Lunafaqt is an app to render the moon on any specific date and or location. It also calculates the rise and set times for the sun and moon, twilight times, time and date for the next moon phase. It's a good app, but please fix the date format! It shows the American date format (m/d/yy), without letting you change it to a European format (dd.mm.yyyy). The time format is customizable, that's OK.

I love this app. It is loaded with detailed and subtle information about the moon, moonrise, sunrise, etc. Watching it update while the moon waxes and wanes is fascinating. I look at the moon picture on my phone (excellent graphics too) and feel as though I am actually outside in the night looking at our oldest satellite. I recommend it to everyone. A little peace in the midst of digital clutter.

Have used this app for years and all my friends & family use it. It's great for trip planning (moonrise over the ocean and new moons for stargazing in remote areas. One small request if you ever think of it, it would be nice to have perigee and apogee noted on the monthly calendar. You have the distance, which is great, but it would be nice to have a quick reference.vn j.lo p

A great app for determining the phase of the moon and the sunrise and sunset times for your current location. A simple and clear user interface makes it easy to find out these facts for the date of your choosing. Cross-checking with other references from time to time has convinced me that this app is quite accurate as well.

I used to love this app but now it's giving nonsense info. It detects my GPS location accurately, but it says sunrise is 10:53 pm and sunset is 11 am. Persists after clearing storage on the app.

good application, I love it, always i use it to determine the start of lunar months in islamic hijri calendar, but that need also elongation between moon and sun at the sunset, so if you can add that feature will be great and deserve 5 stars, thanks

I love this app. It has everything I need in this type of app. The only thing I would like to see is a graphic of the position of the moon for each day. At least a description of the terms used in the display would be very useful for us non-astronomers.
