Bought the 798 and A50 (low light rear cam) and disappointed I can't view the A50 with the App. Also with the motion sensing there is no notification (Can't tell if someone is snooping around your car or if someone hits it), very minimal controls with the app (Can't start and stop recording. Wish I would have researched better to find a camera/'s for my needs. Very disappointing to say the least Forgot to add there is no backup battery built in if you need to remove it from your vehicle

Hint from Mio developers: "For faster downloading, close other running APP, blue tooth and hotspot sharing." This doesn't work. I did it all but downloading speed over Wi-Fi is terrible, less 1 MB/sec. And horrible response from Mio support: "The options that you are looking for are not featured on the Mio. If you have issues with the Wifi, we suggest that you try the direct connection option. If you do not wish to use this option, there is nothing else that we can propose. Mitac Support"

When I first read the comments I was terrified that I made a bad purchase. Went ahead, installed the dashcam in the car and downloaded the app. I could perfectly pair the phone and the cam right away. Everything works perfectly fine. People complaining about the download speed, buy a sd card reader (sd to usb) and just remove the card when you want to download your clips. You're welcome. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the amount of acces the app requires to personal data unnecessary.

It NEEDS permission to read your call log and sms which is extremely unnecessary. Why they need this for my dashcam is a huge redflag. There is literally no reason for this. You cannot use the app at all unless you allow this permission. So forget about being able to update your dashcam unless you allow them to read your text messages. Im returning my dashcam and buying a different brand.

Of course the WIFI is switched ON, how silly do you think I am?! 🤔 I have uninstalled, wiped everything from my phone to do with it and reinstalled many times- no other phone is connected to the dashcam. Surprise surprise- still won't connect to my phone! Support section of your website isn't helpful either! So pointless replying with the link- Again! Rubbish App!!

What's new reads "Bug fix" only.After update the paired camera is gone and the settings too.Camera firmware as if it was from early 90's resets settings after every update.Warns of non existent speed cameras an doesn't of actually existing ones.Last but not least-the camera is bulky and the charger could have a USB outlet or two.In general,there is a lot room for improvement.Will buy other dashcam next time.An expensive disappointment.

Spent over 2 hours downloading at painfully slow speed about 30 videos. When i tried to find them on S9+ there was only one available. Poor documentation to say the least.

Will not download videos to phone, yes I am using mivue wifi and I am selecting individual videos to download. How long does it need to be connected?
