Chapter 7 of book 3 is now available.

Disclaimer: The game is only available in English.

Magium is a D&D inspired text adventure game similar to old Choose your own story books (CYOA), in which you play as an ordinary guy named Barry, who joins a deadly mage tournament against the most powerful mages in the world in the hopes of using the prize to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a mage himself.

As in all interactive novels, your choices will affect the story, and making wrong choices can even lead to your death. Besides the traditional choice making of regular Choose your own path games, Magium also has stats that you can upgrade with points that you will receive occasionally, throughout the game. These stats will be checked by the game from time to time, to see if they are high enough to allow you to perform certain actions. For example, if your ancient languages stat is high enough, you can understand what animals and monsters are saying.

The story of Magium starts at the beginning of the tournament, right after you and all the other participants were transported to the continent where the contest was taking place, and it is set in a medieval fantasy setting, with a dash of futuristic looking magical devices, which are relics of an ancient, technologically advanced civilization that crumbled hundreds of years before the beginning of the series. The world in which the story takes place is somewhat inspired from Dungeons and Dragons, so if you've played D&D before, you will likely find some similarities, especially regarding the magic system.

As the story progresses, you will meet with other participants, you will make friends and enemies, and you will find out more about the continent you are on, and its inhabitants. You will find out that a person called "The Creator" had established several utopias in this place, six hundred years ago, where animals and humans lived in harmony, and food was created through magic. What you will get to see, however, is the downfall of these utopias, some of them being on the brink of destruction. Your choices will influence what happens in these cities, and you can even choose to save them if you so desire.

The game will be divided into six or seven books, each of them consisting of more than a hundred thousand words.

The first book is now available in its entirety, and it can be played for free. It is approximately 178k words long, which translates to about 700 book pages. This number also takes into account the story's branching paths. The length of a playthrough on average should be about 90k words, so about 350 book pages.

The second book is now available in its entirety, but the next books have not been written yet, and they will be published chapter by chapter, as I write them. Unlike the first book, the second one will need to be unlocked before it can be played, and it will be the same for the next books as well. In order to unlock the second book, you will either need to complete 25 of the 35 available achievements, or pay to unlock it. All of the next books will also be unlockable in the same way.

The second book is 277k words in total, on all paths, which translates to about 1100 book pages. On one path, you should be seeing around half of those words, so roughly 140k, which would translate to 550 book pages or so.

The game is good, the fact that is kind of different from the others that I have play so far is a plus, the story is a solid 6/10, kind of funny and entertain but fall in some cliches typical of these kind of environments, I don't like the fact that you kind of force to take only one play style that I going to reserve out of respect for fellows players that might be about to enjoy the game, but u think that I could be impruve, all had been said is a solid enjoyable game.

  2. yui massigio-avatar

Awesome! I love this game! Even if you aren't interested in text-based games, you should try this. This is an interactive story. You lead the way, and the story fills out. The story lines are amazing, the choices are perfect, and the game itself is extremely intriguing. I would definitely recommend this game to MANY MANY other people. This game is a series of storys where you influence the flow of the adventure. I usually don't rate games, but this is a definite top notch game.

  3. Harlyn Alicein-avatar

This is fantastic. The story is pretty well paced and immersing. All, if not, most of the characters are fascinating and their developments are great as well. The choices you make also directly affects the story which makes you consider your decision very well. I also love the characters' and the author's sense of humor. I absolutely recommend this game.( Side note: This is my first text based RPG and I'm glad that it is. The game is so amazing that it had me searching for others immediately. )

  4. Andrew Nicholson-avatar

This is among one of the greatest text-based games I've ever played in my life. The storyline, plot, and the unexpected twists make this game absolutely astonishing. What's more, new chapters and books are being made by the creators, so huge respects to them. I never realized just how amazing this app really is until now. Definite recommend. For the best experience, read the dialogue out loud and even with different voices to make it feel like you're in the app itself :)

  5. Thomas Davidson-avatar

For a CYOA storybook styled game, it's AWESOME, I gave it 5 stars on "gameplay" but 1 star in other categories as they dont really apply to this style of game the only graphics in this type of game are in your imagination, and the controls are simple choices you make throughout the game not actual controls. Only complaint is the inconsistency in which your character gains stat points. Other than that great game highly recommended!

