They have really made this app terrible. It used to be so easy to use. Now there are so many pop up screens, promotions, nag screens, etc that it's easy too difficult to do the thing you want to do. Also, all of this makes the app run terribly. Presses take a full second to register most of the time and so does minimizing the app. It used to be a great tool for calorie teaching but now I'm going to find something that isn't so difficult to use.

apk Great app but the syncing with samsung health step count is a really great feature and kind of key to the whole operation, and this problem has been happening on and off for users for at least a year, there's a forum post about it from August 2019. For me it is now not working. The fact that this doesn't work throws a wrench in the app quality and makes it far less usable. That being said, once it works it's a really wonderful app that's great for weight loss.

calorie counter myfitnesspal premium apk I love this app! I seldom give anything above 3 stars, but this app is one of the greats! The only thing I would say is that I don't ever input my exercise because then it deducts calories and makes it look as of you have to consume them again. I asked my sister in law, who's a dietitian and she said that just because you burn calories, it doesn't mean you have to consume them again. Other than that, everything is pretty good!

calorie counter myfitnesspal app reviews App does what it is supposed to do most of the time. From time to time there's an outage and it stops working but now.... I just paid for another year of subscription and it keeps kicking me out. I did reinstall app and cleared all the cache and everything few times. Helps for few minutes bad soon as I close the app and reopen it I am no longer ba premium user. I can't reinstall it every time I will use it. Can this be solved? I am willing to change the rating to 5 stars if this gets solved.

calorie counter myfitnesspal download Using the MyFitness Pal app makes it easy to count calories and has helped me to take off 34 lbs. There are many aspects of the app that I don't use because I just don't want to take the time. But the one thing I struggle with is that the measurements provided in searches (grams) often aren't easy to convert into measurements that I use more often (ounces).

calorie counter vs myfitnesspal I trialed the free version for a couple of weeks, and had such a good experience that I upgraded on the next payday! I love how I can build my gym routine and update as I go. I am diabetic, and have been trying to lose weight since my diagnosis to help put it in remission. The diet diary has been an enormous help in this regard, allowing me to scan barcodes for both quick meals, and to upload my own recipes. Setting my own macro goals has also allowed me to keep a good eye on my carb intake.

  7. Dawn Murphy-avatar

food calorie counter myfitnesspal Was quite a good, useable app until the recent update. I now cannot access my diary most of the time because it keeps trying to force me to accept personalised ads. There's no "no" button just accept all or "remind me later" [which doesn't work]. That's not how data protection is supposed to work and I will be uninstalling it if matters don't improve.

  8. B Carlton-avatar

better calorie counter than myfitnesspal Great for tracking weight plus calories, carbs and protein intake, which is all I need it to do; however the recent increase in ads (with sound) for non-premium users is SUPER annoying because it slows down the apps response time and things get logged in twice--and ads aren't even fitness-related. It does have lots of additional fitness information for fanatics (blogs, exercises, diet plans, recipes, etc), most of which is all over the map and not for me. Beginners will likely be overehelmed.

myfitnesspal calorie counter accuracy This app is has a lot of features that I realy like and has helps me to lose weight and stay on track. However it is glitchy at times. Some days I can create a recipe with no problems and on some days there is a 50/50 shot that it will not save. It may save or it may just say it cannot be saved at this time, try again later. I also wish the quick add for food had an optional title box. Maybe there is a feature for this however the apps layout is already so busy I just cannot find it.

  10. Chris M-avatar

fitbit calorie counter vs myfitnesspal The design and functionality of the app is good but sadly it doesn't sync properly. UA are aware of issues but their own admission have made no progress resolving them for months. That isn't really acceptable given the price of membership and shouldn't be the case with official partners. It wouldn't be so bad if you could just input the data manually for when it doesn't sync but you can't.

I like the app. But most of the time I start it up, I get the Blue opening page and "Please Wait..." It can take 2 or 3 minutes for the little circle to stop spinning and the app completes its startup. If I reboot my phone, it starts more quickly - but this is happening only with the MyFitnessPal app - no others on my phone. I tried uninstalling / installing again, but same problem. 3 mo. later: above prob went away. Now I'm getting flooded by intrusive screens to sell me the pro version.

