If this could be fixed, that would be super helpful as regardless, I still hope I can carry on using it as I have been.

  23. Matthew Jackson-avatar

    Matthew Jackson

I've been using the free version for around a year to track my food macros. I'm able to track and adjust fat, carbs, and protein each day and adjust if required. The app links well with fitness trackers too, to count steps and adjust daily calories based on the amount of exercise you've done during the day. It's easy to add foods, either by scanning the barcode or using the Search bar. Adding your own food and meals is simple too.

  24. Joseph Karle-avatar

    Joseph Karle

I love the app and I've been using it for years. However I'm very disappointed in the newest update. They got rid of the macro percentages and breakdown for each meal (that used to be right next to the name of the meal, like breakfast lunch dinner snack). Also they got rid of the option to click on a nutrient, such as sugar, and see exactly what foods have it from greatest to least. These are just the changes I've noticed from this new update.

  25. Olivia-avatar

Used to be fantastic but now it freezes so frequently that it's barely usable! My guess is that the ever-increasing amount of ads is bloating the app while it tries to load everything. Unfortunately, this means that user experience suffers to the point where the app no longer functions as intended. The app crashes or freezes on me at least 10 times per day. It will also often delete or duplicate items I've just added. Please fix this ASAP!

  26. Kristen Rogers-avatar

    Kristen Rogers

I like the app . My main issue is that it doesn't log me in regularly without issue. I get a lot of error messages (and not from typing in password incorrectly). It will think for a minute and then say error . It's very annoying . Otherwise I've had no issues with the free version of the App and I like how it works with the Run, Walk and Bike Apps

  27. Holly Schultz-avatar

    Holly Schultz

I love this app, mostly because it connects with my Samsung health app and links all the foods so I don't have to do it twice. The only thing that I don't like is that if you find a problem with one of the food items it is really hard to change it or even add a new item (unless I haven't figured out the correct way)

  28. Colin Roberts-avatar

    Colin Roberts

Absolutely awful. Gets worse and worse with every new version. How has this app used 40gb of data since January? How is it so slow that it takes 10 seconds for any tap to do anything? How can it use so much battery (near daily battery usage warnings)? It never used to be this terrible and it's the only app that I've seen that's this bad. The only reason I've stuck with it is the amount of stuff in the database

  29. Ké-avatar

STOP THE "Welcome Back!" POP UPS!!!! I was very much considering upgrading this time, but this ridiculous "Welcome Back" prompt pops up EVERY TIME I open the app....multiple times a day! Apparently this issue has been known for years (message boards) yet no resolve. ((UPDATE)) I contacted the developer through email. After doing so, the app miraculously stopped showing the prompt. I'm glad it's no longer there but it does leave me suspicious as to why it was happening in the first place.

  30. AvengeRosco-avatar

I've been using this since 2012. Lately when you type in something to SEARCH or SCAN it CONSTANTLY LOADS. No results come up. It makes it difficult to track foods that aren't already stored on the my diary. This is the second time within this week that I've uninstalled the app to see if it would work. After logging in all that loading the same issues arise. I've been disappointed by this app lately.

  31. Tamsin Joyce-avatar

    Tamsin Joyce

I have loved this app for years. But now, I don't know what has happened, opening the app is slow, trying to input food is so difficult that it's even causing my phone to freeze and its adding 20,000 times the amount that I'm inputting or it's not even adding it to my calories! What has happened? Think you need to look into this problem as I don't think I'm the only one experiencing this. In the mean time does anyone know of another decent calorie counting app that won't do this to my phone?

  32. Andra Giulia-avatar

    Andra Giulia

I have been using this app for the past 5 years and I loved it. I had premium and free. After the last update the free option is absolutely horrible. It keeps forcing you to go premium and it's really annoying. Not able to log any food, as it keeps going to the premium page option. Will look for a different app to log macros. Such a shame as it was a really good app.

  33. Olivia DaCosta-avatar

    Olivia DaCosta

Fix the app!! Used to love this app and would regularly use it to log meals. Now, all it does it ask me if I want to upgrade to premium. I understand they need to make money but I'm willing to withstand some ads for the sake of it being free, certainly not paying 19.99 a month for extra features that are not worth it. The app is virtually unusable now with what I can only assume is a bug. Needs fixing and maybe I'll come back to it, otherwise, for now I'm deleting it and looking at other apps.

