I really like this App. Just wish my library was a bit better sorted with artist/ album sections and so on. Also imagine not knowing any korean and not living in korea then downloading a korean app only to cry like a baby because you don't understand anything or have a korean phone number You people are ridiculous...

Danger of recurring payments that are impossible to stop. There is no easy way to cancel a subscription after you enter your payment information and the app starts charging you monthly. Just search for "melon unsubscribe" on internet and you will find that it is impossible to unsubscribe from the app, and this feature is hidden deep in the desktop version of the website. You should be fair with your customers and let us easily unsubscribe when we want to.

The music collection is respectably comprehensive but the player UX is confusing and convoluted. Deal breaker: can't automatically save offline music to SD card (only to internal memory). And to make it a one star review: canceling my account (and the rolling payments!) was so difficult that I had to search 멜론 해지방법 in naver and follow through some instructions provided in a blog (in Korean). I am talking about real *UX dark patterns* there, designed to make you give up cancelling.

I don't understand the complaints here. Like most korean apps you need a korean phone number. Its for verification. The layout can be confusing at first but once you get used to it, its so helpful! I love this app much more than spotify~ For people who can't understand Korean why don't you just use spotify / Apple Music / Youtube Music? There are tons of Korean songs there too. With so many options why are people bashing a Korean Music App for catering to Koreans only?

음악이 재생 하다가 갑자기 끊겨서 많이 불편합니다. 서비스 중단 할 생각입니다. 이런 서비스 돈내고 받기에는 억울함. The music keeps stopping even before reaching midway through a song. I'm planning on discontinuing my membership, even if it's a pain to unsubscribe since it's more of a pain to pay for this sort of service.

this app is great. its just the fact that if you dont have a korean phone number there is no way you can create an account/login. even when you try to login using other apps such as kakao talk or your email, you still need to have a korean number. therefore, as a person who doesnt live in korea, i cant use it.

cannot play the music, have waited for 30 min. there is no internet connection problem yet it cannot connect to the main page it says. I could even play YouTube while waiting on Melon. please fix.