  12. Mariana Beeghly-avatar

    Mariana Beeghly

All in all the app is ok for tracking basic things. There is still a lot of missing or incorrect information added in to the food log. The home page is redundant and a mess. You can add friends, but no one talks to each other and if there is information you have to scroll down between blogs and recipes to see anything. There are a lot of improvements that need to be made.

  13. Sharisse Brannon-avatar

I've had the free version of the app for years. I think it was sometime last year it went downhill. Now you can update the app & it doesn't open. That's frustrating when you have planned your meals for the the entire day & may want to make an adjustment or track sodium intake etc. Its definitely the app b/c if i go to the website o can see the info. Unfortunately the website doesn't have all the features that the app has.

  14. Canci O'Brien-avatar

    Canci O'Brien

This app is a great tool for becoming mindful of what you're eating. When you record your eating and exercise, you can see very clearly which areas you need to work on. The health and fitness articles are interesting and informative. I would love breastfeeding and pregnancy modes for women who want to adjust their nutrients and calorie requirements, and articles and workouts for women who are pregnant/postpartum or breastfeeding.

Was working great and is/was my go to app. I even purchased the premium membership. I use MyFitnessPal to connect to Samsung Health to manage my steps. As of yesterday it no longer tracks them. I've looked everywhere, I've deleted and reinstalled both apps, I've cleared cache and data. Backed up and sync at least 10 times in the last 23 hours. Never have the steps come back, but now get 2x and 3x exercise activity everytime. Please help. Useless if not working right. Refund? Thank you.

  16. Ellie-avatar

Update: Making exercise increase your calories for the day and hiding the option to turn it off behind a paywall sucks. Completely undermines the point of calculating your macros in the first place. Getting worse. Duplicates all entries so some days I've eaten 7,000 calories, other days I've done 20,000 calories worth of exercise. Takes ages to manually delete duped entries. App is now completely useless. How have you broken something that's worked so well for so many years, so badly?!

  17. Roxanne Reiter-McKenzie-avatar

    Roxanne Reiter-McKenzie

I used this app years ago & it has come a looking way. The nutrition with bar code scanner is a wonderful tool. I find you can enter in your own recipe to calculate how many calories are in each portion if you like to cook your own food like I do & there is so many foods already entered into the app that searching for what you ate or are going to eat is so simple now. I gave this four stars as there is always room for improvement. For instance, a tossed salad comes up that it is high in fat

Just like previous feedback, MFP no longer syncs with Samsung Health. Huge bummer. I have tried all the tricks and unlike the last time this happened, none of them worked. I'm on day 2 with no syncing. Until the problem is fixed, I will Uninstall MFP and just use Samsung Health because that is what is tied to my Samsung Active watch. Hope this is fixed soon.

Helpful, but Needs Work (pricing options, info on how to connect with the social platform, etc) and some bugs to be fixed (posting articles) but is still an amazing invention!!! I am a Certified Health Coach and Personal Trainer...and I always advise my clients use this app...vs others, so I know I make the app $$$ but it's simply honesty and experience, combined!!!

Game changer, this app has changed my life, bolt claims I know!, But the ability to keep a food diary, to understand the difference in calories in food and what I'm eating has been a massive help in my new eating lifestyle, very easy to use,can keep a track of my weight and calorie intake, school learning parts of the app but so far it's awesome!!

  21. David Ashlin-avatar

When I try to edit a recipe and I click on an ingredient, it defaults back to 1 serving even though I have already set it to a specific number previously. If I had accepted these changes unknowingly, this would have thrown off my calories each time I used that recipe and I probably would have never realized it. This is clearly a big problem.