  6. Tyladron-avatar

So far I absolutely adore these books, I am currently on chapter two of book three and I am very excited to read the rest of it and everything else to come with the series. It is very entertaining and doesn't stray from it's story while giving you plenty to do and enjoy! I plan on staying with the series throughout it's whole length, as so far I have yet to be dissapointed.

  7. drizzt du-avatar

4 or 5 stars, couldn't really decide. 7 chapters in and the story line is great fun - there were some pretty silly options but that's ok, i just laughed at them. what really bugs me is that i've pressed an option accidently a dozen times while i was meant to be scrolling the page! very annoying. could you maybe make small radio buttons for selection and a submit button or something similar? am i the only one this happens to?

  8. Morgan Kelly-avatar

I really enjoy the attention to detail! The party also has a lot of character. I really enjoy this game, and I can't wait until 4,5 and the prequels come out! In book three when Barry said "half the rocks are to large, and the other half are the wrong color or shape" and flower and Melinda flipped out. That was funny. this must have taken a lot of time, considering there are SO MANY OPTIONS ANDPATHS.Also,I have play pass,so there is nothing for me to buy,but I want to donate. How would I do that?

  9. Gilliam-avatar

Awesome, one of the few text adventures I would reccomend to people. As someone who enjoys fantasy and TTRPG's this is really good, it may be due to me hlgetting really immersed into things I like but rhis ia solid. Only complaint(a personal one) is that some of the choices are vauge. Other than that, 5/5.

  10. Jacob T-avatar

As enjoyable and addicting as any good game or book. It is definitely worth giving it a shot at the very least. I actually liked it so much that I chose to donate, despite not needing to to in order to access all the content, in order to support the author's great work so far.

  11. Anilekle2806-avatar

Best story I've read in a long time. The writing and the world building is just incredible and the "choose your own adventure" aspect of the whole thing gives it all the more reason to play again. Waiting for the next chapters to come in the mean time I'll just unlock all achievements! :)

  12. Ajik Balasa-avatar

I love it. The story telling is superb, and decisions must be thought upon before deciding. Some choices can mean death even if it seems inconsequential, some are useless and it matters not should you pick either one,so constantly be vigilant! The story is great, and each character is well developed. However a question has been bugging me. Can you romance Melindra? I've grown fond of her over the course of the journey, which highlights the superb way you managed to bring these characters alive.

  13. Alex Burdett-avatar

Absolutely awesome. Played through the first 6 chapters so far an I'm loving every minute of it. If you love choose your own story text based RPGs then this is the game for you. Even if it isnt your typical style give it a download because damn is it good.

  14. dip dip dip-avatar

Ive played countless games in my lifetime but this one has left a mark on my emotions, it would be sad if the book is left unfinished for some reason, i love going through the pages! But i know how hard it is constructing such marvellous storytelling so i will wait patiently.

  15. Krisztián Balog-avatar

    Krisztián Balog

I love it! Well, I couldn't put down my phone, and I have just reached chapter 11. Somethimes I feel like the story is too forgiving, or it is sometimes just have too modern elements but not bothering at all. SPOILER! I've got attached to the calm, and kind aura that Rose has given through the game so far. But I have to get some time before I reenter the game. You know what I mean dev. You know what I mean... Edit: I know, I am replaying the game because of it, haha. Anyways. The game is awsome

  16. Michael Graves-avatar

I am only on chapter 6 of book 1, but the experience so far has been great. The story is well-written (even if Tyrath DID come off like every hack villain ever), the characters are unique, the choices feel like they matter, the gameplay doesn't feel too punishing, and the plot has a lot to engage the reader. Excellent work, and I look forward to completing this epic journey!

