The High School of the Planta is a canton Valais institution issuing certificates Matura. Located north of the city of Zion, it currently hosts more than 1,000 students, mostly from the central Valais (100 teachers).

Students have the opportunity to attend a bilingual program (800h), which comes in immersion courses (German disciplines: geography, history, visual arts, additional options, work maturity) and language courses (in German institutions nature). Close cooperation are established with institutions Zurich, Winterthur and Trogen.

Students receive "a balanced and coherent general training, which [their] confers maturity to undertake graduate studies and prepares them to take on responsibilities in society today.
