I like that it only has the radicals from RTK, so you can create stories by yourself without the book specific stories for the first section. My only problem is that the stroke animation is completely glitched. So, learning/reviewing the kanji through the app is completely pointless because you can't remember the how the kanji looks/is drawn, which is half of RTK's point

Poor experience, the app crashes randomly EDIT: Ok, thanks for the reply and the update, I can't reproduce the error anymore, at least not with the same frequency it used to happen. It's a shame I don't use the app anymore that much. Will leave the suggestion here, have you considered providing a way to export the cards to an anki card? I've moved my studies to anki because I like the revision system they provide :D

Great app. Unfortunately it crashes when reading certain Kanji characters such as fortune-telling or smash. Update: The issue has been fixed in the last update. Thanks a lot!!

Almost as good as hoped, I would have appreciated it even more if it had had multiple languages to match the book's translations (in my case, Italian). Definitely something I would recommend!!!

Almost good. I need it to include a spaced relation system where it brings up the key words at and wants you to draw the relevant Kanji, then if you mark it as correct that will bring it up again less often, and if incorrect it will bring it up more often.

Good app. Would be nice to have an option to train multiple chapters together.

  7. Christopher Disbrow-avatar

The practice mode goes from kanji to key word. The book it's based on says to exclusively practice by going from key word to kanji. It's... backwards.

Crashing all the time now. Really needs an update this has potential but it's getting infuriating.

This app is very effective for learning the individual parts of Kanji.