  17. Lawrence Cohen-avatar

I guess this is inspired by D&D. But honestly, that isn't giving this world you've created enough credit. It has a brilliant plot and beautiful world building. Not to mention characters I care about. I've played D&D for years now and this is as delightful of a story as any I've heard or had the chance to be a part of. I'm thoroughly impressed with this. It's as nerve wracking as reading a suspenseful book and as exciting and engaging as a video game.

  18. Aaron Smith-avatar

When I started this game, I didn't know I'd love it this much. I dont know about anyone else but I kept telling myself one more chapter, get invested in the different decision making and even when I chose wrong and ended up dying I didn't get angry. It was interesting and emotional. I'm currently on Book 2 Chapter 7. I've been playing non-stop since I downloaded it at midnight and it's now 7 in the morning. Absolutely 5 stars, 10/10, will definitely recommend. Thank you for a wonderful game!

  19. Learner De Curious Queeñ-avatar

    Learner De Curious Queeñ

It is a really good game. I love it. I'm glad it didn't have horrible images like other games. That would've have scared the beck out of me. I could see a little bit of teach and flirt. I think romance is a good add if you're actually going for it. Thank you!

  20. Mr. Blonde-avatar

Story wasn't particularly interesting, there was a tad too much exposition for me to remember most any of it, and I didn't really connect to the characters. Ultimately it's your standard railroaded path type of story. The saving grace is some of the humor. As long as you aren't taking it seriously, you'll have a good time.

  21. MissBKH 225-avatar

A great app to spend some time focusing away from the events of the world; especially with the pandemic. A great story in which your choices actually matter, with different things happening depending on your stats and the choices you make. Quite frankly, this is one of the most entertaining apps I've ever downloaded. Incredible.

  22. Romario M.-avatar

One of the best (and probably the best) novel games I have ever played. I'm only at chapter 6 of book 1 and I must say that this is amazing. Everything seems so real!! I wouldn't be surprised if you guys are legit professionals. Keep it up in making more chapters and I hope you guys can even make more stories. You creator/creators made my day. Thank you for your hard work

  23. L Sweeney-avatar

Perfect story. Well-crafted world. Believable characters. Intriguing plot. Extremely immersive (particularly with relaxing, Celtic or fantasy music). Only minor downside in the series so far was a small portion of excessively contrived dialogue in one of the shorter chapters. This is a must-read for anyone and everyone.

  24. Noname51389-avatar

I hope that more action would come into play. The stat device should be taken more advantage of and more integrated into the story line since it seems a huge part of how this story forms and unfolds.. Maybe the choices can build a better personalized story and have more consequences regarding what you choose. Other story line games often lead back to a central story path that often didn't matter you picked those options. I haven't played the story all the way through, To play 2nd time to check

  25. John Morgan-avatar

This is a great game, I really enjoy it, however I think that next chapter we deserve some more stat points, as we have just been given three new catagories, with two more on the way, but continue to only have a few stat points. An elegant solution for this would be to link the stat device to the magical plane, as suggested by Kate.

  26. Kyle Platt-avatar

This game was amazing I love it and when I started playing it I was engrossed in it for hours without even realizing it might not of been a game I would pick usually but after trying it I didn't regret it, all the books can be obtained free too.

  27. Vernon Camp-avatar

Great story overall but I didn't finish. The writer should have someone edit for them. For example, the story flips back and forth between past and present tense. Sometimes the story tends to go into too much detail. The theory of magic in Book Two was way too long and made me lose interest very quickly. If you want to keep readers engaged, give them more choices and keep the story moving. Good job on the story and characters though. I liked the creatures and spell use as well.

  28. stompit up-avatar

I've played lots of text-based games and this one is by all means the best text-based game ever. Its character development, the variation of the diffrent routes you can take and the author's abnormal talent at writing are what makes this game top notch. This game is so underrated. Anyone reading this i recommend you to just download this game without any hesitation, because i guarantee you that you won't regret it. This review i made is just how i can thank the maker of this masterpiece. Cheers.