  34. currrious cat-avatar

I used to like this program. Since I started using it again about a week ago, it has annoyingly asked me every time I open the app, about 30 seconds into using it if I want to upgrade to the Premium version. GUESS WHAT. AFTER ASKING ME 50 TIMES, I STILL DON'T. What is worse: Every time the app asks me, it deletes whatever I have been inputting before. Last night, the Premium add popped up randomly while I was almost done inputting an elaborate recipe. If that doesn't stop, I'll delete the app.

  35. Kayla Bodyk-avatar

    Kayla Bodyk

Every time I open the app or asks to set my goal, make sure it's still the same and then want me to sign up for emails, no matter how many times I decline. This happens multiple times when the app is open as well. If I decline once it shouldn't come back up, same with my goal, if I wanted to change my goal I will. Hopefully this app gets fixed to how it was before.

This is a great app to track calories/nutrients and exercise. I've recently used it to help with a keto challenge and I lost 14lbs. I would not have been able to make this progress without the help of myfitnesspal. Adding food is a bit tricky as there are so many variations. I was specifically measuring potassium content and some of the foods which have potassium were not listed as such, so there was a bit of searching for something I could add.

  37. Amanda Judd-avatar

    Amanda Judd

This app has entirely stopped functioning because of some glitch that just constantly forces you to consider the premium version. There's no way to back track out of it and it always sends you to the main menu when you decline it. So you have to start again, just to likely along the way have it prompt you to get the premium. Please release an update! The app simply does not work anymore!

  38. Reuben Fraser-avatar

Once I paid the membership fee, the app has been excellent: that is, from the point of view of someone like myself, who is willing to be philosophical; because in an ideal world, using the Rewards Card system, such as exists in Australia, or the equivalent elsewhere, we should be enabled to not only access information about our diet, but also for that information to be automatically organised via software/technology into graphs & so forth; but we don't live in such an ideal world.

I has this app a few years ago and loved it. I lost weight before my wedding; I was eating well and exercising more. Years later I'm trying to come back to the app, but it is now not as user friendly as it was. Even worse, it prompts me to go "premium" every single time I open it which takes you through updating your goals as well. Its beyond frustrating. I may would have considered the premium offer but $20/month its rather expensive in my opinion. It also has drained my battery on my phone.

  40. Rahela Ljuban-avatar

Very useful app for tracking your calories count. It actually helps me stay motivated to lose weight and eat healthier. Using the barcode scanner in the app makes all of that much easier, and it even supports products from many different countries. The only negative thing I can think of is that no matter how many times I tried, the app won't sync with my Samsung Health app that I use to count my steps, I googled various solutions but none helped; this is the reason I rate this app 4 stars.

  41. Meta Morphosis-avatar

    Meta Morphosis

I am truly impressed with the database for calorie log. They seem to have almost every food on the planet in some form or another. Sometimes the app freezes and I have to exit also the premium screen pops up everytime you open the app. I have been using the app for abt 7 days now and I hope it doesn't get more aggressive as the days progress. The price of the premium could also be more attractive. All in all, I am happy I found this app, it has been more helpful that not helpful. Thank you.

  42. Ross Muteham-avatar

I really like this app for monitoring my calorie intake and my exercise, but I need to take off two stars because after the latest update I can barely use it. Every time I try to record anything it cuts to a screen asking me if I'd like to go premium. I say no and have to go through another couple of screens to get back to the screen I want and it's lost what I was adding. This happens multiple times in a row, so I just end up leaving it.

  43. Aletha-avatar

I really want to like this app, but it is 80% ads. I understand free apps have to have some advertising, but when i have to wade through ads just to find the app features, it is too much. I am deleting and will try something else Edit: so after spending the day trying many other apps i reinstalled this one. While the interface is not as user friendly as others and its full of ads, its got the most comprehensive list of food items. Many other apps i couldn't find the food item I wanted.

I've been using this app on and off for a years. When I use it, definitely keeps me on track with my calorie intake. Just started using it again this past week and love the updated scan barcode for your food. Much easier to scan than looking up which food and brand. With the scan I love that it has all the nutritional information, keeping me more on track not only with calories but that I'm staying in my range of how much fat, carbs, sodium etc to stay under so that way I can reach my goal.

