    This app is absolutely horrible. I have never reviewed an app in my life, but people need to know how much of a piece of garbage this app is. Verizon is supposed to be the Number One service, but have published an app that behaves like a 2004 dial-up connection. The app freezes while you type, and remains unresponsive for minutes. I just signed up as a new customer, and I'm not even sure it processed because the app crashed and it won't allow me to sign into My Verizon. Some first impression.

    app The app should be easy to use, and when it comes to paying my bill it usually is! But I have experienced several hiccups through ordering a new phone through the app - I had to restart the app several times before it would accept the new shipping address I wanted to add, and every time I have tried to communicate with the support bot over the last two days, it has given me error message after error message. I wish the app refreshed more seamlessly and was nit so challenging to make work.

    fios What happened to this app! It had aways showed my data usage on face of widget! Now it's gone and to look at it, I have to sign in repeatedly! And now it's showing zero data used with 10 days left!? Really?? I'm going to screen shot it and refuse to pay an overages!! Fix this. People need to see data usage at a glance and not have to sign in over and over again... Yeesh!

    bill Verizon had a good app, once upon a time. Now, fow example, I opened it today and it clearly told me I had ZERO data remaining and 22 days left to deal with that. However, when I signed in to Verizon account it clearly stated that I have "100%"date remaining to cover the next 22 days. It's foolishness like this that cause me to stop what I'm doing to search for the correct information. Something needs to change for the better. This poor communication is not what I have known past Verizon.

    business I love the app, I'm able to find out info I need without having to wait on hold with the 800 #! I had to put it down to a 4**** for me, since the last update, my data widget has stopped counting down. Not very happy about this. I like being able to watch our data, but its not working anymore! Please fix this so I can once again keep track 👣 of it. Thank you!

    wireless login It really sucks, having to log in each and every time, especially when it's my damn phone! The data usage, always shows a totally different % of what the actual usage is per line, it always shows 100%, after you click it. The Verizon up point system, offers you totally useless products,no one uses!! Absolutely disappointing app, waste of memory,on my phone! It almost makes me regret, I've stuck around VZW, over 30+ years!

    prepaid Can I give this update a negative star? Keeps asking me to log in (even though I AM logged in), but the log in screen is blank. New widget sucks; no easy to read graphic? Can't view data usage (current usage still shows 0%, fifteen days into my billing period, and past usage is no longer available). If you are attempting to completely destroy any usability for this app/widget, congrats: you've accomplished that. Who in the h3ll do you have writing/updating your apps? Fire them, now!

    online Since the update, every time you click on a sub category in the menu , it asks you to sign in. Once you enter your password it says "Oh no, your session ended." It continues to do this every single time you try to click on any of them and still never logs you in. I hate it.

    mobile Absolutely terrible! DO NOT CHANGE YOUR NUMBER! If you do, you will no longer be the account owner, even if you are the sole person on the account. This makes all sorts of errors occur! Not to mention being locked out of areas of your account because "you are not the account owner". Good luck trying to call or chat with Verizon, I'm sure they wouldn't have a clue as to how to fix this. BE WARNED!!! Double check that you are opted out of all marketing! Considering a new carrier. This is just bad

    bill pay Useless POS. I will not give location access so now I can't log in and see my account. Everything on their website is broken as far as accessing my account. I have tried calling and been on hold for over an hour. I can't use chat because I can't log in. Oh.... but they want money and have no problems with finding reps to help me pay or sign up for service.

    Update: Still having to sign in twice EVERYTIME I sign in. It's very annoying. I'd prefer it keep me signed in but it won't... Tired of signing in. I have to sign in every time I want to get into the app. It NEVER takes my password the first time and I know it's being put in correctly. I watch every letter and number as I'm putting it in. I never used to have to sign in each time. Why now??