  29. Nicole Jackson-avatar

I absolutely love the story do far and the simple design of the app. I took off a star because I think there should be a way to go back pages and also there should be something to indicate what choices I made when I do have to back and pick a new one. Also, a chart of all the endings and decisions would be really cool. Great app though!

  30. Kylon 1235-avatar

Definitely the best text based rpg I've ever played, I love the genre of multiple choice (especially when it's not a romance sim) and the adventure is well written, all of the characters have deep personality and are believable. Great writing job and very immersive. Only downside is that once you save the game in a lot the name will be overwritten and you have to retype the name which makes it harder to sort your runs since you have to rename them every time you save.

  31. Mathijs Verbeure-avatar

    Mathijs Verbeure

I think these books have a lot of potential, with great character diversity, pretty diverse arcs, and a very interesting world with an amazingly designed backstory. The story is intriguing, the characters are all unique with their own different personalities and abilities, etc. It is simply one of the best CYOA games I have ever read!

  32. Arijit Choudhury-avatar

    Arijit Choudhury

The story seems superb. Its quite immersive and the characters are wellmade. However, a little bit of ambient music for different scenes and pictures to show more details would enhance the experience. Hooe the developers add these details.

  33. J. C. K-avatar

I have only tried a few games like this, but I'm really enjoying this one. The sections of text are long enough to be informative but short enough to allow for decisions that keep me more than interested. And, the checkpoint / cloud save features work well (and they have allowed me to recover from some pretty big gaffes).

  34. Fang Ding-avatar

Very well written. There are different ways to progress and you are not forced to start from the beginning for messing up your stats. You're able to unlock later books for free by completing achievements. Also there are no ads.

  35. Jennifer Cole-avatar

At first I wasnt sure if this was something I wanted to spend time on, but after reading the first few paragraphs I got sucked in, and ended up blowing through all 3 books in about 3 days. Love the humor, the story, and the stat based gameplay.

  36. Denske-avatar

My God what amazing writing and story. The choice system while good, is lacking in 2 ways. 1.Wish there were more choices 2. Most choices have no effect on the story at all (at least in a meaningful way)...I get it though, small team of programmers and each big choice adds a new tree of outcomes.

  37. Carter Crews-avatar

I am so sad,i lost all my progress have to read the story again and get all acheivements to get next book,i was in book 3 chapter 4 at the end and got my phone taken away, then missed two chapters and lost my progress.i am at a loss if words.i love this game so much i gave it a 5-star review and supported this game from the start of book 3 i have loved ir since

  38. Sagnik Dey-avatar

Perfect in every possible way. This book made me care about the characters way too much. Even though i generally get all the achievements, I'll try to pay for the next book just to support the developer/writer. CYOA games rarely have such immersive stories. Kudos.

  39. Nicholas Vu-avatar

So far having tons of fun at the start I thought this game wasn't going to make sense but as you play through your immersed in the interesting story and world building with many different choices that seem to influence your game alot more than others I've played I'm currently on book 1 chapter 6 and can't wait to continue I hope the amazing game quality continues and the way the stories going I don't think I'll be disappointed 👍

  40. EYAD MOHAMED-avatar

OK, I must admit, this is the best text-based game I ever played, it is just awesome, I really felt the characters' joys and sadness, I thought that I am with them in every step they take, and I can't wait for the seventh chapter, keep it up, because you are just awesome!!

  41. Eric Levay-avatar

Good storyline, good choices. Extremely slow stay building and many stay checks are done well before any stat upgrade available. It doesn't seem to detract much from the game.. It's worth the download and is enjoyable to play as it keeps you hooked. No ads is also an awesome thing!

  42. Reyulio Mikael-avatar

Played it around 4 years ago, finished book 1. Went back about 3 days ago and I'm already at the end of book 2, the story is amazing but I've noticed it is coming out really slow but i hope it's worth the wait. Keep making this great stuff you guys, and donate people to help the creator.

  43. Vince Miller-avatar

Wonderful game and lots of ways to play it. While its possible to unlock the following books bt achievemnts alone (like i did on my last device) you can pay a small sum to get them unloced asap. IMO ths money is well worth the support.

