Great app! Julien--I always have trouble when transfering to a new phone. Last time, you may recall, 30+ titles just vanished. I ended up having to re-enter them manually. You said it was impossible, but it happened. This time, I had a really hard time transferring the covers. It took me a couple of hours to figure it out, but I finally did. I would rather not have to spend time figuring out programs like Dropbpox, which I probably won't use again until the next time I get a new phone.

I'm happy with this app. It allows me to keep track of my 400+ books and I can download a csv file. I have an obsession with reading and cataloguing my collection. It is also handy when shopping at charity shops so I don't buy something I already have. I love the fact the fields are editable and accept voice recognition as well as OCR so if a summary does not automatically download it is easy to transfer straight from the back of the book either by reading the blurb or taking a photo.

I love it. It shows me to know what all books I have to keep track of what I have. The the option of the category you have. Very easy to understand and use. Very grateful for finding it. Thank you so much for making an app like this. I definitely give you 5 🌟. Have a blessed day and may you keep PROSPERING.

I am a preschool teacher and I have all of my books organized by theme in this app. I can search by title, author, and theme. I like that i just scan the book's barcode and the title, author, and a picture show up. Some books, maybe 15%, don't scan but they are easy to add on your own!

  5. guest-avatar

I used to use Goodreads but stopped because of the frustrating UI plus it was bought by Amazon. My Library is the best alternative so far! Especially now video games and comics have been added (in beta). The UI is good to use and not a faff at all. The one thing I'd like to see added is to be able to add ratings for myself. Perhaps also being able to categorise books in terms of genre/personal rating. Regardless, you're doing an amazing job. Thanks!

  6. guest-avatar

I was trying to find a really great app to keep track of my many books i have. That way i know i have them and dont buy duplicates. I thought i would just use this app maybe 3 times a year. But i find myself actually using this about 5-7 times a month. To add books i buy. Look up what books i already have. And to make sure that the book i have is the correct cover in the system. I really like this app it is one of the better ones i found.

  7. guest-avatar

This is a wonderful app to sort my collection of books. To get 5 stars, I wish I could create separate lists to sort my books - I have books at home, children's books and books at school, so being able to sort through those locations separately would be a nice feature.

  8. guest-avatar

I really like this app already. It's easy to use. I like that I'll be able to make sure I don't buy duplicate books. I like that there is a comic book list. Pretty cool. There are only a couple of things that I would change. I find the date order requirement annoying, because some books upload dates that aren't in the right order and i have to fix it. I would love to be able to share the lists with other people via a link. Also, I would like to make different genre book lists.

  9. guest-avatar

Great app for tracking my library! Sometimes the barcode scanner doesn't find the book or pulls the wrong book. I believe that is because of the ISBN database reusing numbers. From an IT professional, that is bad coding. Unfortunately that is nothing the developer of this app can do anything about.

  10. guest-avatar

I love this app! Having a lot books, this is the best way to keep track of my library. Getting older, there are times I wonder if I own a certain book while I'm out shopping, this app allows me to check preventing a double purchase. It allows me to scan/enter ISBN#, or add book manually if it isn't located. It allows the user to take a picture of the book in their library if it differs from the addition shown. It allows the user to mark book read & add notes. It allows sharing not messaging.

  11. guest-avatar

Really like the easy of the app and ability to store the a wishlist which moves over easily when the book is purchased. I am worried about the experiences of others if my phone breaks (all too frequent occurrence for me). Frustrated that I can't share the scanned items with my partner/children so that the duplication of book purchasing doesn't continue. We have tried every export/import combination we can think of to make it happen.

Realizing that I owned so many books I thought it necessary to make a list of my collection. The 'My Library' app is the answer. I have many books to add but there's no difficulty or frustration. 'My Library' makes it easy. Having this app is so useful for: ● Home owners insurance - in case of a loss. ● Knowing how my collection came to be. ● How long I've owned each book. ● How much each book cost. ● Read/Unread lists. ● And more! Highly recommended!

  13. guest-avatar

Edit: You can copy & paste but the app is very finicky about where you long tap to paste. After reading other snarky responses to app users, Mr. Keith kept up his snark streak. Congrats. It won't let you paste. I want to paste the ISBN onto the wish list so I can keep track of books in one place. It doesn't allow it, at least on my S9 note. I'm not sure how such a basic function isn't available.