    My user ID is not my phone number but the app defaults to my phone number and has no option to change the user ID and so it won't recognize my password. I can go to the web site & login with no problems. Why have the app if I have to go to the web site for my account info and/or changes? At least they fixed the fingerprint recycling! Still can't use the app though. This app worked great for years but no it's broken! Like the hotspot reset issue Verizon will not see any urgency to fix this soon

    They are great for reminding me when my bill is due, ahead of time in most cases. Even though I signed up for paperless billing I still recieve a "a friendly reminder " letter in the mail? But when times are tough and I need to sort out some unused resources and trim up by temporarily reducing my plan suddenly the hours are changed and there is an extremely long waiting time, "you should try our website " and there is no direct link, then I have to request manager access? Who do you think pays!!

    The "Manage Autopay" function doesn't display what has been done correctly. It doesn't show the correct date chosen for autopay when a payment date is changed in the app, nor does it indicate autopay has been successfully "suspended" (it simply states that autopay will be made on the date specified, not that it has been suspended). Email gives correct info it appears.

    The longer I have used this app, the more problems and bugs I have experienced. Here are a few of my recent experiences: 1. App used to require sign-in only to access account billing, payment, or settings. Now app requires sign-in just to open. 2. Log-in fails often even after multiple attempts. 3. If user leaves app even momentarily, it logs off without warning. 4. Prices and promos for products on app do not comport with website. 5. App no longer sends texts or emails to confirm bill payment.

    Easy to manage layout, good app. Found out I was paying for protection I didn't know I had, in the long run it cost me a 150 dollars more to have both screen replaced in my driveway and not get the new battery offered at brick-n-mortar shops. I wouldn't have signed up for that and don't recall doing so but it's fixed say-la-vie.

    Everytime i try to use the app it says session expired and will not allow me to view any of my information. It is so annoying and I've mentioned it to customer support several times and yet nothing was done. I have to close and reopen the app about six times in order to even view my bill.

    Really laggy and buggy. For a phone service, you would think it would be a great app but it's really not which is disappointing coming from Verizon. One example is that even though I'm signed in, I still have to put in my password but everytime I try do this, the app freezes and won't put in the rest of my password.

    I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having problems with this app. The data widget and the app has said that I have 3.28 GB of data for a month! Obviously, that isn't correct. Also, everytime I try to do anything in this app it says sign in expired. So, I type my password and it says sign in over and over and over. Never had trouble with it until about a month ago. No sense in having it if it doesn't work. I uninstalled.

    This is an Invasive and forceful service provider. Verizon only allows you access to your account for mobile devices by this app. If you want to sign on by website desktop it freezes up your phone and blocks access! Hell, users can't even open the app on your phone without first updating! They hijack a customer's privileges--a sign of overreaching control.

    Your app sucks! It doesn't matter what you do, it keeps circling around saying oops you are signed out, please sign in, well guess what I DID THE UPDATE WITH THE SAME STUPID RESPONSE! What good is an app, that does not work right. I would think in these trying times, you would care more about helping your customers!

    The app was not great, but OK until recent update. Widget used to show easy to see and interpret graphic indicating remaining data, but now shows tiny numbers. The numbers are wrong at that because, according to them, I still have all my data remaining almost 3 weeks into the month. When I log in (again) I can only see my one line's data usage, not all lines on the plan. Like others, I also sometimes experience the "app freeze" when entering my password.

    Signing in from my phone to my account still required multiple hoops to jump through. Feel like the app should be more intuitive. Tried this app again. Once again.... IMPOSSIBLE to log in. Says passwords match then states passwords invalid. Which is it!?!?!?????? Another wasted 30 minutes of my life I won't get back If I I have already reviewed the app WHY are you asking again????? Sucked before....still sucks

    It repeatedly asks me to log in cause my session has expired but wont let me access anything without having to log in yet again. I've called Verizon multiple times to address the situation which corrects it momentarily but always goes back to the same issue. It is really aggravating just trying to access my information but can't. Really aggravating...

