I just clicked it on then this review came up right away so I have literally only used it for 1 second so I give it a 5 star for the fact I clicked the button and the button says blocked now if its working I have no clue have not had it long enough to know so give it a week or so then perhaps I will and can come and give an actual rating.i just hate when apps ask you to rate them before you even have time to test out there app to me it says the app wont work at least that's been my experience

It works, better than others I've tried, but not all of the time, on Samsung note 8. In order to work, the app needs to actually stay open. If I do close all apps, the mic starts listening again. It's not like a service that works in the background. I've also been experiencing issues with YouTube playing sound in the ear speaker rather than the phone loudspeaker when the app is active, so I need to stop the app to be able to hear the videos' sound. App is also shown as high power consumer.

After using app for few days I noticed that microphone was unblocked. I tried to block it again, but was denied. Instead, I was given message that microphone app will not work at night between 6pm and 10am, unless I paid a $6.99 extortion fee immediately. I had to stop what I was doing to uninstall the app and find another. Very rude, and disrupted my evening, as I am now late. I hate apps that do this. I did not see any indication that they were going to charge me. It stated it was free. There was no warning to do what they did. I now found a good app. Up-front with everything. No surprises. No hidden agenda to extort unfair price and leave us without protection.

I can personally say this is one app you can trust if you close the mic the Mike will not open unless you open it unlike other apps when you check to see if your mic is secure you will find out that is not knowing you secured it so I got to say this one works📢

Easy to use. I first time using it. Trying to find out what almostnative is in the certificates (I think). Also apache needs a author and copy write in the terms and conditions.

rating not relevant. Here's a suggestion: why not consolidate both the microphone and camera block? hit in one click, block both at once plus I think it MIGHT save you some trouble also MIGHT open space for you. Think of doing this not for the free app, but for instead the pro. version in which it requires purchase. If you wish an extra action might be combine the prices of the two apps.

Really good app, but not perfect. It would be great if I were able to select how long to turn off the blocker, to select which apps are able to use mic and or when...such as only when I manually push microphone button preferably. And one last minor but laughable thing.. All the Danger/Risks I had was this app using the microphone. Lol. Otherwise, I believe the app does what it says it will do. And I do like it, but I especially want to turn it off for a while without needing to uninstall.