  44. It's A Maan-avatar

The story is immersive and unlike other cyoa it feels like you are truly a character in a fantasy world through the excellent world building. While it does use some well established fantasy tropes such as mages I think the game manages to make magic in it's own unique way by providing deep insight into how the magic works. I have played a number of text based adventure games (mainly choice of games) however unlike those the feels far more authentic as a fantasy novel.

  45. Griffin Hettinga-avatar

    Griffin Hettinga

It has a great story line and options. I also love the stat feature. It is like 10 different animes in 1 story. But you can choose your own path. The only thing I don't like is that only book 1 is free unless you unlock a lot of achievements.

  46. Ri lle-avatar

Fantastic story but app in my opinion need improvements Like for example... chapter takes about 2-3 months and if you have more than one save like me you forget (is this playthrough that I save someone or not or did I take some gold or special dagger . It would be great if u add like panel for this kind of staff.

  47. Paul Leisureman-avatar

    Paul Leisureman

Wonderfully executed. Solid storyline, full of excitement, free to play, to unlock the other books, you just play through again to unlock the achievements, no ads, no hassle, job well done guys. Looking forward to the rest of book three.

  48. Daivontai Sider-avatar

    Daivontai Sider

Great story amazing writing and lovable characters magium is perfect aside from afew unavoidable cons. The wait for new chapters is abysmal but its expected with such well done writing. The main character barry is loveable but occasionally his replys arent always exactly what you expect. When selecting your responses it is sometimes worded in such a way that you would believe your response would be serious but most commonly barrys replies are comedic or sarcastical.

  49. Gorana Uz-avatar

This is the best app RRPG text I've ever read. I'm so addicted to this that I completely finished it all in just two days, but I kind of disappointed cause the story ain't completed yet. I'll be hoping and waiting for the next chapters.. Thank you!!

  50. Jinny-avatar

This is the best choice game AND the best fantasy sorry I've seen, most choice games focus on lots of choices as their game play and don't take time to make good characters and story. This however is amazing and the characters are just so interesting. This honestly shouldnt even be free

  51. AMaDDeR HaTTeR-avatar

It is just as other reviewers stated... It is SO hard to put down after Chapter 1! So, I would suggest reading the first Chapter to get a slight feel for where this could lead you, especially if you have any business to attend to, commitments you must keep... It's so good, you may find your subconscious mind secretly plotting in an effort to construe plans to feed into your logic. Acceptable reasons to dismantle the commitments you once were dedicated to. Heh! Yeah... It IS THAT good.

  52. Tigerblade117-avatar

Great game. The way it's written is immersive and fun, and the feeling of choice works really well here. You can unlock more books (I assume of the same series) via unlocking achievements as you play, which is fun in itself.

  53. Skunko Hilarious-avatar

    Skunko Hilarious

The story felt a little badly written in the beginning, but as it went on it's tuned out to be one of the best stories I've ever read. If you want to unlock the second and third books, there are guides online to help you get the achievements you need for that :3

  54. Isaac Turner-avatar

This is not your usual text based RPG game, at the point I'm making this review it's face paced but it's completely story driven, mediocre but somehow more entertaining, your choices so far matter so you might have to redo the game a couple of times but it's worth it overall

  55. Ryan Runyan-avatar

It doesn't feel so much as a "choose your adventure" as it does a story with some little interactions sprinkled along the way. However, the content is interesting and well-written enough for me to keep coming back. You can definitely tell the writer(s) were passionate about this project.

  56. Za Warudo!!-avatar

This game is wonderful and probably one of the best I have played. However it is very sad that i to pay for book 2 since I live in a place where play store does not accept my currency. Beautiful game nonetheless.

  57. Ashok Singh-avatar

Waiting for ch 7 ............................ So I got so addicted to the game that I finished till book 3 ch4 in less than 5 days!!!! Just waiting for the next ch to release.... I know it takes a lot of time and effort to make different story lines and to code in choices etc. But I just can't wait. And there is no better CYOA text Rpg over the internet. Believe me I searched everywhere.