    Terrible. I get zero service. I can't get my Verizon Up reward because I have zero service. When was the last time you saw 1x service? For me it was just a couple of days ago. They dropped my employee discount. I don't know why. I submitted the same thing I have been using for the past two years. I have had no changes. When you require help you are connected with a robot that only gives you the run around. I've been paying $200/mo for the past 30 years. They don't give quotes or rates. Dropping.

    You get used to the app, they update and change it. Now it's constantly trying to get me to add all these "ease of access" login credentials and track my location. The low score is because everytime I try to view my bill it's asking me to leave of review of this stupid app. So here you go Verizon, enjoy your rating.

    The app doesn't seem to allow me to view the different options for service, pushes me on circles, offers a chat function that only offers prerecorded responses that don't answer my questions and when it says it will compare my plan to the one recommended, it gives no information about the recommended plan, it is really only useful to view your current plan , nothing else.

    The update ruined my phone....again. it totally rest EVERYTHING. Now I am totally locked out of sd card, which was primary storage for ALL apps. Verizon keeps making my phone worse and worse, I believe it is on purpose to make us "upgrade our phoned". Not first issue like this either. Verizon and Samsung, I really hate you.

    Doesn't work anymore as far as reporting how much data your lines have used, which is the main reason I downloaded it. Worked fine until a couple of months ago. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and doing all the updates, but to no avail. And of course, Verizon support is no help.

    I was laid off from my job and I had to pay about $600. For my bill. I just received my stimulus check and used most of it for this plan. I have 2 hotspots 1 of which I can't even use says has no sim card. Hasn't been working for 9 months. August is when my contract is up and planning on finding a new provider. I have a feeling I will be charged for the rest of my check tomorrow.

    The past month and a half the app constantly crashes. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, completely removed the software and reinstalled it. Force stopped it, normally a good app, but others around me have the same problem and until it is fixed this is a one star app

    App worked fine on old phone, but when I migrated to my new phone using SmartSwitch MyVZW will not let me sign in with my existing account. Verizon support live chat was sympathetic but said it's probably an app software glitch. I can sign in fine via the browser, but website doesn't have all the features Verizon support likes to use.

    Don't like the update, login is slower, and the app seems to randomly tell me my password is wrong (it isn't!), and asks me to reset it after so many times logging in! It was fine before they did the login page update a couple of updates ago. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

    The biggest frustration I have is that it keeps forgetting my password. Which is fine, but then it asks me if I want to be able to sign in with my finger print. Great! But it forgets my finger print too, and this is the 4th month that I've been through this cycle.

    I continue to have to disable this app because ads come through as texts. I enable this app to pay my bill then leave it activated in hopes Verizon won't continue to bother me with their ads. They continue to bother me with their ads so I again disable. I wish part of my money would be enough so Verizon doesn't need to beg for more money.

    Not only do I have to go to play store to get into it but every single time it tells me to update it. I updated it in April now it says update today May 4,2020. It does this everytime! The point of this app should be to make everything easier but anymore it is nothing but a nuisance!

    Tried uninstalling & reinstalling app. Won't let me sign in with my mobile phone number. Says account already exists with this number & would I like me to sign in as new profile member. I am the account owner. If I put in my tablet phone number it says the very same thing, so there's no way for me to get into account as a manager of the account. Tried resetting everything a few weeks ago with Verizon tech and this is what I got. Don't have smart cell phone to access app. So no rewards!!!

    Would give zero if i could. Now always makes u type in passwords, and when typing it freezes. Data shower is always wrong, can have wifi turned off and use only data all day for many days and it will still tell u ur at 100% unused. Good to pay bill online fast but soon getting paper bills again so i can get rid of this app thats not worth the space

    The biometric function doesn't work, at all (and it's the only app where I have a problem). Sign-in ALWAYS requires typing my password twice. UI could be better, especially when returning to a previous page. Disappointed but not surprised at all. Typical Verizon: makes you use their stuff that doesn't actually work all that great.

    Overall very good app. Some information I can't find, but normally I find what I need. Easy to navigate, but the back button doesn't always take you back to where you just were and may log you out. Everything else is well done.

