- New lesson: "Premature Resignations in the Endgame"

Well-structured tutelage suitable for beginners as well as intermediate level players. I found it immensely instructive and entertaining. In my assessment, it may perhaps be useful even for advanced/expert level players. Suggestion: each of the lessons should have a slider or other navigation tool that indicates the start of, end of, and current progression through that lesson.

You will definitely learn more about chess and improve your game if you study all the lessons in this app. There is plenty of material, the tone is light, and it's easy to follow with interactive questions in the lessons. For a subscription service however, there are remarkably few app improvements or material updates.

The visual and appearance is very nice. It explains the basic moves quite easily to understand. I only give 2 stars because the free version isn't quite useful and I don't think it's worth the subscription. The mini games give a false sense of achievement and improvement. Although they look nice and may help with chess, most aren't essential. It's a game which forces you to buy a subscription if you actually want to get "something" from the app. I learnt better from kid's chessbooks tbh :/.

Nice progression of tutorials mixed with training games. I've been playing for several weeks and even found it was worth it to get the paid version.

I love the app, it's just that it started crushing on start - up.. I'll update the ratings as soon as this bug gets fixed considering that I've got a monthly subscription paid

It's very good but it quickly becomes pay to play. Many important parts of the app are either undeveloped or behind a paywall. When you ask the app to tell you the solution, it bug and you cannot continue.

Well...this the best chess app out there...along with Play Magnus app...like seriously...Rs.170 a month is very very affordable for someone like me...and also...Rs.200 a month for Play Magnus app...its like Rs.370 per month...and you can get your rating up to 2000...no ads...and the app doesn't even ask you to actually rate it on the Play store...idk why everyone is giving low rating...lol..and not even a single ad on this app....truly world champion shows his class here ❤❤ love from India

Constantly finding that nearly everything is locked until you pay the monthly subscription fee. I felt there was so little available to try that I didn't even want to consider paying subscription fees

The app eases you into concepts gradually, and I've been learning a lot. But I wish there were something to improve my ability to predict ahead. Interspersed within the lessons are little games, and I hate most of them. They do well at corresponding to the lessons and progressing gradually, but the problem is how childish they are. I'd prefer not to feel like I'm being treated like a preschooler. I'm sure there are ways to apply the knowledge without patronizing the user. 5 stars otherwise.

Great app, a lot very insightful ideas collected together. I was able to reach my top lichess rating from 2 years ago and exceed it by 50 points (about 1800 now) after doing one lesson every day. It does not go into great detail but it gives an overview of many openings, strategies and tactics. Exactly what is needed for an intermediate player like me. I found the free version pretty limited though, so I bought the subscription.