  58. Angello Wittenburg-avatar

    Angello Wittenburg

Great game I think that it is amazing I do wish chapters came out more often but I understand that it is hard to write down all the different routes that can be taken so basically the only thing stopping it from getting 5 stars is that I feel like it takes a little to long for new chapters.

  59. Oldryan Ocampo-avatar

Amazing game. Barry is jus such a wonderfully fun character to play with all his wit and sarcasm. Combined with tons of achievements and hidden secrets unlocked by the use of particular stats, it's fascinating to learn more and more about the world

  60. Atharva Shekatkar-avatar

    Atharva Shekatkar

I'm on book 1 chapter 6 right now and it's already very intriguing! I've barely been able to keep my phone aside while playing it! Excellent job! I hope to get through the story as soon as possible and I hope we get more books quickly!

  61. Tyler Kolander-avatar

It's a really solid choose your own adventure style text game. It's a little punishing, but that just adds to the challenge. I would recommend this to others.

  62. Mitchell Pemberton-avatar

    Mitchell Pemberton

Excellent monetization system, writing could use a little polish but it's better than most projects like this. Hunting for different achievements is fun and it's nice that there are legitimately important things you can miss without the right stats.

  63. Greg Totton-avatar

Options are limited, but you can rework selections and find a combination that gets you through the scenario. Enjoying the storyline and characters.

  64. Joseph Parry-avatar

Words can't describe how much fun this was, I've played it multiple times and each time I've found something new. This was one of the few games I would spend money on and I hope the writer will continue making this

  65. Prefect Keter-avatar

Great story which feels like a novel, which I really do appreciate. Great job to the writers for making this story creative with a narrative that is better than some books I've read in the past. Overall: GREAT

  66. Soul Protector-avatar

I absolutely love the flow of the story and the detail to the characters and the world. It feels so real and I can picture everything that happens. I love the customization aspect to it to. Keep up the great work! <3

  67. Mazlina Musa-avatar

I love it .It's very adventurous and awesome .I've played the real DnD before and I liked it but when you turned it into a mobile game it's easier to play .So thank you for creating this game of yours.

  68. Colin Higashi-avatar

An enjoyable and fairly compelling story with very natural plot exposition and fun characters. Took a star off because I'm having trouble with the button to give you more money to unlock book 3 so instead I have to go achievement hunting for free.

  69. Gil christian lopez-avatar

    Gil christian lopez

At first it was kind of boring, but picked up a few chapters in. Maybe the only problem I have with it is the exposition, but thanks formaking it optional.

  70. Mike Kerr-avatar

I'm not really one for books, but this game would have me captivated for hours at a time. Definitely worth purchasing the available books. Good job on this app!

  71. Kristina Ramolt-avatar

    Kristina Ramolt

This app is amazing as I get to visualise the characters and scenes myself as opposed to other apps similar to this that do not have as many words and are more like a picture book. I really like how there are points to invest and if you do not invest them in the correct stat, you might die. I also really like how the first book is free and is like a sample for the series. The only thing is, that the stat points are not abundant as I would like. This is understandable. It makes the game difficult.

Loving the story so far, it's well written and the choices make it more engaging, this is basically taking the best parts of a book and a game and combining them, 10/10 would recommend

  73. THA 6-avatar

Amazing DND style experience, love it. The characters are more immersive than my average DND game and it feels like a book about DND where I get to choose where the character makes dumb or smart choices. Highly recommended.

  74. Zhavaki Brown-avatar

I am totally giving this game a five star rating. The story is so interesting and its filled with peril, the arcane arts, action and even love. Keep up the good work, I hope I can get the update for book three before the end of May.

A fantastic text adventure, if not the best text adventure I've gone on so far. Fantastic characters with diversity and conflict. Captures that interesting party dynamic well.

