Apparently Leafly considers dispensaries that are over 6000 miles away as "nearby". When I type in the name of a well known dispensary that is actually nearby, the only search results that show up are totally useless. I thought this app was supposed to help Local dispensaries, but instead just sucks. By the way, the dispensary I was searching for pays you WAY to much for the service you are giving them. I wanted to see their menu, but couldn't even locate them, or others, within your app.

  2. Nikki S-avatar

The old format was spectacular! After your website and app were changed a few months ago, they both completely stink, which is so disappointing. I'm sure this was all meant to be an improvement, but it was just the opposite. If you guys can undo all the "improvements" and take your website and app back to how they were this fall, you'll be solid. Just undo all the mess, and bring back your solid platform. You're losing business to Weedmaps now, trust me. --Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus

  3. Nathan Hone-avatar

10/22/19 It wasn't broken.... Until you guys decided to "fix" it. If the old GUI, or just something more manageable than whatever garbage is there now, ends up happening maybe I'll redownload it. Can't even log into my account or place online orders anymore. 4/4/20 What is the point in having a mobile app if everything I do just takes me to my browser

  4. Lauren-avatar

This app has a nice aesthetic, I LOVE the way they show a strain's THC/CBD content and terpene profile by shape and color of a flower. That said, programming-wise it needs a lot of work. I can't view my private reviews on mobile; just an error. You can't edit or delete your review for a strain, product, or dispensary without e-mailing support. Also there is no way to add strains. Wish I could manually input strains and THC/Terps for private reviews you can edit like a cannabis health journal.

  5. greg williams-avatar

The new map is awful, can't tell where state boundaries are so it's hard to tell which dispensaries are in which state. Awful, awful map design. Also the new system of showing THC vs CBD is not helpful. Put it back to what it was before. Just show THC vs CBD percentage. Lastly it'd be nice if strains had more info on them, like Wikileaf

  6. Brett Phillips-avatar

Great app, only real downside is that it sometimes has really bad issues with refreshing properly and sticking to dispensaries in your location. There are definitely workarounds to use the app functionally, but it's something that should be worked on.

  7. jule conover-avatar

I used to love this app.mit used to be easy to navigate and to search in a straightforward manner. That is no longer the case. Put "blackberry kush" in the search box on the main page and be amazed at what pops up, but nothing about the damn strain. FIX THE SEARCH FUNCTION!

  8. NateD01-avatar

Well it looks like I'm not the only one that feels this way about the changes ....l've have gotten used to them but I definitely like the old layout better just like everyone else ....this updated version seems confusing and unorganized, but its decent but old way was better

  9. Joseph Millenbach-avatar

Cannot filter by really obvious ways to get valid results (like less than thousands of miles). Often no menu. No way to contact company in app. Cannot filter by terpenes or even see them usually. App is useless to me.

  10. Faith Dalton-avatar

Its a marvelous idea for an app but honestly sucks. Some strains you can see some information but most you cant, cant see the thc percentage, most have no description, etc. For ONE order, I am spammed with SEVEN text messages. Im not sure if its the app or the dispensaries giving such a lack of information. However, a problem is still a problem. Unfortunately during this time using leafly is an amazing option for high risk people as myself. I just wish it gave more information about any strain.

  11. Sean Adkins-avatar

I have to update this review.....again....seriously what app developers are you using? They suck....apps are supposed to improve not regress. The old version was so much better. Map is horrible now, strains are suddenly missing (GG, Gorilla Glue, etc only show specific products and not the strain....if you search glue you only get Original, super, etc), there's a ton of missing strain info....the previous version of the app before the wierd stars and such was 100x better

  12. Jim Myshock-avatar

What used to be a good app turned real bad. Signing in takes you to the website, if you back out on accident you get locked out. What's the point of the "app"? I miss a quick and easy way to check my favorite strains or dispensaries. Fix the app please!

  13. Danae Thomas-avatar

why have you ruined the app with your update? please fix the issues! was a great app. don't install the update!! UPDATE its even worse!! Why does it take me to external webpages?? Fix this thing!!!

  14. Kim Riggins-avatar

Loved this app when it broke down each strain's effects but that feature is gone for some reason. That feature was one of the primary reasons why I used this app.

