I've been with magic jack for 8 years now and can say I'm about ready to switch. Their app gets worse with every update.. the latest update has made it so that I cannot listen to voicemail.. you click voicemails and a clock is shown like it's on voicemail but no sound happens.. just a dead line. So I have voicemails I can't check until I get home on my PC to download. Biggest issue is no dial tone on many calls and 1 in 10 calls are just dead air.. won't even call anyone. Annoying

Featureless app, can't manage voicemail or call blocking, need to use the website. Also logs out from time to time, you'll miss calls if you're out. But the service is basically free, like Google Voice, and unlike GV, you can conveniently have multiple handsets in your house. For features at a cost, go with Ooma.

app can be unreliable. Didnt work on Android for a month. Dropped calls are an issue and missed texts. Calls frequently disconnect so you are doing constant call backs. I wish they would fix text issues so there were more text features, group texts, pictures etc... Useing an additional text app is a pain but you get tired of reminding people that you dont get group texts or picures. Customer service sucks, screwed again. sister loves her Ooma. Found out MJ has short code blocking to limit text!

My experience has been TERRIBLE for I have SPEND the entire Sunday speaking to operators that have resolve NOTHING AT ALL. My problem is the same as Mr John Nelson estated here before on his Review of 08/25/21 @ 10:17 & 10:18 and I been with out comnunication on the day I needed most for my wife is returning from Europe and has an overnight stop in Panamá. Either they find a LONG TERM SOLUTION or we will have to find an alternative to what use to be a good system.

I can hear a background noise in thebackground on either incoming or receiving calls, I didn't have this problem before and I been with MagicJack for many years, what can be the problem ??

Can't receive incoming calls. I already had business cards made with the number!! Their tech support is a joke (restart the phone, run a speed test, we can't help you). I am so frustrated and disappointed!!

Calls frequently do not go through - both outgoing and incoming. When I try to make an outgoing call, it won't go through and instead gives me a notification stating "Wait! Call is in progress!" But the call never actually goes through. I frequently get notifications of missed incoming calls even though the app never rang.