    Just another perk for using verizon. Software that actually keeps your phone working better, backed up with solid customer service. It's like verizon's phone checker and plan manager. Just another reason I like verizon and wouldn't even consider switching. If it's not broken don't try and fix it. The only annoying thing about it (and this is a recent development) is having to re-enter your verizon password just to do a service check on your phone. It didn't used to ask for this more than once

    Will not allow you to pay bills or use the app unless they can have access to your location at all times. This is a ridiculous requirement to be able to use an app. The option to have access to my location while I'm using the app should be sufficient. Will log you out if you don't provide this information.

    Device health check really sucks! Every week, I have to clear my cache from each app individually and it still says that I have too many temporary files! That, and it identifies burst photos that are clearly different from each other, so that part is faulty also. Just more add on bloat aware that I have no use for!

    Had to turn on autopayments because of the app failing to notify me when a bill is due, regardless of all options being turned on. Also impossible to turn off notifications for concerts that I have zero interest in. Interface is a maze to find what you want and I've never seen another setup like it.

    Always signing me out mid use. It's impossible to stay signed in. I see "oh no your sessions expired" more than I see any other part of this app. Trying to pay a bill? Better be fast or you'll have to do it over again. Wanna check something about your account out? First sign in 25 times.

My favorite thing is that I can pay my bill from this app. I can look at my bill, chat with an agent, change my plan, look at the latest devices and other gadgets. Maybe once Verizon pulls their heads out of their rear end, I just may be able to finally use this app as it is intended and be able to access all I'm told it has to offer. Until then... 0 stars!

    Horrible!!! This app constantly tells me I'm signed out and I have to sign in again.....EVERY time I click on a menu option or anywhere in the app, even just opening it it tells me I've been signed out. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times. It is really frustrating!

    Absolutely the worst user friendly app I've ever used. It won't let me log onto my account to view anything. All I can do it view the adds and pay my overly priced bill for my phone. Verizon if you are ready this you definitely lost a customer of almost ten years. Just absolutely pitiful.

It fails authentication and the agents on it are not skilled from interactions. Its like a merrygoround speaking with them. Verizon also points most calls with c19 to the app making it worse.

    I was signing up for some new things that were being offered during Covid-19 and it said my pin was wrong. I then signed in from the beginning and those learning opportunities disappeared. I don't like when you know it's me and just to check my data I have to sign in again.

    Constantly signs you out. Useless to actually use because you get signed out randomly every 10 seconds and just when you think you have finally got it to load and not sign you out and get about half way through something....bam! Signed out again.

    Tried to downgrade to a plan with less data and it kept "crashing" my charges change and when I call cust serv to explain what I was prompted to pay, they have no idea what I'm talking about and make me feel like I'm lying or crazy. Just by solely using the app I've probably paid over $300 in late charges and reconnect charges after paying what this POS app told me to do. Bet Verizon has made millions from scamming people so subtly and they're laughing all the way to the bank.

    Lately I can't claim my Verizon Up reward. When I put my password in the screen just has the spinner and it never completes or times out. I've set my phone down for over 10 min's and it's still the spinner! Very frustrating. Please fix this and fast so I can claim my reward!!!

    Doesn't let me sign in even though I have tried every function on menu. Shows "Sign In" then restarts! Waste of space, function, and time! Guess will have to pay for this Free Amazing Time-saving Service before long. The last update did not correct this!

Original review: After the last update 04/09/20, the total percentage used still shows up but the individual usage percentage disappeared. Till that update, the app was OK.     Every aspect of this app is buggy. Can't view my bill because as soon as I enter my password and get a sign on pin it says my session has expired. Cart, shopping, support, billing, etc. It's all buggy. Running on Android 20; LG V60.

    Everytime I log in, I get an error saying the contact customer service. App doesn't update data usage, says I'm at 100% of data with 3 days remaining and I know I have used data while shopping.