  22. Norma Brown-avatar

Extremely Helpful!!! I have premium membership and it's a game changer. It allows you to keep track of macros (carb intake) and LOW CARBS is one key to weight loss. I know what everything I consume consists of from calories to vitamins. You can add in your daily exercise or connect with quite a few apps to get your calorie burn and consumption all in one place. I suggest MY FITNESSPAL PREMIUM for anyone who is SERIOUS about weight-loss.

its an okay app, to technical and cluttered tho it'll be hard to keep consistent on this app with so many buttons and logs, and when you try an play a brain game like an IQ game, you have to use a payment method something or whatever, and you also have to subscribe to something???? if u want ppl to keep busy and not eat and sleep all day why are you doing this i dont get it? but its good for ppl who get used to a cluttered app with alot of words logs and graphs🙄👍.

This app was working just fine. Syncing with Samsung health till this AM. Looks like Samsung health was updated on my phone since then the syncing between the stopped working (steps & exercises). Then, this app pushed an update, and now that update is syncing ONLY exercises, but they are showing up multiple times - up to 10, 15 or 20 times. This needs to be fixed. I was really enjoying using this app till now! Please fix ASAP.

  25. Pamela Mantone-avatar

I needed an app to track calories consumed and calories used with remaining balances to ensure that I maintain my current weight. This does that perfectly and I gave it 5 stars. Currently as of 10/05/20 I also lost the ability to sync with Samsung Health which changes my review as well. Love both apps as they do what I need them to do. Hope the issue is resolved soon. I downgraded my review to 2 stars.

  26. DreamGazer-avatar

I have been using this app for years and it's amazing! It has helped me lose so much weight and also maintain a healthy weight. Plus, with the tracking of what you need to eat in a day, protein carbs, fats, vitamins, etc. It's easy to see what type of meals you need to make. All in all, if you're looking for an app to keep you on track, I would highly recommend this one

  27. Morgan-avatar

This app has made my life a living hell. I can't save recipes, nutrition info from the label that I fix doesn't save with the ability to adjust the measurement, there is mass confusion on what the point is between the meals/foods/recipes tabs (seriously, i don't get it), some foods will automatically delete from my log (I've watched this happen), and the option to use grams isn't made available for those of us measuring out our food. BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME & MONEY!!!!

  28. Myron Peers-avatar

    Myron Peers

This app works great for me. I'm able to track my calories daily along with the nutrition. But I wish that it would give you the nutritional value of the foods that you eat during the course of the day and even tell you that you need more fruits and vegetables. Great program though.....It would be nice if they would tell you what the update version cost....

  29. Jim-avatar

Very Inaccurate library. Garbage in, garbage out. Switched to a competitor (free) and immediately started getting the desired results, after over a year of frustrations with lack of results with CC. Still getting the results after 4 months. Yes, were and still weighing intake with scale and measuring output with the same fitness watch, with heart rate. Only change was the app, and the now reliable results.

  30. Andrew H-avatar

Does not synchronize with steps. Customer service is a problem - extremely not helpful. Charges cost immediately instead of at the end of the trial 30 days. Nightmare to get out of the membership and refunded. Needs to be better, before you enter your credit card number. Wait until it improves or find a better app.

  31. Jelena Sivcevic-avatar

Very happy to change my review after giving it one star earlier in the year. It works easily and everything in the app is pretty intuitive. This app also has such a large variety of food which, combined with the scan feature, saves so much time. I would recommend this app to anyone for the purposes of tracking calories.