  14. guest-avatar

Does pretty much what it says. I'd say around 1 in 10 books are not recognised, whether it's the bar code or ISBN, but it's still a great app for cataloguing a library. Just be aware that to get the best from it you'll need to do some manual editing (e.g. to ensure consistent spelling and formatting of author names) but if you're willing to put in the time then you'll reap the rewards! In response to dev comment: I know how it works. I'm not criticising the app, just pointing out its limits.

I have been using this app for over a year now. It has all the books in the house on it. Adding a new book is a doddle using the bar code reader. Almost all books are published with the ISBN as a barcode on the back. You scan that and the app does the rest. You'll have to enter the details of older books yourself, but that's not difficult. So dig out your Skakespeare first folio and get entering. This is a free app yet it behaves like you paid good money for it. Congrats to the developer.

  16. guest-avatar

So far so good! Love the ease of scanning the bar code but just as easy if I have to look up a book using title or ISBN #. When the book cover pops up, it's great, but again...easy to take a quick pic of the cover if it's not in the database. I like that I can tie as many categories to each book like topics, genres, or even study topics. The search is so easy and quick too! Highly recommend especially for teachers with a million books like me!!

  17. guest-avatar

This thing is awesome! Every now and then I have to rescan the barcode because it read the wrong number by taking the photo too quickly, but it pulls up the book with info and I can easily add it to my shelf! I'm not even close to halfway done cataloging everything I have, yet, but once I do, it'll be super easy to add books as I go!! And so handy when I shop so I don't accidentally buy one I already own. I do wish it added the series in automatically, but it asks for that manually.

  18. guest-avatar

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for: ISBN search, easy to use, cover pulled from online sources or even the option to use your own cover photos, etc.. It has everything to create your home library database. My only complaint is that there is no way to easily manage the database outside of android (yeah I know, complaining about an android app because it's ONLY for android...), I know we can export and import again the database in .xls but to be honest I just wish we could do all the tasks outside of the android limitation (inputting manually all those old books without a keyboard is going to be a nightmare..) maybe via a website or even an executable/program for windows with the option to export and then import directly into the app. Regardless, top quality, ease of use, scanner works 9 out of 10 times, amazing app.

  19. guest-avatar

Generally v good, small functionalities missing to make it perfect (so read this as 4.5 stars). Data import accuracy issues, esp. reg. author and year of publication (where several editions exist) are relatively common. While categories can be created, it's only possible to view these in search mode, better: option for multiple library files. Stats are useful, but same publisher may appear with only small variations w/o obvious way of integrating these (add search). Lots of potential, try it!

  20. guest-avatar

Really good! No ads, free use, and easy use. I do recommend for them to add a couple features like multiple scans, orginize in multiple ways like series etc, and a way to distinguish between the way you have it organized for ex if its by author than a line or something between the alphabet. And a way to look up online and get the info and picture when the barcode isbn doesnt work. Manual they have but itll be simpler if they found it and is missing thr pic thay you could add it from online.

    2020-02-19T03:21:09.939Z

Downloaded yesterday and have added over 300 books from my collection so far! I think categories could be improved but unsure as to how... My categories so far are a mess. I think allowing not just multiple categories to a book but the idea of sub-categories would be helpful. This way whilst searching you're not pulling every book from several categories but can sort by reading level (helpful when sorting children's books for different ages) fiction or non, genera, subject ECT.

  22. guest-avatar

I love this app its so much easier to keep track of everything than it is on goodreads. It would have 5 stars if I didn't have a recent problem. The app won't let me change the read status on any of my books. When I try and change it to read it changes back to unread 😫 Update: yess the refresh works. 5 stars for you.

  23. guest-avatar

Amazing! This app was exactly what I was looking for! i have over 100 books and counting in my personal library and I just wanted something that would scan and catalogue my books. This app does just that! Eternally grateful for this app! Thank you!