  15. Matthew Stokey-avatar

This redesign is absolutely horrible. It wasn't well thought out or executed, and is just a big pain in the ass with almost no redeeming qualities.

  16. MrDeedsly-avatar

Not a great experience trying to use the UI. Weedmaps has a much easier browsing experience. Trying to claim deals is next to impossible sometimes. I've never had that issue with Weedmaps befofe.

  17. Jay Speidell-avatar

App is totally broken as of now. Both app and website just show a random item in your cart whenever you view it.

  18. WildHumbleKing _-avatar

Im giving 5 stars regardless, leafly helps me find the strain I'm curious about smoking for the first time. I just use it for that purpose & i like to save all the new strains i smoke or come across to show off but for some reason with all that updating i can't even save them. Leafly is legit like a poke-dex for cannabis smokers soooo please fix it i like looking at all the strains i "collected"

  19. Chris Johnson-avatar

Love this app! Its my go to for knowing which terpenes are in the different strains and finding new strains i want to try. Great articles and good info. However it does not have terpenes graphs for some of the strains i am finding.

  20. Marco Marquez-avatar

My son has Epilepsy, everytime I come in they always give thorough information and things that work for them or other patients. I genuinely feel my son has a Med Clinic that actually give great onsite and shows they care. I recommend for any child who uses MMJ for care!

  21. Billy Tirado-avatar

Gives me everything I need to know, and includes local points. Absolutely love this App!

  22. Mike Scribner-avatar

Update on review posted 1/6/2020 Reviews still dont seem to be posting. I've written one everyday for the same dispensary this past week and while other reviews seem to pop up.. mine seemingly get lost in the shuffle. Fix. Your. App.

  23. Debra Clevenger-avatar

    Debra Clevenger

This is a great app. Always precise. Coupons should be available within the app

  24. Shakezula TheMicRula-avatar

    Shakezula TheMicRula

Don't let dispensaries ruin your app with their garbage ads. Make the filter actually filter instead of keeping the dispensaries that paid for ad space on top. Very consumer friendly practices... Not.

  25. Trudy G-avatar

Awesome access to relevant information. Info is current. Moderately easy to navigate.

  26. Ryan Howell-avatar

Like the old layout way better. Plus their database is not keeping up, tbh. Like half the strains at the dispensary arent on leafy so I cant even do research anymore unless it's on a classic strain.

  27. The 47 Ronin-avatar

Share button doesn't work , other than that its great, i don't see how its confusing for anyone lol

  28. Robert White-avatar

I updated the app got on just fine tryed to look at any of the menus but it sayed error connecting to server so I tryed restarting my phone but still did not work.

  29. Sharon Budz-avatar

I love Leafly! I order my stuff through them and just have to go pick it up. It is very helpful during this time. 🙂

  30. Joshua Thomas-avatar

Terrible since the update. You can't search nearby strains easily, nor can you specify THC/CBD ranges in searches. Might as well just use Yelp to find places to purchase.

  31. Ja Ba-avatar

With the new update, when I click the map option for dispensaries nearby, the app crashes every time....

  32. Nas Sux-avatar

a 1 star rating. where can i download the previous version. in the next update you should add filters for cities

  33. Francisco J Mercado-avatar

    Francisco J Mercado

It stopped showing dispensaries around me on the map; they are still open. I'm assuming it now only shows dispensaries that pay the app?

  34. Tracy g Hannah Rodrigues-avatar

    Tracy g Hannah Rodrigues

Needs to be put in order by the County and the other DEALS AVAILABLE FOR EACH DAY OR A PERIOD OF TIME.

  35. Calvin Taplin-avatar

Quite happy with the app design, only issue is the map for my area is very inacurate

  36. David Rudolph-avatar

Great resource for strain information and reviews.

  37. Tony F-avatar

The app is borderline useless for recreational users because there is no way to specifically search for recreational stores, and no way to tell if you are viewing a recreational or a medical menu.

  38. Vincent La Tassa-avatar

    Vincent La Tassa

Old app was so much better. Much more informative than current version

  39. Kyle Lozano-avatar

Love Leafly! Member since 2018. Super easy and amazingly helpful.

