By far the best way to enter the country. You can finish your CBP declaration before you deboard the plane (I do it while the plane lands and taxi to the gate), when finished while everyone is running to the CBP terminals, or the global entry ones I am already moving on and past the Border Control. I'm usually among the first 5 to get to the baggage area. I will not fly without this app, paying the premium allows you to save your passport and save more time, definitely worth it, kudos 👏

I'm not sure if it's because many people have not started traveling yet but using mobile passport was so fast and easy. Before leaving my international location, I opened the app and started the process to the end and after I landed I hit submit and was ready with my customs info before I even got off the plane. It was a pretty crowded travel day so I was prepared for the worse. I was directed to the mobile passport lane and was out in less than 5 minutes . No paperwork, no pins, no stress..

Wasn't very helpful. Saved no time. Denver International had signs advertising Mobile Passport lines, but then they just put those of us who had it in the line with everyone else. When I got the the immigration agent and asked him if we could use it he said, "No. Just give me your passport." Wasn't worth the money I spent for the app.

Free Version - 4hr Time Limit Too Short It's a helpful app but the time limit is too short for free version. Put my data in at airport before leaving, and it is not there on landing 4.5 hrs later. That was unpleasant surprise. Understand you are trying to sell subscriptions, but at landing I was unwilling to enter all info again.

Can't really rate this app because in my case it was useless. Upon arrival with international flight to Dallas Fort Worth airport I entered all required info into the app. There were very few people in line with Mobile Passport sign, but apparently officials were not ready to deal with it. I was asked for my passport with all usual questions to follow. Although app looks well thought through, it seems useless at this point.

I filled out all the information to enter PHX from Mexico, and I still had to wait in the line for the kiosks. When I got to to an agent, he showed no interest in the app or its QR codes, only our passports. Not sure how supported the app is at this point. Update 11/18/21 Entering Fort Lauderdale, the only thing the app saved was ink, since no agent or kiosk requested to view the app.

Unlike another user reported, it worked at JFK as of 9/29/21. Probably user error, I've used this multiple times over the last two years when entering through JFK. Overall the app works, which is all I need it to do. I'm using the free version for the record, because I'm cheap. It's simple, when the aircraft lands and we're taxing to the gate I open the app, fill out all of the info, and submit it before disembarking. By the time I walk up to customs they have my info ready to go.

App works great if someone is there to accept and service your declaration. Arrived in Newark from Madrid. Filled out my form and submitted while arriving at the gate. Went to CBP and to empty Mobile Passport queue. Am told that the agent has stepped out for awhile and I will have to use the regular line...and I am given a blank customs form. Get up to the booth and I fill out the form right there in front of the agent and all the people waiting in line. It took longer and held up the line. Bad.

I was alerted to the app while standing in very long Customs line at JFK airport. I stumbled through the free app to populate my travelers passport info and answer the standard Customs questionaire. I competed the info and then moved over to the near empty mobile passport line. This app definitely saved me consider time. I wish I had I known about it before entering Customs.

I was advised by a friend who took the same flight as me a day earlier to download this app before flying. Sure enough, while hundreds of people were waiting in line at customs, I was first in line in the mobile passport line. I'm sure this scenario will be short lived, but it is still a more time efficient tool for US CBP and should shorten overall wait times across the board. 👍