  32. Scott-avatar

I've been using MyFitnessPal for about 5 years and have logged nearly 1900 days in a row. Calorie counting apps such as MFP really create awareness of what you are eating and more importantly, how MUCH you are eating. This app has really helped me throughout the year. 5 stars...until recently :( Something has changed recently with the MFP design team. A few month sago they changed the total calorie link from the food diary to macros. I wasn't a big fan of that change because I was clicking on the total calorie number to input foods for nearly 4 years. BUT, i got used to it....because change is good, right? However, MFP recently added a dark popup that appears EVERY time you add a food. This popup is right in the middle of the screen and shows you the food you just added. In theory this might seem useful but you can literally see what you added without this popup. There's no reason to show you "twice", because your food shows up instantly once you add it. And when you add a meal (multiple foods), the popup only shows you one food, so it's pointless with a meal entry. In fact. the popup actually gets in the way more than it helps because it stays up for 4+ secs. This actually gets in the way when I'm trying to add multiple foods at once because I can't see behind the popup. In fact, this popup lasts AFTER you close or minimize the app. It's ridiculous....very intrusive. This is definitely a bug that should NOT have made it out of the testing stage. Makes you wonder how safe your data is if something this obvious makes it out to the public. There was already one security breach where my data was compromised. I don't know what's going on lately with the MFP team, but something has changed...leadership maybe? I've been using the app for 5 years straight and DO NOT like using the app anymore. I am considering switching to a different app and strongly encourage others to look elsewhere. Something isn't right with MFP lately. It's sad, because this used to be good app. UPDATE 10/07/2020: Now you are unable to delete an entry. It just shows right back up. And, the unneeded popup is still right in the middle of the screen, even after I close the App. UA/MFP - What are you doing over there? Or better yet, what aren't you doing over there? Let me tell you a little secret about life: Sometimes "Less" is "More". Keeps things simple and straight to the point. Your "creativeness" is destroying your app, seriously. Again, I've been using this App for over 5 years. The last year the app went from 5 stars to 2, maybe 1 star. You need to rethink your product and act when customers have issues. There's been numerous bugs/issues brought up over the past few months by various people and they still exist. However, you keep on telling everyone "Thanks" for bringing this to our attention". Old saying applies here: "Actions speak louder than words". Get things done please.

So far I have been doing really well with tracking my food intake. I like that I can link my fitness app to this app also to count calories. Well it was good for what I needed it for. Now I cant get it to sync with my devices properly. The step counter function is saying it cant sync. I depend on this function for my calorie counter.

Very insightful and addictive. I like that I can track what I've eaten and scan foods I'm unsure of. It has also made me realise that I've been eating food thinking it's doing no harm and not actually realising how much calories they hold. Using this app has shown I've been eating way over the daily recommendation so I'm glad that I can track my calories now. I just wish that it could sync with the veryfitpro app that I use with my fitness watch on my phone.

9.29.2020: I used to love this App. Great way to track food/caloric intake. The OS is 💩 now though. Hasn't been synching w/ Fitbit OR with MapMyRun (sister database/App). I shouldn't have to go online to disconnect, log off, then back on again. And doesn't always show log'd h20 next time App is opened. May as well hand write food diary. Side note: food database is now ridiculous; too many entries of *same* product. MMF folks should consolidate duplicates! It's a reason I'm not a Prem👑 member!

App is no longer syncing steps with Samsung Health. This has been going since 9/29, i.e. their last update. I've tried every workaround including clearing both caches, disconnecting, and uninstalling both apps but nothing works. Extremely disappointed. I would consider purchasing the premium service, but I won't until it's more reliable.

I've used MFP for years and always loved it, BUT the since the update before last, it's been virtually unusable because it loads so slowly and constantly crashes. Really disappointed and hope they fix it ASAP. It's a great app when it works but I just don't have the time to be trying to reload it x3 just to put in one snack item.

This app is my favorite for helping me track my nutritional and fitness goals. It's such a quick and easy snapshot to see my progress and I love how it keeps me on track with little inspiring notes of how I'm doing and alerting me when I've met my goal for the day. I also love that it keeps history so I can see my patterns.

  39. CHERYL Gamst-avatar

Just starting to use the app. It works very well. The only reason I gave it a 4 is that the foods I eat most often have to be searched for and selected for my daily diary, but cannot be also added to "my foods" for continued use. So I have to create them in my foods to reuse them. Otherwise I really like the app.

I loved this app, until it stopped syncing with Samsung Health to count steps, rendering it fairly usless. I can only unsync, uninstall, reinstall and resync so many times over the last 4 days before assuming the issue is with the app. Guess it was nice while it lasted and I'll be looking for a new app. Very disappointing.

