My Stylo 5 can't recieve LG Switch data from my Stylo 3. Why does LG push this app? Only to make it incompatible between old & new models in same Stylo series models. Why, for that matter, would LG choose to make the "send data only" app version the primary download for more recent models i.e. Stylo 5 vs. the full send/rec. version available to the Stylo 3. Isn't it more likely that the"recieve data" version would be in greater demand in newer models.

App decides which phone is going to ve considered the old device. If you are looking for something to help you transfer info onto your backup phone because if a problem with a newer device, this is useless.

Absolutely LOVE IT.. It is on the Aristo 4+... So easy and perfect in everyway. Even the old LG Backup was perfect. Very good job LG. I already used it on Stylus 6... WOW. The app was only partially installed.... went to Playstore for the install. I did a complete reset and kept all my downloaded apps and settings and everything else I wanted.

I am a total tech illiterate!! I downloaded this App on my old LG phone very apprehensively because I NEVER download Apps!! It was successful. I then downloaded it on my new LG phone quite easily. I chose to transfer my info wirelessly and it was a total success to my surprise!! Maybe it was helpful that I also had the App open on my desktop computer at the same time?? Not sure, but I am very happy that it worked instantly for me!!

There's no way of undoing it once you try to share information from your old phone to the new one and something comes up and you have to stop after that and always comes up on the top of your phone and notification and never goes away

If you are having problems with WiFi, that's because it is WiFi! WiFi is only a convenience. NEVER trust WiFi to things you actually care about. WiFi sucks! Buy an SDHC card from Am---n for $9.99 and transfer in under 20 minutes! Transfer everything, music, photos, movies, games, apps, texts, and most importantly phone settings. Fantastic! I have used it thrice now, and it is the way to go! Don't blame the phone because you have Comcrap or Ashite&T WiFi!

-5 Stars I use the several times before the update that made it all when download instead of downloading receiver on the new phone and send it on the old used several times worked perfectly transferred everything. now it's all one app complete trash nothing works wireless only transferred part of my Google account and that doesn't include the part that had my password I repeat app's now complete trash. And everybody on the design team to be completely flogged what they did to a perfect app

The app did not adequately explain why logging into my Google account was essential for a complete data transfer. LG is offering to help with the transfer. That would have been great a year ago. I've since fixed the problem on my own. Fixing the app would mean rewriting the guide that goes with it to underscore that Google data will only be transferred if you log into your account.

Works great. Install on old phone and then activate it and the preinstalled version on your new phone. Select the data you wish to transfer and it disconnects your WiFi to activate WiFi-direct to make the transfer. This works a treat, but you can use a USB cable, or SD card, if you have problems or prefer those options. The latter options might be best if you want to save on cellular data as it does download your apps from the app store instead of transferring them over, wirelessly. Hope this helps.

The app worked as advertised! The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is that it did take a while to complete. There should be a statement in the app that advises you to be sure you have at least five hours where the phones need to be together. I am completely happy with the results, just wish I had known before hand, I would have waited until I was going to bed.
