Eh, there's little reason to play the game. The gameplay isn't particularly engaging, summoning isn't fun because it's just getting the same characters over and over just to merge them together, the reward for beating levels is just lots of feeding units to level up characters, the entire game is just... eh. I never had any desire to come back and play the game as there was nothing the game did well enough to draw me back in. There are other issues but the game is very forgettable.

Great game and so much fun, but to really get further i need specific heroes you can only get through their VERY VERY expensive summons, they have SO MANY different packs they want you to buy and they are all so expensive and worthless. The only worthwhile one would be the VIP. I was hoping this game would set itself apart from other gacha games, but it is the same, this should be a $10 a month game, not a $1000. Worst part it, this won't change, just plain greed and preys on addicts

Edit - I urge you to reconsider this update. You made event rewards much lower and the rank-up requirements much higher. You took away 2 of the free daily starter hero shards. You made rare summons so much worse that any progression buildup feels like it smashed into a brick wall. No, this is not just people being negative to any kind of change. Even top players who've played for years through many updates are quitting/cancelling their subscription. Edit 2 - Some things have been improved.

Game works until dungeon 3-2, then the next level (3-2) is greyed out and when I click on it, the game says it's locked. 3-1 is completed. There is nothing that says how to unlock the next level.

I only had this game for a week and I enjoyed it. Before the latest update, the game was awesome. I had teams with great synergy and had to plan out my orb order. But now, they took out several different aspects that made it an RPG. There was a gear system that forced the play of story mode. Gone. Different spells between elements when you matched 5+ of the same colored orbs. Gone. I lost my account during the latest update, but they helped me retrieve it. So at least they're good on that.

I've been playing lightslingers for 2 months now. I have to say the battle system is very well thought out! You (can) play this game without spending money. You just have to grind the elite stages for character pieces every day. The only problem I can find in the game is when you battle in the arena. An enemy with the blind ability can make 2 to 3 of your characters miss their hits up to 3 turns. Considering you only have around 10 to 15 turns this makes the enemy way overpowered. But beyond that great game!

The most recent update (10/14) ruined some big parts of this game. Moving from the star system to ascension is very confusing and it caused a lot of people to lose a lot of progress, including myself! For example, I was 1 star away from a 7 star hero, now the 6 stars that were added to that hero are gone! That's only one example of what I lost due to the update. Devs, please read the global chat, as everyone has been voicing their opinions, no one likes the update, and many people are leaving...

The free to play experience is sorely lacking, and the gameplay doesn't feel rewarding at all. In this kind of game, you set out to collect character cards, but in this one, even the weakest cards are drip fed to you You won't feel much progression in terms of character collection or evolution. Meanwhile, the game does everything possible to incentivize you to pay up or get the VIP status.

It's a very neat bubble shooter, I like this better than the standard ones. It's pretty hard to raise your monsters max level, so it gets annoying when you're trying to progress. Another complaint is that it pauses when it tells you how many moves are left, it's especially annoying on the rotating ball stages, and when you need to hit moving targets.

The game was pretty fun until the most recent update. I'm not as seasoned as a lot of the players but I enjoyed it to the point I was playing all day. The new "ascension" thing.... I can't even do it WITH the characters duplicates which I get all the time instead of different ones to try out. And now leveling up players seems to barely do anything. And the paid VIP thing. Just one ridiculous price. AND they want you to pay it monthly 🤔 no thanks. I will see what this new update brings.
