    lost of problems with this app, it won't continue in the last chapter, automatically connect to my Chromecast even if I don't want to, super annoying pop up about running in background until you finally say yes even if you don't want to, etc, etc, seriously I only paying this month and I'm out, does not worth the money go an buy another streaming service

    I'm tired of giving my time to this app. Is totally unreliable. Btw I'm using it with a chromecast. What is driving me crazy is the inconsistency of the errors: sometimes is black screen / plays only in the mobile device (not on the TV) / it freezes in the middle of a episode / some days it continusly ask for credentials. I've tried everything: force stopping, unnistalling, reinstalling, I even upgraded my ISP service and updated my phone. Im starting to think they didn't tested it at all.

    Good series and great movies. However, the whole app makes everything hard, from changing subtitles to even choosing an episode. Also, one bummer is that it does not have the 10 or 30 sec forward and backward as Netflix or YouTube. Need to invest a little bit more on the app, because for the price of the subscription I might as well get, Hulu w/ spotify.

    Everything stops in the middle and it won't play again no matter what you do, this used to be a really good platform but now it's not even worth to try, it has good content but if the platform is useless it's a waste of money, I'm sad cause I use to like it a lot.

    Interface is very buggy. Doesn't remember properly the titles I've seen. Downloads fail on the slightest bandwith fluctuation plus I can't get out and back in because it freezes or takes forever to load again. Did I mention it drains my battery faster than any app? One needs to have a lot of patience in order to use this app

    1. You can't view your watchlist when it surpasses a certain amount of titles. The older ones won't appear until you remove some items from the watchlist. 2. It won't remember the user login in several devices. 3. User interface is really detrimental. Not at all appealing. 4. Content is absolutely hard to find and not enough categories have been made. Only way to find every single title in the catalogue is by searching through the a to z sections. This app seriously needs some care.

    It freezes. It constantly asks for credentials. Sometimes, it doesn't save an episode you're watching and others it will keep a title on the main screen even when you've finished watching it. It has good series but the app sucks.

    Horrible! I was never able to watch a full movie on my tv using this app, always buffering, same thing on my phone or any device I tried. All other streaming service work just fine so i know it is definitely HBO. Also not my kind of movies.

    I don't know how a big company like HBO have an app like this, does not save the user name and password on my TV, does not save where you are in the money, it start every time from the begining, is slow, hard to use, movies are well organized, hard to search, every thing they can do bad they did it, pls you have a similar app everybody know pls copy all the functions and thats it, you don't have to invent anything just make it the same, as last suggestion pls add more content for families

    When opening the app it immediately connects to the Chromecast without asking which one. During the streaming you cannot advance or rewind during the episode. As a workaround, when minimizing the player and expand it again the player would mark the advanced bar where it's supposed to be and I could rewind. But now it isn't working with the workaround either.

    My subscription payment won't go through via Google Play. All my banking info is up to date with PayPal and my bank. I can't pay via my computer because the only option is on the mobile phone or a tablet. Please fix this type of issue and payment option.

    Casting to Google chrome is a mess. If I only open the app while watching something streamed from.another source, HBO go stops my streaming and takes control of mybdevice without asking. Sometimes when internet conn is slow, streaming stops and no comeback is possible unless I disconnect HBO from chromecast and then connect it back and resume is not an option since the minute wasn't saved. If there is a repo I could create the bugs if you need me to.

    This app should be optimised like Netflix or prime video apps (that uses your internet connection wisely) but this app streams and cut the video everytime even having 100 Mbps the video stops or have the audio going and the video freezes. Please try to fix this and maybe the people will change their mind. When you are casting to a Chromecast the same thing happens (video cut everytime and sometimes video freezes and audio goes on)

    The app connectes automatically to chromecast without asking also, It doesn't have english subtitles (CC) so it's really annoying. As one of the most expensive streaming service the quality is really bad

    I'm not able to watch a single movie without the app buffering and stuttering. And I have a 50mbps fibre optic connection. I have no problem watching 4k movies on Prime and Netflix but can't watch any HD movies here without these issues.

    On create ID window, Submit button doesn't work. I double check mail and password restrictions and simply nothing. Can't use the app. I'm a direcTV customer. My cell is a Huawei P30 Pro, Android 9.

    You would think that HBO would compete with Netflix or Prime but in reality this app sucks. The video pauses but audio keeps playing even if you have downloaded the video. At times it does not allow you to access the app from the get go and just shuts itself down. Once you watch the movie/episode it gets stuck in your timeline forever, even if you watch to the last second and won't go away.

    •The app takes forever to start up & when you lose patience & decide to use a different app it'll yank right back onto it once it finally decides to load. •Content constantly gets cut off while casting, you're sent back to the "Ready to cast" screen & when you try to replay it only gives you a LOAD_FAILED message even after rebooting the app & erasing the cache. •It constantly logs you out & half the time you have to reinstall it completely just to not get a "duplicate account" message.

    At the beginning I found it really hard to use. When I was watching something, the clip started to slow down but the audio keeps going. And it's almost impossible 'cause I keep open it but the app shut down itself before even start it.

    When i download around six videos and i play one of them, it never get reproduce so i can just have two or one videos downloaded to be able to watch it.. also when i want to watch a video downloaded with wifi i cant because for some reason the app just let me watch it without internet

    It's even worst than my previous review. It crushes and the only way to fix it is deleting the cache and the data which includes downloads. Today I'm trying to download an episode of my series and I can't becuase I'm only allowed to download it twice. I delete it because of your application, not becuase I wanted to do it... I hate this app. I really do. I'll watch the episode and bye bye hbo.

