No where near as good as Google Photos, but mostly fine. Biggest feature request I have is, since facial recognition isn't super great, to be able to tag photos as having people. Currently, the only way to tag is to see which faces the app pulled out on its own. If the app doesn't recognize a photo as having a face, you can't tag anyone in that photo.

Wanted: Experience Android Developer, applications to Synology Inc. Synology are another in a long line that used to be great but have become victim of the "profit at all costs" American 'value'. Moments is just another in a string of badly implemented apps from Synology which fills a void that wouldn't exist if one of their other apps worked correctly. Moments, DSCloud, Drive or Photos, none of them work properly and none make the principle point of owning a NAS, simplicity, a reality.

Backups stop for unknown reasons. To restart uploads i go into setting >custom backup folders> then unchecked and rechecked those locations again. It feels like QA team didnt do much testing of their app... basic/primary functionality is not working well. Update: after couple months of use i see that backup is not working. Once in a while a notification would pop up saying "backup in progress", but nothing actually happens. Uninstalling the app.

The app doesn't show all the thumbnails of my photos. Only here and there a thumbnail is visible. I've tried to refresh it but it doesn't work.

I gave up the google photos, instead I use moments. Main thing - it does backup my photos. Also recognize faces and sort photos by theme, place, etc.

I bought your machine for photos archive, but I couldn't use it properly. Software is awful. You don't need to invent a bicycle just do the same like Google photo, everyone from Android is comparing them with analogs. I'm really disappointed.

Does work with "gallery" on Android... So I have to use file system... When I do i hit select files and nothing happens... They need to follow qnapa lead on all their apps... It's too complicated and nothing works... I don't want to have to put things in order for you... You should copy said folder to the same folder on my NAS. no editing folders or moving things around. Keep it simple.

Forced analytics. I disabled it for a reason in the past. Why are you taking that freedom away? It immediately smells suspicious.

"Free up space" function doesn't work. After I click Clear and the spinner disappears the backed up photos are still there on my phone

BUGS: * The photos dirs to backup are randomly displayed * The backup configuration is inactivated/reset often so NO BACKUP - An app to do automatically photo backup that inactive automaticaly backup is big problem! Same probleme on S7 and S10 BAD: * shared albu need to be changed in setting. Horizontal scroll would be more efficient