It was great till it stopped working with Samsung health. It was working perfectly fine yesterday but no today. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both apps with no luck. Edit: The support team behind MyFitnessPal need to actually read past the first sentence. If they had, they would know that I already knew of their suggestion and had already done so several times. Last time that trick worked but not this time. I even retried today with no luck. They need to figure out a real solution.

Same problem for me since Wednesday Sept 30. Not syncing steps from Samsung Health. I've tried all the suggested solutions many times. I even tried switching to Google Fit to see if that would sync, but it also didn't work. I don't like Google Fit anyway. I like Samsung Health. This problem started before I downloaded the most recent mfp update & is still not fixed. I really do love the app, but for now I'm rating 1 star. This is a problem that needs to be addressed.

Quite easy to use but at times it freezes. I thought it was my old phone but changed to a new and a powerful one and it still does happen. Another issue I have is with connection to MapMyWalk. It was connected at first but then the connection was lost. So now no matter how many times I say I want to connect these two apps nothing happens and I still have to enter my walks manually.

This is a hoax App...When I first used it...It asked me to join their Yearly Premium Plan and said I can cancel anytime...Then a few days ago, without any warning, they just deducted $64 off my bank account...Unlike other subscription services, they remind you a few days before they deduct the fees...This one just quietly deduct $64 off ny bank account...I didn't even know it until my bank warned me...And I did not even receive a single receipt...Not even in the App...USERS BEWARE!!!

Disappointed - the app that was running great and really helping me a lot, now has started to take a very long time to load on my phone. I used the app for 2 weeks and I was loving it. Then I upgraded to premium and since then it's not synching the steps with Samsung Health. There is a bug apparently but they can not fix it. Considering canceling my subscription. The issue was not solved so I will be canceling my subscription.

App no longer syncing stats from Samsung Health. Samsung Health will receive updates from MyFitnessPal, but MFP is not showing steps or workouts from Samsung Health. I have disconnected SH, uninstalled both, cleared cache and data on MFP and retried multiple times and it still won't sync. I would give 5 as I love the app and it has helped me lose over 30lbs in less than 3 months, but Samsung Health syncing is vital to my needs and this is a recurring problem.. I've had it happen 3 times now.

Forced opt-in to personalised ads. Guess just serving ads without being creeps about it isn't profitable. Ok calorie tracker, they have the biggest library around but simple parts of the quantity entry interface have had the same bugs for years: 500g will turn into 500 portions, a meal will get duplicated 3 times over, random freezes, etc. I wish there was something better out there.

This app helped me lose 20 lbs with diet alone during this pandemic. I've been struggling thinking I needed to train like a movie star to lose some weight but I was just having way to many calories a day. I'm really happy with how much help it's given me. Also I love that I can sync with my fitbit to track the calories I burn.

Great, favorite app for recipes and food. For recipes it only allows how many servings not serving size by weight or measurement. If i could do servings by weight or measurement (ie cup or tbs) it would be much more accurate and would make it easier for me rather than saying it makes 8 servings. Some sauces I make are several cups but I only need a tablespoon which makes conversion in the moment diffucult.

Stopped syncing steps with Samsung Health after 2 weeks of using it. Tried connecting with Google Fit but is off by 6000 steps on average. Reported issue by email over a week ago. This connection was crucial for a health insurance program that Under Armour holds a majority of connected apps for. Tried Map My ... apps with the same result, either off by thousands of steps or doesn't sync at all. Samsung Gear watch app never worked. Loads to 50% and freezes.

I'm trained in dietetics and to therefore find this a useful and intelligent way to track my meals (& exercise) as well as being mindful of the composition of those meals. The nutrition breakdown helps me balance my Caloric intake throughout the day as well as balancing the building blocks of proteins, fats, CHOs, sugars, and ensuring enough fiber and essential vitamin and mineral intake. Great tool!!

Stopped Syncing Steps with SHealth, this is normally a great application, but over the last few days it has stopped syncing my steps. I tried everything on my end, thinking it was something I did. But it appears it's a breakdown on the applications side. Hopefully it'll get resolved soon.