I am a advid reader and I some times forget if I have already read a book or not. This app is simple to use, really user friendly and has some cool feature like letting you know how many books you have read this month and this year vs last. You also have an option for video games as well as comics which in my view is a big plus. I just simply love it and would not change for another app. 🤩👍😁

  25. guest-avatar

They asked for a review before I even finished entering my juvenile fiction section so I'm not sure how it actually works yet but so far, so good. They have an option for manual entry when the ISBN isn't found or the barcode is missing. I'm not sure how that translates into what order to organize the books, which is why I downloaded this app. My library is a mess. I'll come back to this when I'm ready.

  26. guest-avatar

I love this app! Perfect functionality, easy to use, all instructions are simple and strait forward. Can't wait for Movies and Music libraries! And just want to add...the responses from the developer on the negative reviews are hilarious. I work in retail and can only dream of being able to speak that much truth to these people who have 0 reading comprehension or common sense! Keep doing what you're doing cause I love it!

I love this app to keep track if my coloring books. It helps me to no longer mess up and buy a book that I already have and have just forgotten about without me having to hunt thru all my books. I just do a quick search and whala I'll know in a split second what could have taken a couple hours to do manually. The only thing missing is a place to put the purchase price, so I just put it in the notes.

  28. guest-avatar

So far this is the best app like this I have found. Other apps had trouble finding books. So far I have only had to manually add a few, although I have a long way to go. Love that it has categories so it makes it easy to find what books I have on different topics. It will be very handy once I get all the books entered.

One improvement I'd like to see is to add the MSRP price of the title, and a used price of the title(market value) If you could have an option to allow people to browse your library, and if they want to purchase, they can buy it, also the option for them to 'check it out' a rental feature where they pay for a weekly, or monthly interval. Included would be a return label. If you could buy, and sell books it would be an absolute game changer that I think would dominate even Amazon.

  30. guest-avatar

Really pleased with this so far. It seems easy to add books and I can see them by author, title or category. It's very unusual for me to rank anything good or bad this quickly - five days since first install - but I really am pleased with the input process. When I get more of my 2,000 or so books entered and start to use the retrieval process I'll be in a position to give it a more complete rating, perhaps a 5 if that is as good as inputting.

  31. guest-avatar

It's ok but lacking key functions. The UI is good, OCR is fast and accurate on my Note 9. Easy to use. It's missing a Price/Value field. For contemporary books it should be able to look this up against the ISBN and return publishers RRP. Then you should be able to override to adjust. Essential for insurance purposes. Using the Notes doesn't cut it. Then you should be able to report on current recorded value of your library. The ISBN field needs a 'X to clear field' function. Not just backspace.

  32. guest-avatar

I've been searching for a library app like this for YEARS. Between the ability to scan in books via barcode (something I didn't even know I wanted, but love), the ability to mark books as part of a series and to upload my own covers, I'm ecstatic. I've yet to find myself wanting with this app.

  33. guest-avatar

This is a good apps for self-management of books. User friendly and easy to use. Nevertheless, it would be better if there is additional features such as bookmark as in until which page one had read for each respective books, and lending records as in the book is currently with whom. Hope the developer can consider this.

  34. guest-avatar

Fantastic app! I help out at a small library with some pretty old books, yet more than 70% of the books can be found. Hope the developer can add a feature to save separate libraries. I did get an ocassional misreading of ther barcode, and saw tee shirt and mugs instead of book title but that was more funny than annoying. Btw, the summary should be editable. Thanks so much for this excellent app!

So easy to use! Scans the bar code and brings up the book with all its info. You can add a ohoto if it doesn't have one. Great app for teachers to keep track of their classroom library. There's a notes section so you can log who has borrowed it.

  36. guest-avatar

Great tool to have when you have so many books and can't remember if you have that title or not. I frequently hit up book sales, and sometimes i forget i have a book and buy a duplicate. This will help me stay organized!

  37. guest-avatar

Love this app. I can now store all the names of my books in a convenient app without having to write them all down in a notebook and carry the notebook with me everywhere I look for new books or any of the books I am missing in a series. And it is so easy to input your books into the app just by scanning the isbn bar code. I had been looking for an app like this for a long time now. I finally found it with this app. I totally love this app.

  38. guest-avatar

My Library is a nice way to track my books, both currently owned, loaned, or passed on. It will allow you to scan the ISBN bar code and pull down available data, including the cover image if one is linked online. The only improvement I would suggest is a cover search function for existing entries w/o a cover images.