Potentially good app but in a mess at the moment. Every time I open it I have to say no I don't want premium, yes save my goals and then no I don't want emails. I have to do this five or six times for each before I can even get into the app which is most frustrating. And even once you are in it you could be half way through logging food and the go premium will pop up again. It really isn't acceptable and if not sorted soon I will be deleting for a less in your face, invasive app

Used this off and on for a while. For tracking nutrition and calories, this is the best bang for your buck there is. A few advertisements for a quality tracking program is a pretty good deal. You still have to take some of the nutrition information with a grain of salt since most of them are crowd-sourced, but I'm just trying to estimate to begin with to better inform nutrition choices, so getting down to the exact calorie isn't vital. I like it!

Have been able to lose about 100 pounds using my fitnesspal but regained all. Years later, I am now starting over again. To my surprise the app is doing everything it can to shame me into buying premium. It's not as if they don't already squeeze money out of our data.... *sigh*

Used this app preciously and it really helped me reach my weight loss goal. However, I have re-downloaded it and it is currently very glitchy. Once loaded, it opens the upgrade to premium option. Once this has been closed, you review your current goal and save changes. It then takes you to a subscription page before reloading the premium page without an option to close. Once this is fixed it will be a great app once again!

I have used MFP (free) in the past and really enjoyed how easy it was. However I've recently reinstalled the app, and now it just keeps redirecting me to the welcome screen ("confirm your goals"), then offers email subscription, and then for me to upgrade to premium. This cycle continues 5+ times in immediate succession, before I've even started logging any food! Hoping the developers can fix this bug, or I'll have to move to another app.

I've really enjoyed using this app on and off when I needed a boost but after trying to use it for the last day I've been so frustrated that it keeps going back to the welcome page and offering me to go pro. I dont even have enough time to put in a food item. It also looks from the ratings that this is occurring to multiple people but the only response is copy and paste email for them to fix. Very disappointed.

I'm using the premium version, and I have not found a way to record steps in this app. The app is "unable to connect to server to synchronize" for you to choose a step app, and you can't add steps manually. (Although the feature did work for one day before the bug, but I had to uninstall and reinstall the app etc to make it work.) So hmm.. the barcodes are handy but without steps the app can't draw an estimate of calorie consumption

I took advantage of the free 30 day trial of premium membership, and of all the features, I liked monitoring calories/macros/micros of each ingredient the most, along with the ability to log meals/save favorites as well. I gave 4 stars because the cost of a premium membership ($20/mo) is a little expensive for me. If there were a discounted 6 or 12 month option, I would reconsider staying premium. I've lost 13lbs so far, and I'm really hoping that the free version continues getting the job done!

Amazing and supportive for easy food tracking. This app helps you stay on track for nutritional and weight loss goals. I can check out foods before I eat them so that I can decipher whether or not a food or meal is worth eating. Also if I really want to eat something how much I will have to workout to burn it off. This app works in unison with my gym's personal training app so that I don't have to double log everything. I will continue to use it as apart of my daily life routine.

Good but needs improvement. I liked this appt better when I used it years ago. It keeps glitching when I scan food items and try to add them to my diary for the day. It says the item is added but it's not. The main reason I use this app is to help me count my calorie intake. So be ause of this glitch, it makes the appt pretty useless to me. Also wish they had more options for imputing recipes. You can't customize the portion size properly.

The app in itself is great and helpful in tracking nutrition. I've definitely benefited from it. I have to take star away because it prompts me to upgrade to the premium plan every time I want to record a new meal, which is extremely annoying. I understand that the makers of the app want more users to go for the premium version, but please be cool.

The app itself is good, however everytime I open the app (which is minimum 3 times a day) I get the "upgrade to pro" request, set goals page and enable notifications page. That would be acceptable if it would be once everytime I open the app, however it happens anywhere between 5 and 15 times before I can even get to the main page! That means I have to skip anywhere between 15 repeated pages to 45! Ridiculous and does not seem like an honest mistake, rather forcing users to pay for it.

I love this app. I can enter the ingredients and serving size for a family recipe and it will calculate the calories. I also like that this app synchs with my Garmin Connect app. That allows me to keep track of my daily net calories (intake - calories burned). It helps me keep better track of my diet and hold myself accountable as I try to lose weight.