  40. Nuttso88-avatar

The most recent update of this app officially killed my high. How leafly? How? Smh bring back the layout that waz easy to use please.

  41. Karla Hernandez-avatar

    Karla Hernandez

I really enjoy this app. I just wish more dispensaries kept their inventory up to date on here.

  42. Suzanne C-avatar

From what I can see you have not updated your app to show that Cultivate IS open to MEDICAL Patients only, so this app is od no use to me!

  43. Steeltoro-avatar

Much better with this latest update. Love this app. Has been a great tool on my cannabis journey.

  44. Kyle Hinchman-avatar

Great app for a quick pick-up instead of waiting in line.

  45. Zachary Bason-avatar

Cannot place orders within the app, completely pointless. It just opens a web browser if you try to order anything.

  46. Audrey Cortez-avatar

Amazing! As a beginner in the world of medical marijuana I rely on this app for all things weed there is so much to learn

  47. Ian Weyenberg-avatar

Just like the website, they just keep removing useful features. Slowly turning into completely useless app. Are you trying to ruin your business and send us all to WeedMaps?

  48. Bryan Camacho-avatar

This app used to good until you made an update. Very hard to find strains on your app now. I now use All Bud for strain info.

  49. Ben Cranton-avatar

Good if you like incorrect information that doesnt apply or also if you just enjoy endless popup ads.

  50. Simone Mineo-avatar

It sucks! The previous app was waaaaaay better. I barely use it now. Only use it if I need to know some name, otherwise big NO! I'm also thinking to do my own

  51. taylor marks-avatar

Horrible, maps don't work kick me out each time

  52. Jaime Smith-avatar

Very cool app just waiting for more dispensaries to add info to it.

  53. Tyler Wilfong-avatar

I love this app I've been going through and saving all the strains I've smoked see how many I can get!

  54. Damon Fairbairn-avatar

    Damon Fairbairn

I absolutly love this app but i eould recommend you guys to try to make this app available across the world,so that anywhere you are in the world you could locate the nearest despensaries, would you plz open this app in SA too😁

  55. shereed c-avatar

Still sucks A$& Please bring back the old app, the updated app SUCKS, way harder to find strains. New isn't always better.

  56. Kelly Latham-avatar

Helps me find what I want without driving around wasting gas.

  57. David Schultz-avatar

Very good experience for new clients

  58. Annette Dunkin-avatar

Great app I used in Oregon. Hoping I have as much luck in California.

  59. alexkvh-avatar

Whoever approved the new redesign wasn't smoking a very good strain. I used to use this app as a way to find out more about different strains. It was easy and simple to use. Now, there's no more straightforward icons for each strain, you have to hunt through the page text to find any information, and simple colour coded icons and effect bars get replaced with complicated "flowers" that half the time are incomplete. Sad to see such a good app go like this, guess I've gotta find something else.

  60. Sandi Q-avatar

Really not a fan of the latest update. It looks slick, but it's difficult to use (it was very easy before) & a lot of the information is missing (the effects breakdown was so helpful but it's gone now). Hopefully Leafly will bring back the breakdown in the next update. Update 12/15/19 App is even more useless now after tweaks to the "new & improved" version. Developers: Please get it together & make a SIMPLE, FUNCTIONAL, app! Y'all know we're high AF & your terpine kaleidoscopes don't help.

  61. Garrett French-avatar

After the new update I cant sort anything. I wont be using this app anymore! I can just walk into the store and look when i get there. Leafly pickup needs to be turned off by default, bc there are many items that dont show up will pickup is on. Map doesnt work! Never has! If the dispensary doesnt pay u it doesnt show up on the map. Weed maps has dispensaries that aren't even open yet on their map.

  62. Jacob O-avatar

Haven't used this app in a while, but while I was gone they seemed to have made some big changes. I can't blame someone for trying to revamp their app and add some new features... but when it makes the app completely unusable, they should be sensible enough to roll back to a previous (functional) version. The strain library is empty and the new coding system is completely unnecessary. Leafy used to be a useful resource. Now it is a useless waste of space on your mobile device.

  63. Trevor Metterhauser-avatar

    Trevor Metterhauser

The availability of strains in the database is VERY limited. The app seems disorganized and hard to work through. The developer is making an honest effort to make a connection to its users but the app needs to either limit what it does or more clearly defined it's sections and improve search functions. They also need to add brand specific strains. I want to know genetics of the plants and the ancestry. Yes, that's a lot of data but it's possible.