I originally rated this app four stars with the comment, "The only thing missing is the ability to track net carbs." Under Armour and MyFitnessPal took care of that little problem. It's a much better app now for those on keto. However, because the app didn't originally track fiber, alcohol sugars and sweeteners like erythritol, it will take awhile for the app's database to purge some bad entries. Still, I think it now deserves five stars.

Previously, I posted a complaint here. The MyFitnessPal team responded and the issue was fixed. So I am now amending my review. The program is good, has helped me several times in the past and is my go-to method of figuring out where I'm missing calories or snacks that I should count towards my overall food consumption. But what was really cool was the responsiveness of the team and the fact that they fixed the issue really fast. Thanks for that :)

**UPDATE: I have been using the app since last July 2019. It's a great tool. I have lost 70 lbs. on the keto diet since then, I couldn't have been so successful without it! Helps keep me on track with my goals. **My steps were recorded thanks to a Samsung watch. Step tracker quit working a few days ago. I've tried the "fix" several times now and followed the directions each time. Still like it for tracking intake and macros. The step thing is a definite problem.

Easy to use. Lots of options to choose from. Really helps me keep track of how much I'm eating. I feel like the algorithm for how much you are supposed to eat depending on how active you are and your goal weight is a bit off. I am trying to gain weight and it just seems like it's not really made for that prediction algorithm because when I eat the recommended calorie amount it says ill basically just retain weight.

Quality has dropped in the few years I've used this on both iOS and Android. Went from iPhone 11 Pro Max to Note 20 Ultra and both apps are problematic. I switch every year between iOS and Android. And the Android version is still ugly! It's like they did nothing in a year! Update the Android UI please. Come on can we get some uniformity across platforms? It gets the basics right at least, but staying a premium member may not be a thing for me if this keeps up. I may have to find something new!

Love It - Just Want a Bit More! I love that you can scan barcodes & it will calculate everything for you. I love that you can connect other apps (like Samsung Health) and it will auto pull in the steps & other things you have in your app. I love that you can save your own recipes or import from the web too. Pls add oxalate counter/tracker. Also, I'd like to see all of the exercise options combined into 1 search category so I don't have to try to figure out if it's under strength or cardio.

Doesn't allow you to do anything without accepting to give away your precise location or information for "relevant adds". Edit: No, it is not about the android permissions. It has become definitely more user friendly than the last time I tried to use it. I wish it would more easily bring up the things that I choose. For instance my dayia supreme pizza, for which I use the barcode reader but when I try to put in the name the app acts like it's never ever seen it before. So it would be faster if it would add the things that I eat so I could simply bring them up again without having to resort to the barcode reader. Once I've thrown the box away barcodes don't help.

The app worked fine until they changed the user workflow and tried to sell services over providing a streamlined user experience for calorie counting, which is weird, because this app is called Calorie Counter - MyFitnessPal. I'd say it's pretty clear the dev. team doesn't have the vision and interest any longer to deliver a satisfying product. In general, the biggest draw is the user generated entries that allow for barcode scanning of products to "easily" count calories, but that's clunky.