This app is great for keeping track of calories and exercise. However, the overall user experience is not good in regards to the social support aspect. It seems that the people in charge of the app could care less about the users experience. You won't get regular notifications for sure. Messaging is spotty. The app also differs wildly from the desktop experience. Don't even bother with paying for the premium service. The difference is the premium service will feed you the same number of ads.

I have had this app for years and I love it. However, with the latest update, everytime I open the app it asks me to confirm my goals. Please fix this issue.

Not working anymore, keeps pushing for Premium. Wont let log any foods or progress. I've been using this app for years but now have to find an alternative that can actually be used. I wont pay for premium, but looks like that's the only way to use this app. Very disappointed. Update: problem seems to have been fixed which is much appreciated. I've had this app for about 8 years, I'm glad I can keep using it when needed. Rating amended.

Similar to another recent review on here, the app keeps taking me to a page asking me to sign up to premium, and will not let me click off the page as it just keeps popping up. I do not want premium as I would not use the extra features that come with it. The standard features are good, but I cannot use them currently due to the above problem. Will have to delete the app if this continues.

I used to love the free version of this app and used it a lot a few years ago. I've recently reinstalled it and am now getting stuck in a loop with the Premium offer. When I exit the offer it asks me to reset my goals, and when I reset my goals it takes me back to the offer. This cycle then repeats. It takes 3 or 4 tries to get past the offer and add my foods, which is making using the app really frustrating. I understand the need for ads, but going to have to look for an alternative.

Unable to NOT do the premium trial - I've used this app on my iPhone for a few years. I've switched to android, and have newly downloaded the app and signed in. I'm not able to access the app at all - the 'try premium' screen has no way around it, so I can't access the free elements of the app at all. Uninstalling now, which is really disappointing as I've enjoyed this app for a long time, but I refuse to be pushed into putting my credit card details in.

The app is great but every time I open it I have to refuse going premium, setting my goals, and refuse the emails 15 times (I am not exaggerating with that number). I tried force stopping the app, clearing the cache and the data but nothing. It takes me 3 minutes to start using the app each and every time. Later edit: thank you for responding so quickly. I will give this app the 5 stars it deserves once this bug is fixed

Cost too much money for what you are getting, should have personal coaching on the app but instead it's basically logging your meals...I can do that with weight watchers and have a personal coach and a community to talk to. The old app provides more then this new app. You can't really do anything without paying for premium. I would not recommend this to anyone

I've been using this App for about a year then it stopped opening. I uninstall and downloaded it again, its shocking. It takes ages to load. Then now all its doing is keep looping back to the upgrade screen, you click on go back manage to get to the diary screen to be taken right back to the upgrade screen. What have you done to this great app. Why change what worked really well.

I don't know what happened but now the app gets stuck in an endless loop of asking me to "go premium" to the point where I can't access any of the features anymore. Disappointed, as this app used to be useful but now it's simply another paywall trap. Update: I cleared my app cache and force stopped and restarted the app, and that solved the problem. Thanks for attending to my review however :)

I used to LOVE this app, I had a premium subscription for years and it was accidentally canceled due to having to replace my card that was stolen. By the time I went to restore the subscription it was wanting to charge me $19.99 when it used to be $12 a month. As much as I like this app I am not willing to pay $20+ for a monthly subscription just to be able to track my macros..

Free version is a useful app for tracking food. I cant speak to the paid version, but I imagine its helpful as well. My one gripe thus far is that they bombard you with ads to try the paid version. For a while I'd have to opt out every time I tried to add food to my diary. Unbelievably annoying, and in no way convinced me that I should upgrade.

Because of this app, I have lost plenty of weight, I started using this app in January 2020 and I have lost 8.5kg since, it's LIFE CHANGING!!! It helped me keep track of how much I'm eating and especially with calories and macro. I never bought any purchases/premiums because all I needed was keeping track of my calories and having a record of that food I eat. And I also add in my own recipes knowing how much calories per serving it is, that I eat most of the times.