  64. Rony Perez-avatar

I prefer the app the way it was before. This new layout is counterintuitive and while it "looks nicer" the information is not presented in a way that is simplified like before. Also the strain data needs to be presented WAY better because right now it is cumbersome and confusing to find what you are looking for with regard to strain.

  65. Craig Stebbins-avatar

New update threw the menu off, and you can't see if it's even being updated for the dispensary you are viewing. I get updates for security reasons, but why change the interface when it was working good? The product lists were organized before, looks like the individual dispensaries are going to have to edit their menus again. Good job dorks!

  66. Justin Hauck-avatar

Love the accessto local dispensaries deals and menus

  67. Nora Dossie-avatar

Honestly super disappointed in the update. I want the old leafly back. It's annoying when I search for dispos and it pulls up locations no where close at all, or even in my state. Before the update I could type a few letters and it give me the suggestion before I finished typing. Tried searching for a dispensary almost for an hour with no success because the results were useless. Very, very disappointed.

  68. Jack Slater-avatar

All this app needs is a filter to show your country only.

  69. Brayden Sweepe-avatar

The new update is terrible. Layout is everywhere. Has abunch of useless info on the home screen now instead of my liked and followed dispensaries. Doesn't even have nearby dispensaries anymore I have to go find my dispensary every time I want to look at the menu on the dumbass map the provided that doesn't work half the time. Btw I have a brand new phone so ots most definitely poor design on the app itself. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

  70. Jake from Youtube-avatar

    Jake from Youtube

You idiots have made this app worse with each bigger update. The first big one made the strain info pages way more complicated and confusing and it hasn't had the option to find that strain nearby since then. And this most recent one it's more annoying to see the prices for different amounts cause you have to go to the strain page and when you sort from low to high price it doesn't work. The app was better 6 months ago. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

  71. Jenise Santana-avatar

It's doesn't have all the strains listed on the actual website because I've had to Google the strain name in order to find it because it doesn't pop up when I search on the app.

  72. Justin Camarena-avatar

    Justin Camarena

Useless application for online MENUS (Oregon) The app is constantly changing and moving everything around without telling you. So you get used to one thing and then it changes. App update tutorials would be nice? The shops menus are ALWAYS out of date and this new filtration system doesn't work. Showed me one result for grams of concentrates at a dispensary that carries hundreds. The search has never worked for me unless I type every single word out. Following a shop does what again? Useless

  73. A Google user-avatar

Is functional as of 01/16/20. Seem to have fixed the problems with staying signed in, listing the last time the menus were updated, and it displays current news in the feed again. Still prefer the old layout, but it's improving slowly.

  74. Jay Buick-avatar

Recently used the new ordering system for Grow Healthy through the Leafly app. It worked flawlessly. Direct communication with the store via a few texts and my order was ready for pick up. Kudos to both Grow Healthy and Leafly for providing this service; but, more importantly, this service works both efficiently and seamlessly! Enjoying the new strain profile data. It took some adjustments, but now it's so informative and helpful. Your services are appreciated and applauded.

  75. Joe Books-avatar

Update: unable to log in now bewi was stupid and signed up with Facebook. Says "app still in development mode" or something like that. Awesome!! Not Used to be better. Always logs me out and I have to log back in. Crashing a lot today

  76. Isaiah Thompson-avatar

    Isaiah Thompson

Good app to look up different strains also check they background. 💪🏾😎

  77. Tif W-avatar

Update: It's only just getting worse. Every time I use this there are issues. It has a whole selection of dispensaries that "deliver" but...when I called they don't deliver. It shows deals and sales they're having with dates in 2021. And then I call the store and its gone Honestly, if this wasn't the most used app for my dispensaries, I wouldn't use this. It's hard to navigate, hard to find deals, doesn't display the right info on what's in stock, and I always have issues with click responses.

  78. Philip Robertin Jr-avatar

    Philip Robertin Jr

My roommate turned me onto this app. It's great. I can read reviews and suggestions for different strains. There is nothing really wrong with the app but I do have a few suggestions for improvements. Personally I would like a way to favorite a strain, future strain to try and or a way to check off what I have tried and liked.

