Mastermind is a game of wit and reflection, it consists of hitting a secret code composed of a sequence of colors. The position of each clue does not correspond to the position of each color, that is. the clues do not add information about the position of the colors. - INITIATION: for players without experience. Options: - You can play with numbers, colors and emoticons (smileys). - Autocomplete: available for the initiation level. When a color is hit and it is in the correct position, when it moves to the next row, it appears automatically. - Repeated colors: the secret code may contain repeated colors. - Extra color: one more color. - Zoom: the row in game will appear enlarged. To move it you have to press on the number and drag. - Sound: activate or deactivate. - Autocheck: when completing a row, the combination is verified automatically. Developer tried to argue my review. This is my personal opinion and it stands. I never said the ads were obtrusive, I said there were too many and I maintain my position. When each game is so short it would be more balanced to have an ad every 3 games, not between every single one. I also did not ask about how the developers expect me to play the game for a number of colors. The default mode was difficult for me to tap the colors on my phone and I often hit the wrong space, period.

Easily my favorite version of Mastermind in the Play store. Great that the nav bar is now hidden/transparent instead of glaring white. But now dragging from the bottom row often pulls the nav bar up. Maybe just make it transparent? Also, it seems like I have to tap below the pegs to select them, rather than tapping directly on them. This is a change since the last update.

App works great, I don't understand the negative reviews. I am running the game on a phone that's about 5 years old... No problems whatsoever. Each round takes about 3-6 minutes with a 2 to 5 second advertisement between. Not bad at all. Thank you for not inundating us with so many ads that we are forced to delete the game. Great Job. Thank You!

Brought back wonderful memories. I have two queries though. 1. Is there a paid version without advertisements? 2. We used to allow blanks as an additional colour. Is that available? More for old times sake. I know that I can add a colour and achieve the same. Pretty close to the board version in terms of look and feel. Wonderful! Keep it up.

Great game. Lots of different levels and difficulty settings. Beat them all in a few months. Easy to use. A tutorial would serve this game well. I didn't need one because I knew about Mastermind from my childhood, but some may. Wish it had a secret level 10 that unlocks when you beat the 50+ ways to play.

I *really* like this classic game and the new variations it adds. I tried a couple other Mastermind apps but they come nowhere near what this one provides. For some reason the calibration is a bit off for the pegs on the right on my Galaxy S10 phone, but worth a bit of adjustment. (It works great on my Galaxy Tab S2 tablet.)

A decent game but it tries to behave too much like the physical version. There is no reason to have the only way to delete a pin to drag it back. Why can't I just double tap it. Why can't I select a color and put it in multiple slots. Game needs to realize it's a mobile game and take advantage of that.

Very good. Works well, no problems. Just like the real game. If I had on one criticism it would be the Orange & Red are too close in colour. Hard on people with poor vision.

Gameplay is great, ad placement is fine. No annoying rankings or tournaments to bother you. Unfortunately, in this day and age, the lack of network play with friends (or a random person) is almost unacceptable for a game that was never meant to be solo.

Blast from the past! Loved my travel set from the 70's. Gave it my best bud when we graduated in'79. Didnt miss him, much. Almost paid 45 bucks for a used set on Ebay. Your beginner mode is what I fell in love with. Working my way up. Havent lost my touch. Owe you for that one.