I have been using this to track my calories, and it does work quite well, might need some time to get used to it. It become more interesting when I can sync with my Samsung Fitness Tracking to track the calories burnt, although there are some problems with it (negative feedback is too much especially for activity couple of days back; and sometimes the same activity is duplicated, after delete the duplicates, it will still pop up). I'm honestly disappointed with MyFitPal. I've been using this app for quite a few years, and I feel that the quality has steadily dropped. I get it, it's a free app. However, I don't understand why I don't get notifications, even after adjusting all settings (phone and app) just so I can get a reminder to log breakfast. Its a great app, helps with tracking macros and premium helps provide more detail. The one thing that annoys me is creating a meal. I meal prep weekly, so it would be great to add everything easily but its REALLY difficult to use the user interface in creating a meal. I've just about given up fighting with this app. I almost never do the "complete" on my dairy's tracking because it doesn't matter how often you restart the app or even uninstall and reinstall, you have to wait several minutes or kill the app entirely for it to be usable / responsive again. Ads ADs, ADS - the app is all but disappeared from view!!! Have to agree 100% with other reviews. Its interface is so overly crowded with ads it's MADdeningly difficult to track your own progress or find what you need. VERY frustrating! The constant ads pushing premium have me seriously wondering if this is even worth keeping anymore. Haven't uninstalled yet but trying out other apps so only time will tell. Downgrading my review to 1 star only until these bugs are resolved - when you are trying to create or edit a meal, if your screen goes off in the process, the meal gets deleted or all the ingredients disappear! And that's even when you have already previously saved the meal! That is simply ridiculous. This app is absolute garbage. I've made a meal twice and it's disappeared twice. Missing crucial functionalities like how many serves in one meal. Most of the foods' nutrition values are wrong. App is glitchy. Calories and macros from meals are not calculated correctly. If we eat same item twice a day, say 200 gms of rice for lunch and 150 gms for dinner, the app calculates 200 grams for both the meals and end of the day it counts macros worth 400 gms of rice. Worst of all, even though I've set every measurable thing to use the metric system, foods such as steak still use stupid measurements like lbs or oz. I cannot find a tutorial to use this app and cannot find any Help link either. No way I will pay for a membership when I cannot use what is suppose to be available on the free w/ads app.

The food tracking feature is easy to use, the database of food is large, and the app syncs well with Garmin Connect. I do wish I could sync it with Health Mate and I don't use all the features, but overall, I really like the free version of the app.

This used to be really good, but it periodically stops synching the Samsung step counter. No matter what you do, it will not sync. Other than that, it's still OK, but I'll be looking for an alternative that takes my steps into account as I do a lot of walking.

I thought the app was free ?🤷‍♀️ I've had $64 dollars added to my phone bill How did I manage to download not seeing I had to pay ?. Can you please explain in more detail. That said I'm more than happy with the app and it's a great tool. However I don't want to be continuing charged ?

I've been using this app for a while and the experience has always been positive. Looking up foods, creating your own recipes, and the sync with my fitbit helps me track my health. I'd give it a 4.5, but I chose five to make sure it remains above four as I can't give a decimal in my rating.

I have used free app for 4 years and have lost 80 lbs or so, down from 275 to 192. It will work for anyone if they enter data and abide by app guides. Especially for me as I am quantitative and this provides almost instant recognition of calorie consumption. After continued use you will become aware and control becomes much easier. Many diets available but there isn't one that works that does not allow direct or indirect calorie control

My harsh criticism is that I just want to track my calories and nutrients, I don't want another endless scroll feed that I ultimately ignore. The default screen should be the diary and you should be able to turn off all the social aspects. Maybe make a lite version of the app?

This was definitely a five-star app before it stopped supporting syncing with Samsung Health! It's caused so much anxiety over the last few days where steps/exercise stopped being tracked! Having to manually input calories over from Samsung Health makes me feel as though I'm cheating the app so is detrimental to my overall goals! I'll revisit this review once this is fixed as it's a deal breaker really!

Steps not syncing with other fitness app. I use the Samsung Health fitness app and Samsung Galaxy Watch 2, along with this app to calculate my steps and calories. Since Monday 28th September, 2020, my steps have not been syncing with this app. I reinstalled and tried troubleshooting with the app and no luck.

Not syncing with Samsung Health. Up until a day or two ago it was syncing my steps just fine but all of a sudden it stopped. I've uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared caches, unlinked Samsung Health multiple times, etc. What is the problem? Are you working on this issue?

I love the app the only thing that I am having an issue with is the fact that none of my apps are connected to my fitness pal. For example Samsung Health or Google Fit aren't syncing correctly. I have no idea why it isn't connected like it used to before the last update but I need this little hiccup fixed please.

