This is a nice idea but * Too hard to pick apps (without search or good app picker mode) * App from work profiles are not being surfaced. Without which the main usecase of this app is lost.

Loving the experience so far! It has a minimalist feel to it. I've had no issues creating multiple modes, but if I set one based on location and another on time, I'm not sure which takes precedence. Doesn't do a great job of switching back if I go to All. So far, so good. I think I will keep it on. 10/25/19 update: I quit Morph, and it erased all of my saved modes. Not looking forward to recreating them. They should be saved.

I've been looking for functionality like this - to be able to set up launcher modes for different times of day to restrict (or reduce) app access. But I can't figure out how to enable phone calling -- I've looked all through the icons and can't find my actual phone. Would be nice to be able to search for apps to add to each mode instead of having to scroll alphabetically, without app names, when the icons aren't super helpful.

Great idea, poor execution. The usable launcher area is too small, resulting in app icons that are uncomfortably small and too few apps per page. But the deal breaker is that the swipe up to switch modes gesture seems to be broken, so I am stuck in whichever mode I choose. There isn't even a send feedback option (that I could find). When you fix those issues, please let me know so I can try again.

This app reminds me of a discontinued app, CoverScreen, which selected apps as one used them in specific settings. Over time, it learned well, and was quite useful. Morph is not as fully developed as Cover was at its best. Selection of apps is tedious, and one mistake in touching the display erases all of them, necessitating starting all over again. I was unable to switch between the two locations. I'll uninstall for now, but keep an eye on its progress.

WARNING: This app caused me to miss phone calls/voicemails for nearly a year. After I initially tested it out, it wasn't really for me, and I intended to turn off the app. Apparently it was in the background silencing phone calls and notifications. I even did a reset of the phone, and called my phone manufacturer to address. I didn't figure it out until I got a new Pixel, and saw a warning in notification settings "Morph app may be silencing notifications" (this warning was not shown on my previous phone). Be careful - if you're not deliberately using the app, it could really mess you up, especially if you're not using a Pixel.

I like the idea and the concept but i added a new app to my phone after starting morph and it didn't show up in the list of all apps.

I have discovered that Morph may be blocking some notifications even when set to "all" mode. For example, sign in security alerts for my Google account from Google Play Services are not displaying. I will spend this morning setting up Do Not Disturb to mirror Morph's techniques as close as possible... I still hold that this app is extremely good at what it does. I will also periodically check the app for updates, and hope it becomes more capable by getting built into the OS.

Good concept but half baked. I like the minimalist feel but all the good is eclipsed by the bugs (switching is not responsive enough) and the lack of basic features like sorting or quick search. I'm really wanting to look the other way and like the app but it is hard when it actually steps in between you and whatever you want to use on your phone

Three starts for a really, really good idea but minus two for poor execution. This shouldn't be either/or situation. I'd love to see an option to turn the app on automatically when I'm at, say, work or when it's late but otherwise to use my default launcher. Now it seems to require manual switching between launchers. Since I have zero self control I would probably keep using the default launcher all the time.