  39. guest-avatar

Very convenient app. The bar scan works well. Old books and independently published ones are found most of the time. I only encountered one annoying bug: when authors last name and first name are mixed, it is almost impossible to correct them. Let's say the scan automatically filled "Bradley, Marion Zimmer". If I try to edit it to "Zimmer Bradley, Marion", after saving it goes back to "Bradley, Marion Zimmer".

  40. guest-avatar

Love this app! Finally an incredibly easy way for us bibliophiles to inventory in a comprehensively detailed fashion our book collection! I wish I had discovered it years ago - the thought of fully cataloging 40 years of book purchases no longer seems overwhelming! Just scan the bar code and voila! Your done (unless you want to add further details manually which is just as easy !) I do a stack here and there over time, gradually I'll make my way through the entire collection. Great app!

Works great when it works. Too many network errors cleared by restarting app. Frequent ISBN search fails that are quickly resolved externally via Google. I would suggest a good title and author search feature as many older books don't have an ISBN available inside cover.

  42. guest-avatar

Great app. Perfect for cataloguing and keeping a track of your priced books. I would suggest adding a feature to pin the books to a location. My books are scattered around and it would be great to know where which book is.

Easy to use though I have to enter all my books by hand. A book cover scan would be a lot easier at times. Currently there are limited organizational options, which makes it hard when something is the same thing but a different series within the same world. Would like more categories to organize or the option to make new categories myself.

  44. guest-avatar

Great app for recording books read but it doesn't save this information anywhere but on your phone. My phone unexpectedly died (won't turn on, can't be fixed) and I've lost all my data as I hadn't manually exported my library (and I don't want to have to do this manually all the time).

  45. guest-avatar

Five stars doesn't mean there's not room for improvement: tabbing through fields on the manual entry form could be made more consistent (or what I would personally consider intuitive). Otherwise I am very glad to have this app and would happily contribute to its support. Thanks!

LOVE this app! Easiest way I've found to keep track of my extensive library that I'm constantly adding to. I shop at several used book stores and am constantly buying books. I read about 2-5 books a week and this app has saved me quite a few times from buying a book I already own.

  47. guest-avatar

The app will scan the barcode on a book and then fill in the essential publication details. Or, the ISBN number may be input with the same result. The details of books without an ISBN number may also be input. The summary may be saved as an Excel file or in other formats.

No problems thus far and what doesn't come up in the online sources are easy to input. Have been using for Books, Comics and Video Games. Video Games don't come up from the source often, but as that feature is a Beta I am not considering that feature when judging the product.

  49. guest-avatar

This app is fantastic! I have no trouble scanning ISBNs and it takes seconds to update your library with new acquisitions. It is also easy to manually add books printed long ago without bar codes. Your library can also be exported so you can back it up or share it.

  50. guest-avatar

This app has been a dream of mine, but I want even more: As we read or listen to multiple devices, ie, phones and tablets, I need to merge my reads from these devices. How do you respond to that? I'm asking for a perfect app to get phenomenal! Possible?

  51. guest-avatar

Got this app a couple months ago, because I go to thrift stores once a week and buy books... Only to get home and find that I've already bought a book, sometimes even 2-3 times. Since having this app downloaded I haven't duplicated yet. I love the barcode scan too, it makes things so easy.....

I have probably over 1000 cookbooks and this is a nice way to keep track of them so I don't buy duplicates. Whenever I get a new book, I just add it so I can refer to the list later. I would suggest this app if you are an avid reader and would like to keep track of your books.

  54. guest-avatar

Have just started using this app, so far no complaints. A couple of suggestions though: would be awesome if it could group all my authors together so i could just see books from that author. Otherwise loving the simplicity

I love this App! It allows me to keep track of the books I have. This has been a life saver when I go to book sales..no more duplicates. Easy to use, you can scan the barcode on the book and BINGO! it pulls the book up for you, or you can enter manually

  56. guest-avatar

Good to organize the books which i have been looking for a long time. I am not able to save series/volume for the books which is a big let down. Also, grouping the books by Category and showing them will avoid running the filter everytime to get a specific book.