    Doesn't report data usage any more. Always shows 100%. Also asks about turning on touch I'd everytime I open it, very annoying, no checkbox to remember my selection. Used to be a decent app, now pretty useless.

    This app is just like the reps at the store completely useless plus this company used to be at the top but now yes I have unlimited plan but they throttle you renewing my contract I told rep nah I dont want unlimited I wanted same plan because of 0 throttle but kept telling me nah you gotta renew with new plan once done with this contract I'm looking for another provider been a customer for a long time

    I just switched to Verizon and get an a new phone Samsung galaxy note less than one month start with having problems to receive calls in my brand new phone. Try getting support from customer service from the Verizon app ....this because they don't have in stores technical support....spend hours working on it with people by chat....just to gave my a 800 number to call and wait in line with music for one hour make short my story....worst technical support service I ever have.

    Everytime you open widget it requires PX#, user name, password etc. Like it's the first time the app is open. I know it is hooked in because it is keeping continuous track of my data but it's about all it's good for.

    Why do You need to go to internet to do most things. Cant see a detail of data usage on the main line used and was able to see all of the details, can not see the details of your secondary line used. For example, messages, internet, social media and what we went on. Now you can't see that anywhere. You always have to sign in to the app even when its on your own phone. There is no information about most things on your plan on this app. Put some things you can actually use on verizon up

    Entering your password lagging. Sometimes have to enter your password multiple times before it goes thru. Widget doesn't show data used anymore. Verizon should have a lot better app.

    Only thing I use it for is to check data, and it functions adequately for that. The frequent automatic logouts are a bit annoying, but I suppose the reasoning behind them is sound.

    App worked well, however after one of the latest updates you can no longer see the usage per phone line only a monthly total. After todays update monthly total no longer shows correct usage of the account. Get it together people.

    I'm happy with this app except for couple little things. App has taken up to 30 seconds to 45 seconds to open. To put my password in to get into my Verizon account there's a pause/stop's for maybe 20 to 35 seconds, then it continues on letting me finish password then into my account.

    This app suz to a degree that is so unexpected, when i changed from Verizon to C C , I HAD NOTTING BUT PROBABILITIES TO PAY MY LAST BILL! NONE of the kiox would let me pay took all my information off the computer so they say. My husband has his phone from work so we dont pay anything! Now all of a sudden we owe $246.82!!!! For what ???? I was hung up on when i waited for an hour for someone to answer the phone, Treated as rude as possible buy both people i eneded up talking to. Will not send

    it's terrible, They ask you for a pin number or a security question or your password again at nearly every different menu item it's absolutely maddening if they're that afraid that somebody's going to break into their front end login server then you know they got bigger issues.

    Can't see my data usage. Nothing has been updated since March 24 (it's now May 3). We are on a 10 gb plan. Even our paper bill shows we only used .44gb when we are never under 8gb. No help whatsoever from Verizon.

    The app only lets me login when i need to pay my bill. If i try to do anything else it freezes. I suggest using the website. Everytime the MyVerizon app updates it solves one problem and creates another.

    App is ok, don't use it until it gives me a notification of some kind. How about instead of giving me some useless reward and notifying me of said useless reward you just provide a working service and a lower bill and save the marketing dollars. *Edit* this app is becoming annoying and useless, giving constant notifications when I have turned all notifications off. Telling me about events I don't care about and "rewards" that are no longer valid the day you get the notification. I disabled this app until Verizon can give me the option to turn of the notification from the stupid pay it forward garbage. I have turned off all notifications for this app and I still get the notifications from Verizon Up and Pay it Forward concert stuff.

    You shouldn't have to use an app to view all features of Verizon or use an app in order to get your your rewards. This app is useless and there isn't a need for it. Unfortunately, in order to do anything you have to use this app. If there was a way to give 0 stars I would.

    The app is glitched. I can't use device bucks on my computer so I have to order in the app. BUT the app keeps defaulting to the most expensive insurance, regardless of the option I choose. I had to order without insurance and I will add it later, but that needs to be fixed.
