App design can be significantly improved. Maybe designed by and for hipsters. No way to navigate or find movie categories that you're in the mood of. One of the worst part about the app design is how they show the movie posters. They choose the most boring frame of the movie and edit it to make them look like even more boring pretentious art movies that you would never watch. I've seen so many amazing movies that they have. But if I had seen their posters on this app, I wouldn't watch them.

I am really enjoying MUBI. The app itself gets the job done but has a very limited feature set. I see myself having to switchback and forward between the app and the responsive web page - which is slightly annoying.

The content might be good but the app is barely functional. There's no way to filter the movies by languages and no categories, some movies are listed in the app but they're not authorized in the location of the user, so the only way to figure this out is to try to start watching it and get disappointed. I've spent 20 minutes trying to find a movie in a language that I understand but failed -_-

UPDATE ... .I used to have buffering issues on laptop .I was on free trial but now have subscribed. Watching some great movies lately ( having eventually bought a smart tv) with no buffering issues using " Chromecast" . ( therefore Updated rating to 5 stars ) Mubi go is a good idea .seems to be having teething problems according to some reviews. I don't live near a cinema anyhow .Not sure if small one in nearest town(15 miles) would show the film's on mubi go but if so would go.

Sign-up Process is horrible, I sign up and subscribed. Money was debited and then they said confirmation email send to your email address please confirm, confirmation email came, while I am trying to confirming my account they said there's no account with this email address. Now, after subscription ended they are going to debit Money from bank account. Thank God in my bank account there's insufficient money there's to debit for the subscription.

I doesn't work well on chromecast. Everytime I try to watch a movie it stops on the middle and starts to buffer. There are only a few hours in the day that it works well, generally in the morning....

These guys don't know the slightest about website/app design. The user's gotta play hide & seek to see what's screening. There's no good old list of the 30 (or however many) available films at any given time. Self-flagellation of hipster design or when you use your tool to think, not your mind. Edit: Thank you for your reply. I feel better about the user experience now.

Update#2: Welcome to the Mubi app, staring Error #11. Just watched a 3 hour movie in 5 hours due to constant buffering, which is common for this app. Ultimately decided to cancel the service because it's just too painful to watch movies 5 minutes at a time. PLEASE fix this, and I'll gladly rejoin.