  79. Andy Coffey-avatar

This app is great for cannabis enthusiasts everywhere. From interesting and varied articles, tutorials and news it's like a one stop shop for cannabis. My favorite part is just the strain search tool, I love being able to look up a strain while checking out a menu on weedmaps.

  80. Phlstn Sophopolis-avatar

    Phlstn Sophopolis

Serious privacy concerns with this app. You are unable to edit or delete reviews and if you entered your name while signing up, you will not be able to change it later on. Everyone will be able to see your full name.

  81. Tony Bonfiglio-avatar

App won't let me add to cart. Thumbs down

  82. Megan Houser-avatar

I used to love it. It went from an easy to use app to a hard to understand one. I can no longer easily find the information I want and when I find it I can hardly understand it. It's just a poor format now.

  83. Matt Maddog-avatar

Don't waste your time, they don't have deals and it's an app to other so called delivery apps that say in store only purchases

  84. Danielle H-avatar

Great app easy to find deals on marijuana anywhere u go!!!

  85. Braden Wright-avatar

Shouldn't have listened to your marketing department, Leafly. They ditched the bar graphs for some over-hyped, under-descriptive, star-shaped b.s. now! God forbid we want an app that provides information in a way that makes any sense. Uninstalled.

  86. Matthew Myers-avatar

Really well designed for an easy user interface and easy to understand a Strains DNA, origin and the parentage to which gave life to so many strains these days. The amount of Scientific research & findings being published is a lot of info. Leafly easily (s)toned it in down to latens terms that covered it well for so many. The Interface switch over is slower, not user friendly & definitely not worth letting the good version burn to ash. (A corporate designed sales plot for weed...yep!

  87. Carol D. Meier-avatar

I used to be able to quickly find the information I was looking for about each strain, but now I can't figure out what the heck those coded flowers are supposed to mean. At least bring back an easy way to see the effects. I'm just looking for information, not a puzzle.

  88. Robert Durham-avatar

Used to be amazing. Now jumps to their website... whats the point in utilizing their app if its going to just web browser. How disappointing, wish I could go back to the previous version. Would no longer recommend.

  89. Dennis Duchesneau-avatar

    Dennis Duchesneau

I like it for the most part, but it needs a lot of work. Most of the links provided in articles lead me to a blank page & Most of the strains I look up have very little information other than user reviews. It just seems....unfinished.

  90. Spot J-avatar

Cannabis and cbd are the same thing cannabis is the plant spectrum of both hemp(cbd) and marijuana (thc) You should change the title to your app

  91. Tim Levi-avatar

Used this for years. They've ruined it. Download anything else.

  92. Todd VanHaren-avatar

Great app for finding cannabis the legal way.

  93. J Dubs-avatar

What happened to the app I loved? The redsign is terrible. I appreciate that you are looking for ways to better deliver content but I really liked the old layout better. Can I get an option to choose between the two?

  94. Misty Duffey-avatar

This is a great place to order from.and they have awesome deals

  95. Christopher Crevier-avatar

    Christopher Crevier

New redesign of dispensary pages is awful. It won't sort the products for sale by price any more. They managed to make their app useless with a bad redesign meant to make it look pretty. Guess it's time to use a competitor.

  96. Yourboy4oh!-avatar

Redirects me to their website despite me looking things up on the app?? What's the point of telling me to download the app just to redirect me to the leafly website? These developers must be higher than any of their users. Didnt expect them to keep making this app progressively worse.

  97. Joseph Nathan-avatar

Always check here for local dispensary guide and menus, along with details on different cannabis strains

  98. Vladir Winters-avatar

Updated review Jan 2020: Leafly listened to customer feedback! and has restored the basics of what made it cool. Leafly Classics Strain List exists as an option from the good days, and the Available Nearby function was restored too. Yay

  99. H H-avatar

    Super friendly and fast

  100. Braden Dodge-avatar

So when did you guys stop updating your strains? There are a ton of high volume, high popularity strains missing. This is very disappointing, it seems like 9 times out of ten I can't find what I'm looking for. Please get back on your game guys, this app used to be bomb-diggity.