I like the app and the fact that actually finds book by scanning. I would like it to have a progress option. So I can add what page I stopped reading and it showed the percentage of my books. I tend to switch between books now and then.

  59. guest-avatar

I like it. Really useful app. I can keep track of all the books I own, which of those I've read, and which ones I still want/need to buy. Has new sections for video games, manga and comics too. No bug encounters so far.

Love this app. I've scanned all my books into it. Its super easy to use. I can now keep track of all the books I own. You can put them by author or title and you can group them together by series. I highly recommend this app if you own a lot of books like me.

I love being able to keep track of what i read and what i want to read. So handy when im at the library or booksale. Have i read this book? What is the name or author of that book i wanted? So much info i can record. It's great.

Amazing app to maintain your own library if you're book hoarder like and often ending buying multiple copies of books because you remember you've got them. With literally all facility you need. Cheers to programmers!!

Great app to keep track of our library for our literacy program! I really like how it puts the cover in for the isbn numbers. Its very easy to use. Great custom features for unique books.

Love the app! Are you able to add a section in the statistics that shows, for example, all the books you read in 2019? I know it shows how many each month, but I think an overall view with the total number and list of titles would be nice 😊

  66. guest-avatar

This app is useful for me:easy to add a book to my library and to keep track of the entire collection. I am also grateful that this app keeps to be updated/mantained with continous improvements and fixes

  67. guest-avatar

So far, very easy to use and categorize my collection - hoping for a future update to include a movie section as well, given how simple it is to add and organize my books 😁

This app has been instramental in organizing my library. No ads, isbn scanning and the ability to Port it to csvs make it an obvious choice. One thing I would like is a separate category outside of wishlist items to keep track of books I read outside my library.

  69. guest-avatar

This is phenomenal - scanning is unbelievably fast, has easy manual entry when you need it, and multiple backup options. I've used others, but this is much much better. It's so good I voluntarily sent the developer money.

Absolutely awesome I looked at several apps and by far this is the best app to catalog your library. I love that our is able to look up and pull all metadata off the internet by ISBN, author, title. Also love the ability to back up to the cloud

  71. guest-avatar

I flipping LOVE this app!! I shop a lot at thrift stores for books and I love being able to scan them to see if I already have them. I have over 1400 books in my library at home so this app makes my life so much easier!

  72. guest-avatar

Really easy to use - you can either scan the bar code or search by title/author. Really handy for keeping track of books I already have (so I don't end up buying doubles!) and also adding books to a wishlist.

  73. guest-avatar

Easy to use, both when adding books and when search your library. Has saved me from buying a second copy because i can't remember if i bought the book already or if i had just looked at before. I have a problem, not enough book shelves.

Fantastic App, Really loving it, such a great way to keep track of your books. Helps me out a lot when I go to buy books too. Super easy to use.

Look no further for an app to manage your reading list and/or record your book collection. Simple to use but astonishingly effective. There are three "easy-to-use" option buttons to select - scan the ISBN barcode, search by ISBN number or manually input a record. A book summary will often be pulled from the Web and/or you can create your own notes. Been using it every day for a few weeks (am recording my large book collection) with no problems whatsoever. Highly recommended.

Am enjoying using the app the only criticism being when the ISBN number is scanned it dosent bring up all the details & they have to be entered manually. Otherwise great & love being a to keep track of what I have read.

  77. guest-avatar

I love this Ap it let's me keep track of my book collection and progress in reading them all. Great when in the book store to double check on multiple books by the same author so no accidental double purchases

  78. guest-avatar

I love this app, all my books are cataloged, I can keep track of my reading with no pressure and it's easy to use! Now when I go book shopping, which is a lot, I know what have and don't do any more re-buys!

  79. guest-avatar

Absolutely love this app! It comes in handy when you're out and need to know if you already have a certain book at home and if you're looking for certain books in a series and can't remember which ones you already have. Definitely comes in handy.

I'm using this app to track my granddaughters' progress to reading "a thousand books before kindergarten." It works more easily and reliably than the app that bears the name of the program to encourage reading with pres-schoolers. Thank you!

I think you should be able to change the order of your books manually because I've had 3 seperate series so far where books are out of numerical order. There are no differences in their title other than their volume number so it makes no sense why it's out of order.