    I don't think I've used a more unnerving application than HBO GO, it's absurd, I try to watch one episode and if I happen to leave it at the credits it just starts skipping episode after episode after episode until it decides to stop and if I get lucky it takes 5 tries to start watching a new episode of whatever. And the smart TV app is even worse, now it constantly logs off every time I turn off the tv and freezes whenever I try to change the language. Honestly HBO GO is short of being a scam.

    For some reason it doesn't let me watch (some) episodes previously downloaded. It just says "this episode is no longer available". Please fix it since it mostly happens with long episodes and movies, and those are the ones I download for my son

    I'm paying with Dish Network and I can't use my app cause it doesn't recognize what I'm paying. I have HBO on my TV but not in my laptop when I used to watch it over there! Fix the damn bug I've been trying talk with a CSR and nobody answer my questions

    This is one of the worse app that I used. Why: 1. Constantly freezing, 2. you can't stop and retake what you was seeing, 3. The support team doesn't resolved issues (it's been more that a week and I can't see a chapter of a series because it has a bug and stopped in the same minute every time I tried to see). I installed this this app because the quality of the content but the delivery it is soo poor.

    It doesn't work on my phone, it keeps opening the help page in chrome no matter what you do, can't watch a thing. I'm only 2 days in into a 1 year subscription and I already regret it but they issue no refunds, it's full of bugs in Roku too, language keeps resetting and browsing is a nightmare. Stay away from it.

    The content is good, nevertheless, the app sucks. It's a miracle that my view history gets recorded at some point, but I rarely get to watch the episode I was in (I tend to forget, and the app does as well!) It seems to need a faster internet than other apps, so the quality of the video is never optimal. Besides, lately it's been crashing a lot and I can't even finish an episode of a series because it's too annoying to restart the app every 10-12 minutes.

    It is a terrible app. I am not being able to watch streaming because they have an "unknown source error". I cannot log in into my TV nor into other devices apart from the one I signed up, because the "data is incorrect" (when everything is correct). It does not even recognize chromecast to cast in other non smart TVs. And, I requested to reset my password and I am not getting the email with the link to do it. Absolutely disappointing.

    The TV on my living room has a Chromecast that works perfectly but in my room I have a TV with Chromecast built-in and when I cast something it won't show the subtitles. I have them on in my cellphone but they do not appear on my TV.

    the only good is the content; however the app sucks, you need to keep choosing the language settings, it fails a lot. Since a week ago I need to type my password every time I want to see something....

    You guys have great content both series and movies. However, the app for cellphones and TV's needs a ton of work. It's full of errors, takes a lot of time to load sometimes. Navigation is a complete pain. Whenever you stop watching something and restart watching it again. It doesn't put the movie back at the point you were in, it just restarts it. Please, dedicate more resources and work to make this app friendly user. You have the content, you are only missing a good platform.

    The worst app among the likes of it so far. To begin with, it only provides streaming and not downloading service. It doesn't provide English CC in my region.     You had like 2 years to prepare for Game of Thrones, 2 years to up your game and avoid having issues with your servers. Right now not only can I not watch episode 4, I can't even log in! But your servers never fail at the moment of charging. I can't believe I can watch it in different Facebook groups that are livestreaming, but I can't watch it on your app that I paid for the subscription🙄 I rather you guys give me my money back and I'll just watch the rest of the episodes in Facebook groups.

    Terrible app. Video quality is horrible, I've made several tests with different devices and the resolution just won't improve. I know it's the app because I don't have any problems with Netflix or any other streaming apps, it's only with HBO GO. I downloaded it and decided to pay only to watch GOT, but I'm disappointed of the video quality so I'll cancel my subscription and look elsewhere to continue watching GOT

    It has really good content but the app isn't as spected, it keeps playing in bad quality despite of my good internet connection. Sometimes the reproduction stops for some seconds and then continues as normal. My series episodes don't start where I left and start from the beginning, and sometimes movies and series don't appear on 'Continue Watching' so I've to look for them. My conclusion is that it's a good platform with great content but a bad app with poor reproduction quality.

    Very deficient app. Streaming does not play movies in HD. The apps constantly crashes. The technical assistance seems to be fine, but there are technical issues with the app that can't be fixed by the technical assistants. I had great expectations but they just fade away. I use Chromecast Ultra, top notch tech, with a 4K TV, good internet connection and a good Android phone with the latest updates. Only HBO Go fails horribly when streaming, this does not happen with Netflix, YouTube, or FB. Bad!

    One of the worst apps I have ever tried on my phone. Really, you can't even watch a movie or show without having the menu pop up on the screen every 20 seconds, It does not save your progress and you have to start over every time, it takes like forever to load, and i can go on and on woth lots of other bugs. I mean, spend a little money on development, it won't hurt you. And now, I can't login and watch anything, I just keep getting an error message. This app sucks.

    I've maybe rated two or three apps in my life. The amount of frustration I had with HBO GO is simply intolerable. I can't understand how someone with the amount of budget like HBO can't create a decent app! I have so many issues with it that it just doesn't fit on the deacription, but it really doesn't matter since all previous users already mentioned them. I just canceled my subscription, i couldn't keep up trying to work around all of the issues.

    words can't even express how absolutely terrible this app is. a terrible interface. they remove series without warning so you may be half way through and then it gets removed. and then to top it all the system crashes when their biggest show premiers - we spent 3 HOURS trying to connect to the service. customer supper was pitiful - they refuse to take responsibility and simply tell you to contact someone else. hbo don't deserve a cent of your money when their service is this bad. stick to d/ls

    HBO knows how to make a good show but they have the worst, most unfriendly user interface on both the app and the web page. If you want to binge watch some show in your bed, be prepared to get up after every episode to put the full screen on again. I tried to install the app on my phone, it never worked, just loading to infinity. Absolutly the worst design, tottaly useless. Unsubscribed after 2 months. Not recommanded.