  76. Daniel Raxter-avatar

I enjoyed every second of this. The plot is good, the characters are well-developed, and my favourite thing is that there is never just one way to survive. There is always a second option. Absolutely brilliant, can't wait for the next chapter.

I love the writing in this! the story is compelling and it really makes you think to making the right decisions there's also a lot of discover.

This game is far most the best interactive fiction book games... The Achievement list gives you the challenge to discover things and to challenge yourself to know what they are... "Average Joe" is far the most challenging achievements of all. Somehow I even managed to complete a book just by figuring out how to survive without relying on stats.. I really advise you to play this game! I guarantee you that you would really enjoy this game!!

  79. tontoldoos-avatar

Very much enjoyed the story. Well with my time, even though I think the achievements part is dumb, so will leave it at part 1.

4 out of 5 stars cuz every game in history requires improvement. The story and nuance of each character is impressive. It's easy to see how much effort the creator/author out into the game. Continue the great work.

  81. Jerome Lanig-avatar

I'm thoroughly enjoying the game. It seems to have a few different rails to the game, but, to mix my metaphors, all the roads lead to Rome. It's worth a few playthroughs at least.

  82. Teerth Narang-avatar

Great story, great game. There isn't anything like it on the Play Store. Good replayabilty too. Community is also fun

  83. Connor Wainman-avatar

Finish the first book today, I usually do get excited about an app but jesus this game had me gripped from start to finish, shame I have to get all the book one achievements before I can start book two but probabaly a minor inconvenience since I wont have to read as much of it

  84. Rhys Jarvis-avatar

This is a very fun game, but I don't like the achievements needed to access the next books. It takes a long time and is pretty boring.

first book was well written, story got a little rushed and felt thrown together after that. very good for free though. ... used to enjoy the game, but my save game dissapeared for some reason. I was very far in and do not have the motivation to go back through it. Uninstalling.

  86. Ben Griffiths-avatar

I've dropped this down to 1 star. You cannot pump out one chapter every few months and expect people to keep up with it. I would not have paid to remove ads if I knew the developer was this slow with the story. This one had promise but is not worth waiting for.

The story and world building is amazing. It easily surpasses the free content of Hosted games. I've been thoroughly impressed with the complexity of the story and character development. It's a unique take on text-based games. I look forward to the next available sections and playing through the first one again!

I am very much enjoying the story, there are some flaws in the sentences though but that doesn't mean that it is a really good built story.

  89. Róbert Tamás-avatar

This game has an exceptional story and the fact that you have to weight your decisions...simply great! But be sure you save your game now and then :D

  90. Jason Murphy-avatar

Really enjoying this so far. It's a great story and the decisions you make actually makes a difference. There are several different directions the story can go. It makes you feel like you are a part of the book.

  91. anton grachev-avatar

Very nice game! Delivers what it promises! No adds, nothing to bother you! If you enjoy this type of games I strongly suggest you download it!

  92. Unknown-avatar

Really great game. I love the idea of using achievements to unlock the next chapters instead of having a pay wall

  93. CTTRest-avatar

I dropped this down 1 star because I realised that the story isn't much of a cyoa game, it practically guides you to an objective, but i still thought that the story was great in my opinion

I have enjoyed these first two books and am looking forward to the third. It's always a fun adventure when you get to be involved. Even if you for a bunch to begin with lol

I rarely rate games but this is worth it. Using the stat device to incorporate leveling was genius, the story is amazing, best text based rpg i've ever come across.

  96. Homero Medrano-avatar

Awesome so far. Bad thing is, a bad choice can kill you in the spot, and it is kind of frustrating sometimes.

  97. Orrin C. Kerr-avatar

Well written. Enjoying it so far. (The adventurers have just assembled; i.e. early in the game.

  98. Jan Piesko-avatar

It feels like if I was reading a really long book, although an interactive one! It might just be text but it's great!

  99. Tyler Gunter-avatar

Im not even a DnD player what so ever i know its played but never played myself. I am throughly enjoying this one...been playing non-stop for about 2 hours. 6/5....most entertaining game on the play store