  82. guest-avatar

I like it. Simple and easy way to keep track of the books I buy. The only downside is that I have to add most books manually as the ISBN cannot find them online

  83. guest-avatar

I had made a list of all the books I owned in a Word document that I printed out and carried with me. When I got a new book I wrote it in on my list, eventually updated it on the computer, & then reprinted it. It worked fine for me, but I wished for an easier way to keep track of what I owned. Then last week I found this app & it is exactly what I wanted. The only thing that would make it even better for me would be if, after sorting by Author, I could also sort my books by Series & Volume.

  84. guest-avatar

Very good app. Just scan new books to see if I have read them. Stops me buying books I have already read. As I read 2 or 3 a week.

  85. guest-avatar

Great app, easy to use. Love that it sorts read and unread books and tells you if you already own a title. My home library has 600+ books, the app has saved me so much time as I'd have to catalogue manually otherwise!

  86. guest-avatar

I love how easy the ISBN scanner is to use and how I am able to categorize all of my books to keep track of what I have and what I need. It is also awesome that you can save the list as an Excel sheet as a backup.

  87. guest-avatar

Add all your books via scan of the ISBN or manually enter the data for each book. Limited ability to sort books by either title or author. Good for keeping your books catalogued.

  88. guest-avatar

Scan the barcode and it does everything else for you. If you change phones, book covers disappear from the scanned entries, but still a great app!

  89. guest-avatar

This app is perfect for keeping track of your books! You can mark them as read, add notes, and categorize them so you can easily see what books you have in a series. I always use this at bookstores to make sure I don't buy duplicates. Edit: the only flaw I've found so far is that authors whose last names begin with an accented letter get shoved to the bottom of the alphabet. I would prefer to have Karel Čapek after the C's, rather than after the Z's.

I have been searching for an application which would be relatively easy to catalogue my personal library. This one works very well and I am thrilled with the progress I have made. It has been very helpful, and most of the ISBN numbers have been available, if the book has one printed in it. Many of my books were published before ISBNs were made. Because many of my books are ancient, ie before ISBNs became the standard, being able to search with LOCC numbers would be very helpful.

I like it but I would love it if it had the option of grid view because I don't like the list view that it has going on right now. I prefer seeing the book covers side by side rather than one after the other. Perhaps, three or four books horizontally across the row? Because that would be an ideal for me. And if you could, do you mind adding letters to even categorize it even more and to the scroll as well so that it's easier to navigate up and down? That would be a nice addition to the app.

  92. guest-avatar

App seems OK, but website is screwed up, can't log in, etc. Would be nice if you could track autographed books and the date they were acquired. Got tired of dealing with all the issues and uninstalled. Too much work for way too little.

  93. guest-avatar

I love this app and the ISBN scanner is super helpful! But, I wish there was an option to put the original publishing date as well as the one of the copy you own. I never know which one to put

  94. guest-avatar

Easy to use, fastest way to catalogue a large collection of books - very, very happy with this app and highly recommend it.

  95. guest-avatar

I love this app! I have over 1000 books on it, with more to add. Helps me know what books to buy or not buy when I'm out shopping.

  96. guest-avatar

As someone who has a large collection of books this app has been fantastic! The scanning feature is great, though older books that have different UPCs from the ISBN (or don't have one at all) you have to input manually or search for them. I'm particularly impressed with the number of titles and ISBNs it recognizes. I only had a couple of locally published anthologies that didn't come up. It would be nice to have more options for sorting books by but overall I would highly recommend this app!

  97. guest-avatar

I just stated using this app and I love how easy it is to upload books. It is great to be able to keep track of our library and know which books I have.

  98. guest-avatar

If they was a way to login in so that I can have it on different phones would be the best. I lost my last phone and lost all my books and I have more that 1000. So not being able to login in and out would be nice.

I like the app, but have a quick question: Is there any way to set the series volume number to a range? For instance, if I have The Foundation Trilogy book, which includes the first three books in the Foundation series, it would be nice to be able to input '1-3' or even '1,2,3' in the Volume numerical input field. Is this currently possible? If not, is it a possibility for the future? Thanks!

Great app! I am able to add lots of information easily, BUT, I am unable to sync it with my other device. I have it on my tablet but would like to have the same information on my phone.
