In this strategy card game, skill defines your success—not luck. Mix and match iconic champions, allies, and regions of Runeterra to unlock unique card synergies and outplay your opponent.
Dynamic, alternating gameplay means you can always react and counter, but so can your opponent. Choose from dozens of champion cards to include in your deck, each with a different mechanic inspired by their original League of Legends abilities.
Champions enter the battle as powerful cards, and if you play smart, they level up to become even more epic. Level up your champions multiple times in-game to earn Champion Mastery crests the more you play.
Every champion and ally in the game comes from a region of Runeterra including Demacia, Noxus, Freljord, Piltover & Zaun, Ionia, Targon, Shurima, and the Shadow Isles.
Explore how different champions and regions work together to give you unique advantages against your opponents. Combine, adapt, and experiment with frequent new releases in an always-evolving meta.
Earn cards for free or buy exactly what you want with shards and wildcards—you’re in control of your collection, and you’ll never pay for random packs of cards. While there’s always the option to purchase specific cards, you can easily complete your collection without spending a cent.
Victory or defeat, each battle brings experience and progress. Choose which region you want to explore first and unlock allies, spells, and champions that call to you.
Once a week you’ll also unlock chests from the Vault. These chests level up the more you play, increasing the rarity of cards inside from common all the way up to champion. Chests can also contain wildcards, which can be turned into any card you want.
At the end of every season, 1024 qualifying Ranked players on each of LoR’s four regional shards (Americas, Asia, Europe, and Southeast Asia) will be able to compete for pride, glory, and a cash prize in the seasonal tournament.
But Ranked play isn’t the only way to qualify for Seasonal Tournaments—you can also run the Last Chance Gauntlet. Gauntlets are limited-time competitive modes with unique rules and exclusive rewards.
In Expeditions, draft and build a deck using champions, followers, spells from all over Runeterra—even if they’re not in your collection! Then test your newfound strategy against other players and battle for rewards.
Labs are limited-time experimental game modes focused on more extreme changes to the classic Legends of Runeterra formula. Choose a premade deck with specific constraints, or bring your own. The rules are always changing, and sometimes you might need a little help from your friends! Check back frequently to see what Heimerdinger is cooking up.

Pros: very innovative and original. This is not just "league of legends hearthstone". There is so much LoR has that other card games dont. Getting cards is also 100% free and most ingame purchases are for cosmetics. LoR also just looks very nice, and has a unique visual style. Cons: If you are going to play ranked, prepare to play against the same 5 decks every single game. The meta is extremely limited in ranked play. Card balancing is not the best, but it could be worse.

Great game for players of League of Legends and card games a like. The lore and the story the cards tell goes deep and is very enjoyable. This also happens to be one of the most FREE TO PLAY digital card game I've ever played. After about a bit of time of playing you can use the in game resources to craft exactly the cards you want, not relying on RNG chests.

Played league of Legends for 10 years!!! Absolutely love what you did with this card game beautiful, fun, and elaborate!!! Please expand and add to the lab of Legends content it is my favorite part and would love to see more champions as well as maybe a whole new set of enemy playlists and buff options!!! I would stick around forever if you keep adding to labs of Legends!!! Thanks for all you do!!!

When it's comes to collectible card games, it's hard to find another that gives this much away. I haven't spent a penny on cards, but I own all of them just from playing casually for a while. They make their money almost entirely from cosmetics which are a bit overpriced but don't affect gameplay. High quality artwork. Gameplay that's constantly being updated and balanced. Overall very solid.

The most difficult thing to do with a computer is program it to pick a random number. Computers don't understand the concept of "random" so getting a computer to accurately emulate a set of dice can be very difficult. I find this game to be exquisite in that it is a finite set of variables thrown into an equation wherein an seemingly infinite number of outcomes is possible.

I love how this game challenges you. I love being able to level up my champions. I do wish there was more ways to get boards and poros with out having to drop a lot of money to get them. That's my only complaint. Its a game for above thinkers but you can learn more and more every time you play.

Easily the best card game that exist right now. They keep adding new content and events. By just playing the game you can easily save enough currency to buy the cards/deck you want to play. The cards interactions and animation are also amazing. It's NOT pay to win! But you can support the developers by buying skins for your board or champion cards if you like the game.

Honestly The meta is to dum,I mean everyone plays the same things like there zombies most of the time, but I do like some of the mechanics I think though you should let all the mechanics shine though some of them don't really benefit the players at all cause there to complacted or to hard to use and they will just move on to a different deck so try balancing the means to use cards and there effects and nerf what the card does it self that way its not to op when it goes off nor is the high cost.

An absolutely phenomenal card game. The free to play model is super generous, and I had a full custom, competitive deck after only playing for like 3 days. Leagues better than Hearthstone. Update: The game is still amazing, and I now have a dozen full decks that a crafted completely for free. Competitive decks, as well as fun meme decks. A+ game.

This game is, overall, absolutely amazing. I can't think of many card games that got me as invested in the characters the cards portray as this one. The gameplay has had some rough patches on the competitive scene, but with both single player and multiplayer modes, i was able to just play solo until the rough patch passed. The voice acting is phenominal. Erik dellum had no right to make Nasus's voice so smooth and calming. characters like Chip had the entire community fawning. Good job Rito.