I really like this app. I have the free version and have never felt pressured to get the premium. It let's you track your daily calorie intake, check your macros and nutrients. It also let's you set goals and discover recipes, excercise routines and even food recipes!! All this with the free version!!! Fantastic app

App works really well. Only problem is that most users seem to be American, so it can sometimes be hard to find things in appropriate measurements (ie, grams of chicken thigh rather than cups or ounces). An in-built ounces to grams conversion would help.

I have used this app few years ago, so not totally new. Came back recently to keep track of my calories better. Was recently diagnosed with Type 2 disbetes and thus far, this has helped me keep things in check. Recommend for might be surprised at just how much you consume on daily basis. The app has many tools you can use to help with any journey you may be on.

In six months I have lost 60 POUNDS! Just faithfully using this app. Didn't cut ANY foods out, just tracking and being aware and walking every day. Recently added "TrackMyWalk" app, and it automatically adds that cardiovascular workout and calorie usage to the diary on MyFitnessPal. AWESOME!

Keep coming back. I've used this app on/off for the past 6+ yrs and watched it morph. Agreed lot of clutter/ads you have to wade through, forcing me to testdrive premium. Nice addition being able to link apps and devices. Would love to see more smart scales; eg 1byone health.

Need to improve connectivity issues with Samsung Health. Doesn't add the nutrition values correctly to the Samsung health. Also for the last 2 days doesn't synchronize the steps into fitness pal app from the Samsung health like it used to. If you solve these 2 issues the can get 5 star from me. Thanks

While the app gives great info on the nutritional side, it doesn't seem to sync consistently with my Samsung health app where I record my exercises, as the app info to add exercises doesn"t work well for me. I guess one needs to use the paid version for this for it to work properly...

So easy to use and useful for keeping a focus on your diet, exercise and goals. Love the scanner for your food and have never had trouble finding a match for my meal. It even has nutrition info for recipes that I use from my allrecipes app.

This app is soooo wonderful and accurate that I have legit gained around 6 kgs in 3 weeks. As I am trying to keep track of what food I eat, this helps heaps in identifying what food it is exactly. Aiming for 3.7k calories a day is hard but with this tracker it is pretty breezy. Thank you!

Its been great tracking my intake and keeping accountability recorded. Main thing to watch out for is the nutrition facts on preloaded foods. Double check them and edit them if needed. Don't take the fact that it's already listed in the app as it being 100% correct.

How about you remove the sound from ads so your app doesn't wake my children when I try and log a meal? I thought we were past this with popular apps. Disappointing. Thank you for responding. Review increased to 3 stars. Should be auto disabled or auto muted like most other apps.

It is a pretty good app. I gave it three stars because it never syncs with my Samsung app for the exercise information. I have tried to manually sync and disconnect/reconnect multiple times and it only works once in a while.

Using it for gestational diabetes, carb tracking. It's really great but I wish it had an option to track net carbs. Also wish I could track glucose meter readings. But the app is awesome and lots of happy people recommended it to me.

I thought that logging my food would take to much time and I would forget. But I have found the more I do it the easier it is and I am much more aware of the calories that are actually going in!! It makes it so much easier to stick to healthy eating habits! I love it!!

Fantastic app!! It's the first time in 40 years that I've been able to stick to a diet without cheating! The bar code scanner is amazing, even rare random products can be scanned successfully. It's great that I can connect my fitbit to the app too. It encourages me to walk and exercise more.

Mostly a good app except it stopped adding my steps from Samsung Health. I was thinking about going Premium but I have to figure out my steps on my own so I probably won't do that now. I do like the other features like scanning bar codes and adding my own recipes.

Helps keep track on meals and calories, gives ideas on food and aspects of losing weight. Just wish we had a better graph of weight loss with a running total of loss. Plus the goal points met such as 5% and 10%.....and each stone loss as it is reached.

Aside from the VERY EXCESSIVE amount of ads recently, I love MFP. Although, it is not as good as it was 2360 days ago when I started using it, I still lost 100 lbs with it. It's part of my daily routine.

Excellent. Only downside is that one function doesn't work with Fast800 diet. Because it's below 1000 calories a day it won't do the end of day Complete Diary function. But apart from that it's great at keeping you on track!! 😊
