Horror in the Pacific is an exploration adventure game inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft, where players explore and investigate a large open world map, progressing though an engaging and exciting story. It is a mobile phone adaption of the classic text-based adventure genre, similar to the point-and-click classics. The game combines a bleak environment, an sense of underlying dread, and several moments of comedy to keep you entertained.

As the third game in the "Horror in the Darkness" series, Horror in the Pacific takes place several years after the events of Horror at Innsport. Called once again to investigate a case of a missing person, our protagonist is drawn to a small resort island in the Pacific, to uncover all new macabre horrors.

Another amazing installment with an incredible storyline, challenging puzzles, and hilarious but subtle humor. I highly recommend playing this along with the two preceding games as well. And a very special "thank you!" to the developer, Craig, for helping me out when I got stuck.

Brilliant game, so well put together. The story is much more involving than the first installment and although there is a lot of to and froing it's easy enough to navigate with the map. Some bits are tricky to figure out and to be honest I wouldn't have finished without the hints. Managed to complete it during naptime over a couple of days so I'm very happy. Gonna download the next one now. Massive praise to the developer. Keep up the good work! 😊

These adventures are JUST so good. You don't often die, so you can revel in the storytelling, you need to think and try stuff out (HOW THE HECK CAN YOU FISH?! There has GOT to be a way!), and they are immersive enough AND flexible enough to distract me during study breaks, but not during study time. I love, love, lllloooove them! Thank you, o creators!!

Cant go wrong with a text game. The details and environment blend really well together, not to mention, the plot is phenomenal. Reminds me of the old point and click games. The music works well, but it could use some variety. Each character in the game feels distinct and fitting. Effort is obvious throughout the end product. Great game overall, definetly worth playing.

My experience with this game was amazing!!! I was always solving mystery after mystery and learning more and more about the terrifying world that Karmic Shift Studios created in the island. I even was sad at some points for plot reasons! The experience was surreal! I have gotten premium for all three and love the Fast Travel feature! Thank you for a wonderful installment, Karmic Shift Studio!!!

Loved it, just like the others. The difficulty/randomness level is about right; I had to rely on hints a couple of times when I got stuck, but generally I was able to solve most puzzles with a mix of deduction and trial & error. It's well written with a good flavour of Lovecraftian horror and occasional humour ('Open the Maago'). I would say that the character background selection at the beginning seems contrived and pointless - I replayed in a separate role and it was almost exactly the same.

Quite fun and interesting interactive story. Asks you to pay for a premier version and a few perks but without them the game is still fun. It's not intrusive as far as monetization goes and that makes me want to support the people who made it, since holistic game design is practically a foreign concept to most mobile devs. Overall feeling positive.

Fun experience. Best of all, there are three possible endings. You choose your strength in war time at the beginning of the game, and that determines which of the three variations of the game you'll play. Try all three - each has enough variation to stump you even if you've defeated the game in another role.

This game, Horror in the Pacific, was a lot harder than the previous one. I think one of the reasons was that some of the item combinations weren't intuitive for me. I did eventually figure it out, and I'm glad I did, but it definitely got frustrating there in the middle. Was it fun? Yes. Am I glad I picked it up? You bet.

Loved this installment, despite all the backtracking. Glitched on my final hint, however, so I had to seek help in the reviews to realize I needed to look at the fireworks to use them in any way.
