Reviews From google play store

I really don't like the response times in this app. Is this a native app or PWA? When I go running, I want to be able to switch to walk IMMEDIATELY from running. I have to first wait for the summary, then go back, then click into the menu to change the activity. Sometimes that takes 10 seconds or more to load. I wish that either the menu were cached for instant display or there were a way to choose two activities and toggle between them, with the toggle invoking an immediate save of the previous

Hoping custoner support can help, perhaps someone here can. My smartphone recognizes my wahoo cadence sensor and indicates connected. However, when I ride, the main screen will not display or record cadence. My speed is never accurate while riding but does correctly display everage in the ride summary. Otherwise, love the price and other features.

I love MapMyFitness and its siblings. You only need one of them MapMyFitness or a more tailored interface for say running, MapMyRun or cycling MapMyRide but MapMyFitness does it all. I use MayMyFitness for my morning workout and MapMyRun for my running simply because that way I don't even need to change any settings to tell the app what type of activity I am performing. The integration with MyFitnessPal for tracking food intake gives you a Complete picture of you calories in / burned. As for accuracy, I think that's more to do with what equipment you use, I use my Pixel 2 GPS for running with MyZone Heart Rate Monitor and have no issues Would be nice if I could use it to track miles for pairs of running shoes.

First time using this and its OK, but it managed to completely miss about half a km on my walk because it randomly stopped tracking my location, then about 5mins later tracked me about 500m away from where I actually was :/ So tracking isn't great, the user interface is a little clumsy, I gave up trying to add friends, and I can't find a way to change the units. All said and done I prefer to use the Huawei health app

The distance just randomly resets during a workout. It will also randomly stop tracking your location. The features of the app are nice, but kind of defeats purpose of this app if it doesn't accurately track your location or distance. I've reached out to customer support, received suggestions but no improvement.

I like that i can log any type of workout, but it is unclear when trying to log different exercises (some times goes by different names than I use and doesnt decribe what they are), and i cant log anything specific from a workout like P90X.

I like the app and feel like it is fairly accurate in distance and time but have difficulty getting the screen I want to see to come up. I would like a screen setting button to choose the numbers displayed.

Ugh. Half the time it doesn't log anything. I turn location on and WiFi off, it gives me duration and calories burned for my walk but nothing else. I'm uninstaling.

I've only used the app a day due to new smart trainers and so far it seems fine I'm looking forward to exploring the app more in the next few weeks and seeing how it stacks up to other apps I'm using.

Plotted a route on the website and sent it to my phone. Sounded great, however it didn't track the distance properly.

Awesome but...elevation does not always get recorded at higher elevations. Other than that, awesome.

I find this app very easy to use for myself and what I use it for which is keeping a note of all my walks. I think it can be used for other uses but is more than adequate for me

Every time I start a workout I put the phone in my pocket and it records zero distance and fails to map my workout. It's just a glorified timer at this point

I like Map My Fitness. It keeps acturate record of my dog walks and is one of the few apps I have seen that let me designate a walk as a such.

Excellent and easy way to track and hold your own feet to the fire. I enjoy viewing my routes, distance , time and elevation!

It monitors exercise progress better than you can without adding another device to your person, so... pretty good.

This app is exceptional at tracking my work outs, I am well pleased! Edit: still as happy with this app! Even that it hepls build fitness points :)

Great app I use it all the time. However don't like the fact that it only gives me speed/distance updates every mile now rather than every km, a change which happened spontaneously one day 🤔🤔 hence 4 not 5 stars. Like the fact that I can share run data, if I choose to, with running buddies. It records all types of exercise workouts not just running and you can manually input a workout if you forget your device or you swim, for instance.

Yet another crappy bloated app I had such high hopes, but this is a bloated app that fails to do some of the basic Things an exercise app ought to do. For example, I should be able to track my mountain bike, running, or hiking activity, then hit save, and then be able to see how far I went. However despite being able to see the 20 mile activity I just did. There is absolutely no record of it. Dont waste your time with this one. Just downloaded Strava.

The feedback that this app has given me, based on my connected HOVR footwear, has been very helpful in correcting my running.

Smooth Running App. I'm not a high mileage person, but I still enjoy the challenges. I use them to motivate me when I don't want to get up and get moving. I don't use the auto stop feature because I end up losing a good quarter mile. Other wise an overall good tracker. (Update) The updated dashboard gives good info. I'm not training for a race, but I can see how the stats on pace for each mile would come in handy.