Edit: tried using the app again and Go Premium pops up every time I log in, then it makes me set my weight goal. EVERY SINGLE TIME. This app is now almost unusable. So disappointing. It's incredibly slow. It took me 10 minutes to enter 2 items. I gave up before the third item and I'm going to just find a different app. I went to this app first after using it off and on for a couple years but it's gotten substantially worse. Edit to respond: No thanks, not worth the extra effort to make your app work. I just deleted it and moved on to a competitor and it's been better.

I've had this app for years and used to love it. Now it barely functions because it's so bloated with ads for premium subscription. Bar code searches crash and the app constantly freezes to the point it's unusable. Use to be good before, when it was free! I don't need all the extra stuff and even though it says it's free, I got so annoyed by the Premium popup, that I just uninstall it straight away! MyFitnessPal has been my go-to calorie and macro tracking app for a long time. While a lot of apps require you to pay money to be able to see the full nutritional value of what you're eating, MyFitnessPal shows you everything you need to know for free. It also has tons of workout routines if you're stuck in a rut and want to try something new! Definitely recommend this app if you want to stay on top of what you're consuming in a day.

**Edit: the team has fixed the issue. It is the best tracking app out there, so back to 5 stars for me * (Not sure what happened recently but the app won't stop asking me to start the 30-day premium trial and to update my goals. This changes my (custom) target calories every time I start the app. The app asks up to 5-6 times in a row which makes it absolutely annoying and therefore impossible to use the app to track foods. Please fix this, the app was always such a great app before recently !)

App has tons of bugs. Bar codes scanner will capture a picture without stabilizing, so it reads a blurry code incorrectly. Also takes forever to load after scan, I spent 20 mins entering one recipe. Then the recipe gave me an error message when I tried to add to my diary right after and when I saved and backed out, the recipe wasn't there. After 4 more attempts to enter one recipe, it never saved. I thought it would be fixed after an update, but two weeks later and it's still happening.

I love this app. It works great with the fitbit app however I'm using another app for exercises also, and their exercise names along with the exercises often do not carry over between apps. Excellent app, appreciate that it gives the option to Gain or Maintain weight instead of just being a "weight loss" app. I previously used it to get down to the appropriate weight for MEPS (although I ended up not following through for political reasons). Also enjoy the fact that vigorous cleaning and archery are listed as exercise options! The recipe creation ability is helpful too, since about 90% of what I eat is homemade.

A lot of stuff in this, could be better, especially since I paid for the 'Premium' version. It works, but I'd like more menu help.

Given it's free, this is a really good app. I considered paying for the pro version, as it offers lots more useful features. The price of this is very hard to find and when you do, it becomes clear why. It's just too much money for me I'm afraid. The free version is working well and the ads aren't intrusive, so I'll stick with it. I really like the barcode scanner function.

Well, it's "free", but the only choice it offers currently is to upgrade to premium. Really, that's it. That's literally the only option when you open this. The only button you can press is the "get premium" button. You can't close that window, the only option is to return to the previous page. From that page, the "get premium" window will arrive and block any other feature. Is it free? ...yes. Can it be used in its free state? No. When they fix this I'll happily update the review..

    It would helpful if they had more settings and info where you didn't have to up grade to premium. Have found it very good to maintain weight loss and keeping diary of food intake.     Makes tracking calories easy. I also like that it calculates your intake for you based on your goals and you can also track your progress.     great for tracking calories, easy to scan bar codes on labels; produce is fairly easy, although I wish there were quantities by weight, not just volume; I can add my own foods and my own recipes, which is a great feature - recipe import us limited to just a few sites; flexible to allow customized meal schedule, i.e., not just three plus snacks; adds calories back in for runs, but not for strength training - won't even let me add manually;

The key is staying consistent and staying as close as possible to caloric deficit as possible. I also managed to fit in healthy ice cream healthy pizza and still see results. Love this app. I'm amazed at how well it has worked. Once you start keeping track of what you eat you start deciding to eat less of the bad stuff and more of the health stuff you like. It's working for me and super easy to use. It creates a plan for you to lose weight and also links to MapMyRun so if you use that for exercise it will add calories to how much you can eat that day. It's a great weight loss app.

Been using this app since 2012 and the latest updates are enough to make me want to permanently delete my account/app. Glitches that make the app freeze, random loud ads that start playing but I can't even see where the ad is, and as others have mentioned, confusing design changes that didn't fix any existing problem. Who the hell ruined a perfectly good app??
