Kryss is the new, highly addictive game that lets two players test each other's imagination and vocabulary. The turn-based game is developed from the idea of transforming the traditional crossword solution - oldschool Scandinavian style - into a game where you compete against each other in the same crossword puzzle. You receive five letters each turn, then strive to place the letters in the crossword within a minute. There are several ways of outscoring your opponent, including a significant bonuses for completing words, for getting key letters right or for using all your five letters within a round. Then again: it might just pay off to keep one of the crucial letters for later use – when the stakes are higher. Kryss has the element of randomly awarded letters in common with other classic wordgames. But Kryss is faster, and it offers a logic and gaming experience which makes it feel like no other passtime you ever engaged in. It is pure yoga for the brain, meditation for the mind, and vocabulary training in a game, all the while being so easily accessible that it is loads of fun for both young and old. If I could rate this game lower i would. You can play with others and you can even play against a bot. Ads after every turn is crazy and you can't even play the game if you don't have internet so even battling the bot requires a internet connection, so good luck with word games on long travels, if you're looking for a fun word game I highly recommend looking somewhere else.

The game itself is fun, like a cross between Scrabble and a Crossword. However, the paywall is honestly ridiculous. There is a very limited number of free plays before you are forced to spend money, even if you only want to play against the AI. They have a subscription for $10/month or $100/year, but even then they limit the number of plays. You'd think with all the ads in the game they'd at least give you unlimited plays with their "premium" subscription. Don't waste your time on this cash grab

Seems like a fun game. It's just a shame that the ridiculous number of ads makes it pretty unbearable. seriously? an ad after EVERY turn? so every 20 seconds you have to sit through another ad? sorry, but I like the game play time to exceed the ad time at least a little bit.

I initially enjoyed this game me and my gf play it consistently as its a passtime for our long distance relationship. However, their clues and words are bogus, a big deer is NOT a moose, a moose is in no way a deer. Or use with the eyes =LO. How does this make sense? Its a good game to pass the time and enjoy a bit of 1-on-1 time with a friend or loved one. But it is exceedingly idiotic in its clues and words. They used Rim 2x in one game as a clue?!?!?

Edit: 90% of the time the game won't open. Just sticks on the loading page. Have to force close clear cache and then try. Sometimes that works, other times not.Fun game, but you run out of available games too quickly. It'd be nice if you won the game, your game board was returned. Please stop pushing ads between playing letters & viewing the board after the game; the game board times out & takes you to the lobby too quickly otherwise when there's an ad.

The game itself isn't bad. Kinda money hungry with the game boards, but an enjoyable game other than that. That's if the game decides to load. Sometimes it takes me closing the app and reloading it like 6 or 7 times. Needs to be fixed soon otherwise I'm just gonna stop playing it.

Fun game play. Ridiculous amount of ads and quick pay wall. ------------- Response to developer: I understand the need for ad income, but not being able to start a new game without spending money two days after downloading the app will simply result in finishing my last game and deleting the app. So you'll go from a little ad revenue from my usage to zero, as well as receive zero new players from my limited influence. Ad away! ---------------- Yes, there are a "variety" of ways, but after playing all of the game boards you start with, I had enough coins for three more boards, and then you can only watch a video for 1 board every 8 hours, and then you're back to spending cash. No way I'm inviting anyone to play when I can't play but one game a day. App deleted.

I loveeee this game but as of the past 2 weeks it most of the time will not load! LIKE RIGHT NOW!!! It stays on the beginning screen with the x, or if it gets past that, ill try to click on one of my opponents & NOTHING!! Just the liitle buffering circle thing!! Its starting to really fustrate me! This is my go to game anytime im waiting somewhere, standing in a line, going to bed & etc...so PLEASE PLEASE FIX IT!!! (Before I throw my phone)

I love this game but the reason it's not 5 stars is because of the game board situation. I know they have to make money somehow but I feel like there should be a reload on game boards. I think I shouldn't have to wait 24 hours to watch 3 ads to play 3 quick games and that's it. Maybe a reload on up to 5 game boards with 30 minutes-1 hour between each board you get back. Making it 2.5-5 hours to get a full reload of boards back! Then maybe include a notification when the game boards are full (:

I stumbled across this game one night when I couldn't sleep. I love it! It's super fun and takes up a lot of time. The only part I didn't like was the ads, but they come up after every other play. Other than that, I really enjoy this app!! 11/4/21- UPDATE I've had this game for a little over a year, and I'm going to uninstall. They jip you out of game boards, cust support is a joke, and in the quick play, they're always holding out letters, so your opponent wins.. This game is trash!
