This is my favorite way to relax. I just wish you would fix the glitch that causes the game to start, go to commercial immediately then shut down. This repeats to often. Well it is now a few weeks or months since this glitch problem started. Today I have tried all five challenges and all I get is a start for the ad then just back to start page. This happens with every game.

Nice rendition of the classic pc solitaire game, plenty of customisation for the cards and a challenge mode. The big drawback, is that the tournament which matches your clear time against other people, is RIFE with cheaters with no way to report them. People completing the tournament in impossible times. Which makes that game mode pointless to play. Considering the the tournament is the most variety once you've completed a lot of other things, this is a big problem.

Getting worse 😫 I've been playing this for years, with premium subscription. Sometimes when I click on the app, it shows me signed in, but not as premium. It wants me to watch ads. I have to jump through all kinds of hoops to make it work right again. This happened with my old Tab S3 and now my new Tab S7. Looking for something new. UPDATE: I Lowered my rating from 3 to 1 stars. You would think a company like MICROSOFT would be able to make a reliable game app!

Ads become increasingly frequent and longer in duration as higher level play is achieved. 20 and 30 second ads and eventually ads without a time limit forcing you to exit the game and start over. I will now be deleting the app, after reaching level 520, in search of an app that doesn't require advertisement time equal to play time.

As far as solitare goes, this app can deliver. I haven't had any issues with the gameplay so far. But the customization absolutely sucks. Which is why I'm giving four stars. When making a custom back for cards, there is an annoying white border that is impossible to get rid of that ruins almost every image I try to use. And with the "Add Images to Cards" function it only lets you place the image on one spot on the card. This customizable system used to be good, but has since been ruined.

Problem has not improved! Now ads must be seen in order to start the game. After watching Blockoduku 10 times, the game won't open BUT all that ad time counts towards the game time! Once finally playing, all the time watching ads that did not open the game counts towards the puzzle solving time. Please fix!!!!!!! It does not takes hours to play a single game!

I loved this collection but after not being able to connect for five days I uninstall and re jnstalled to find it had completely changed. You now get three sets for each card game and it doesn't say if its easy, hard expert etc. The ads are so frustrating, you click on start, ad you then click on one of three games, ad, and on it goes. Also, before having to uninstall it kept signing me in as a some else. Microsoft, stop messing with these games and bring back the old collection, please.

Microsoft Solitare Collection gives you 5 different types of games to challenge and sometimes frustrate your skills. With daily challenge boards, cumulative awards and 4 skill levels to choose from you can easily spend hours without getting bored. Highly addictive to the dedicated solitare fan! One complaint is with the ads which appear before starting some games. I don't mind watching these in order to pay for free play but sometimes they don't start correctly - consequently neither can I!

In grandmaster... How can you complete if you will not find a card in deck... Required card... Like in treepeek and so on.... For making grandmaster level impossible game do no provide you a required card..... Means...you are in playing good but one card is missing.... Shuffle is worst in grandmaster level.... They made it impossible for removing required cards from deck

Good fun, lots of variety in level of challenge. Just one downside though: if you want to get competitive about it I suggest you don't bother. The program adds time to your actual time, both when it is a bit slow to record your time on the server and when you have stopped playing for a while to do something else and it keeps the clock running. I keep hoping they will fix it but they haven't yet. November 21 - they still haven't fixed it.
