Wonderful app, Been using it for years. Recommend it. Giving one star because it gives me a prompt every time i open the app that says "a network connection is required for necessary updates". I have sound connection, tried wifi and other ways to access internet, nothing seems to work. Tried reinstalling, cleared cashe, nothing seems to work. Please help. Its a companion of my free time and 5 star app. It's all been happening on a new phone i bought, Xiaomi Poco F3. Please help. Thanks

I love and use this app so often. However, although I appreciate the dark mode, I do hope the issues surrounding it resolves quickly. Some texts and links are still in black so if you're not careful, you miss them. The links to meds are especially filled with bugs.

All the medical news, info, and more in one place. Warning: this app is a lot like reading a magazine that is meant to be read by doctors, nurses and other medical personnel. Some of the articles may be hard to read for some people bc of how technical they are. If you can keep up with medical phrases and jargon you'll love this app.

Dear medscape team please fix App unusable any more. Message keep showing "a network connection is required to perform necessary updates" on the home screen, although i have a strong internet connection, my other phone showing this also. This message is preventing any interaction with app. Thanks

No longer works. I used it extensively and even deleted and reinstalled to NO avail. Only states in a white box: Update Required A Network Connection is required to perform necessary updates. You cannot access this app at all. Please fix this. Thank you so much.

Dear Medscape team, please fix the app, whenever I open the app, there is pop up message that it "requires internet connection for update" , though there is full network and it doesn't allow any further interaction.

"Service Unavailable"???? Nothing like completing a CE course from an email that launches the app - only to get a "service unavailable" message as soon as you submit the CE questions!! Received a response asking if I am using the "Medscape CME app or the core Medcape app.". Apparently I should be using the CME app however I cannot find any app other than the "core" Medscape app on Google Play.

night/black mode is really good, but please change its colour of the hyperlink text (esp. in medication corner of disease), because that black text couldn't be seen in night/black mode
