This is by far the most comprehensive Keyboard (in terms of functionality) that I have found in the market place. Definitely worth the purchase price in order to unlock all the settings (including the vibrate and sound function). My only gripe is that the smilies are not displayed as graphics, instead they show as the keyboard keystrokes. Ace app tho :)

This is certainly better than the stock Android keyboard I had. I admit it took me a day or two to really get the settings where I wanted them. For example, I wasn't sure you could have a different default for landscape and portrait modes, but you can. It does give me fits with a few different words (like "I'll") even though I've added some to my User Dictionary. In landscape mode, I like how you can hold a key down to get the alternate value. Don't have switch between alpha/numeric so much.

This is not a bad keyboard, but I really missed the cursor keys that are standard on my HTC ThunderBolt. The way to the cursors on the Better Keyboard are awkward. Smart Keyboard allows me to add them to the screen below their keyboard, and it appears that the Better Keyboard skins work with Smart Keyboard. Win-win for me.

I like the visual of this app, but the quality of it lacks some. I'm constintly having to turn my phone off because the keypad is freezing.

Keyboard was great but I purchased the key for my Droid X and it would not work. That annoying clicking noise couldn't be stopped without key. Refund

Best keyboard I've ever used. Only thing is that when I type words ending with a g, it always puts two G's.. its annoying. Samsung Fascinate

First downloaded a demo to try with a language pack but language pack wouldn't work without this unlock key. Later turned out the language pack is not working properly. I suggest to enable language packs in demo version as for some people like me this is the main reason to supplement built-in Android keyboard.

Not sure why everyone else is having such a problem with this... This is not the app itself, this is an unlocker. Bought from inside the app, quit to home, went back in to "free" version, and all the features were enabled. Samsung Captivate.

I've used this for nearly 2 years & was thrilled with it. Now my phone has been excruciatingly slow & the only way to speed it up is to shut BK down.