The bugs in this app are so ridiculous right now. No ability to change the activity for the past week. Four days ago i did a run. No problem selecting run. For the past four days, if i select bike ride, hike, walk, dog walk any specific activity, app is unresponsive. About 6 - 9 months ago, the app had had your four most selected activities at the top the activity selection page. PLEASE bring it back or fix the app. Ive been using this app for over three years and it has NEVER been this bad. Ty

I don't recommend this app whatsoever, it is the worst app to track and keep record of miles: some times it shows the path in the map but not able to record the miles showing 0.0. Other times seems to "reset" while workingout and loses track of all previous distance. I have to end up recording manually an estimation of the miles done. I do all workouts in Central London, always have good signal and connectivity. I will uninstall it and use another app.

It is a horrible resource hog and kills performance on everything including itself while running. It doesn't have any automatic detection of when you stop or start any kind of exercise, like going on a walk and getting back home. If you forget to manually stop it, it'll show you've been "exercising" for 12+ hours when you wake up in the morning. It is at least functional, though.

Excellent program, maps your treks, gives you ball park figures on mileage, calories burned, pace/minutes per mile and much more. Great for keeping track of your activities, it keeps a log of your activities linked to your sign in account. Many activity settings, I generally only use walk, general hike or walk/power-walk though. I recommend this app for anyone who likes to be active and/or fit. Note to developer, add kayak to activity choices, if possible. Map my Kayak?

It would be nice if it could track all your steps not only if you press start.

I like the UA "Map My ..." aps, but have had no luck getting them to interact with each other. They all say they're connected, but there's no interaction (i.e., workout on map my fitness does not download to my fitness pal), requiring me to manual insert the info. My Garmin Connect dataa would automatically show up in MFP. Very disappointing.

This app used to be good. Alas no more. It rarely acquires satellites whilst standing in the middle of an open field. recent updates have removed a reliable exercise tracker/logger that now often refutes a gps presence. Flakey and useless. Better to log with viewranger, export gpx and import via the website. Where is the point? I feel completely let down by Under Armor's software developers.

Wish they had mile markers for runs, like other apps. Wish the design was more modern like Strava or Nike run club. Wish the share functionality was better for sharing outside the app, e.g. a more detailed summary with the pic view. Wish you could view more trends like you do on desktop. Wish there was less clutter when you open the app and a faster way to get to the dashboard/workouts/training view. I like that you don't have to just run, can log other activities. And the Googlefit integration.

I have tried lots of other apps. This is just what I was looking for can't speak highly enough of it. It not only maps out your walk tells you the distance you walked and how many calories you burned once you complete your walk. Thank you very much for making this app. Fitness apps are a life saver really make a difference in my life.

Very good and fully compatible with Endomondo, Strava, Samsung Health, Google Fit, etc.

Awsome. I like that it tells me my milage & pace/time as I'm going. Great job!

The app works well & love that I can take photos along the way & this shows on the tracking map. Had issues at the beginning of using it but was fixed as soon as I reported it so no complaints here.

It keeps crashing after I input log a workout. When i try to open the app again later in the day to compare workouts or even on a different day, it goes straight to the take a picture over and over again. I've rebooted my phone and reinstalled the app 3 times. Same results. (Samsung note 9)

Update has created new issues. The app is no longer syncing my walks with My Fitness Pal. When I try to view my activity in the Map My fitness app. The entire app freezes. This is a first for me. The app usually never gives me problems. This is a poor update.

This app is so helpful at tracking your distance. It is nice to look back at your journey. The map is great for seeing the different routes that you have completed. It is useful to know your time too so you can continue to improve your time on each run.

Love this app. Great for outdoor and indoor running or walking

Good tool the weekly summary is very helpful to use for planning the next series of workouts

Use for recording paddling & hiking activities. So far it seems to be more reliable than AllTrails. I am not a power type user. I just want to start an activity, not have any gps cut outs and my time, distance and route be reasonably accurate. Seems to do this.

I love that this app shows me how far I've gone. Sure beats driving a course in a car to get mileage. Fun to leaf through others public posts and see what they're doing and where in the world they are. Pictures have been improved so you can add them more easily.

Accurate tracking and multiple options for tracking exercises

Just worked. Need to use it more to test its accuracy.

It worked well except it kept turning to pause, which made me have to turn it back on. I loved that it kept track of where I went and the minimum and maximum pace I was at.

I changed it from 5 stars to 4 because the app doesn't support the gear tracker that the website does. I can still log a workout on the app, but then I have to go to the website to add my gear to that workout.

Good recording. Accurate. Keeps a good record.

This app has shown exceptional accuracy. I appreciate that it recognizes changes in terrain and am particularly pleased with its connection to My Fitness Pal so that it automatically downloads my workout information.

Only thing I would change is yhat the app doesn't differentiate between walking and riding. I have forgotten a couple times and my workout stats were useless. Or pause workout when you stop walking like my Samsung watch.

The app is not bad, but it has so many bugs in it, and they never get fixed. Also with time new bugs are added. I would tried paying for it, but I stopped, since they are not fixing the bugs.

Its very easy to install and setup. I did my profile in less than 5 min then started mt walk. It tracked my route and the duration till I finished. Plus it gives you how many calories your burning to the second. Great app!

I have used this app for years. It is like keeping a running diary. It is a support that keeps me going. Why am i getting miles notifications now? Brexit effect? No thanks!

Great app but slightly inconsistant on distances. I use the same route often and the distance measure will vary. Update they have made some changes and the distances seem much more consistant!!

I love this app! Tracks how many calories I've burned and syncs with my fitness pal and automatically adds those calories back into my daily allowance. Also love that i can add a photo to remember where I've been.

Great, but sometimes the distances aren't that accurate, for example, I'll run 5 miles one day while the next time I run the same route it's 4.45 miles.

My map my fitness app stopped working correctly after most recent update. Tried numerous fixes ..reboot, deleted cache, etc. to no avail. I had to uninstall and reinstall to fix. This is one reason why I never set apps to auto update.

Great app, keeps me on track and focused on my health/fitness goals. Since getting the app I have seen improvements in my body composition.

app is set for auto pause, keeps stopping and then does not resume upon movement, last workout only measured little more than half of distance. this sucks SIX MOS LATER AFTER SEVERAL UPDATES, NOW APP STOPS IN MID WORKOUT DOES NOT RESUME, DOES NOT RECORD PROPER DISTANCE

So far so good. The app connects with my smartwatch and other fitness apps. I'm still figuring out how to add new exercises to the app. Good fitness app so far.

Great app, perfect for me as a runner.

I would prefer the pause to initiate quicker. The mobile app ciupd be more robust, like the desktop. overall, i think it is a great app.

App keeps losing GPS, even while other apps running simultaneously do not. About 80% of the time, this app records my 10 mile rides as 2 miles or less.

Had to accept defeat and downgrade my review. I like the features of this app, but every time Android is upgraded the app stops working correctly. Getting very fed up now.

It has worked great but drains battery life.

So far I'm enjoying this app, it seems to be much better than most apps that I've tried before, I'm loving it!

Accurate, easy to use and love the option to pick different activities (biking, running, walking, etc).

Best app for tracking my runs and journal my experiences. It is very reliable and accurate. I never run without it!

It's good app, but won't sync with MyFitnessPal app

Love this app. Makes everything so easy! No stupid watch to wear lol

Love the mapping and reporting to my HSA app.

Great app for recording anything you do, walking, running, bike riding, etc.

Started using app but with no support for samsung devices was hard, now it has been updated to include samsung devices it is an awesome app that works well with other apps....

love to be able to track other physical activity besides walking, running, exercises... & can edit exactly what your doing to be active. just wish I could connect my other apps.

Very user friendly. There are a few odd ball exercise I can't figure out how to log or I'd give it 5 stars

App has become completely unusable the last couple of days. Won't save any data, now I can't even log in.

Best app ever but the music on the android isn't controlled by app, unless I'm just an idiot 😂😂

I use this app all of the time. The training programs are the best. They are customizable and challenging. If you run you need this app.

Great app i think it logs very well, and helps me keep track of my routines and days of my workout.

Really like this app. It's easy to use. Just enough for doing a nice walk in the morning.

Love the GPS tracking and real time voice in the background while I have other apps open!

Still learning all the features. Love the tracking while cycling.

Works fine. Really like the weekly summries.

The app helps me track the basic workout for free and without upgrade. Will consider upgrade as my workouts become strenuous.

Almost as good as having a fitness watch but much cheaper. Great for starters.

Easy, helpful and fun! Connects to My Fitness Pal for easy calorie tracking. Just great

Love the app! Lots of workout options and the gps seems to be spot on. Syncs with Myfitnesspal also! Love it!

Won't even let me sign in. It creates a loop where you keep registering and can't even use the app.

Great distance and pace tracker. If I had a heart rate monitor or smart shoes out would be amazing

Really loving these Under Armour apps, helps me keep track of things

Ads are a little annoying, but otherwise a useful app!

GPS is messing up dont know if it's my phone where I'm running or the app

It's really helpful my boyfriend told me that used this application I downloaded then I'm satisfied thanks MapMyfitness

I really like how it announces the distance and calories used! Thanks

Love the functionality of the app and ease of use! It with the myfitness pal app is all I need

pretty darn good GPS also nice to track different types of bicycling.

App drops gps often. can't set up different settings for different activities.

Always works great, providing good tracking with reasonable battery impact. Decent challenges too.

Love it, when it works properly!

Good app but does not really pick up crossfit accurately. Does not match what my fitbit says

great for both cycling and walking. use it to improve my pace

It aloud me to keep up on my run and walks . Exercises. Really enjoy map my fitness,

Great tool and easy to use!
