This App works really well. I noticed that possibly the other Apps or the phone itself will turn this App off giving the appearance that it doesn't work or function well. This isn't the case. I went to Settings, then scrolled down and clicked on Accessibility. I noticed that the App was somehow turned off by the phone device itself. I believe it was the security section where you select a password or pattern. I turned it back on and I haven't had a problem since. It seems to be a great App.

Perfectly useless in as far as my Android has this feature préinstalled. Had hoped this would enable me to lock the built-in ''Phone'' app to avoid making potentially costly calls by mistake. Yet it does not find it (neither did the stock Android AppLock). Plus it has. O search function and doesn't even list apps in alphabetical order.

Garbage. I'm usually generous with my comment but I give this 1 star and I mean it. Usually it takes 5 to 10 seconds before the app launched and lock the apps. The "Photo" and "Google Chrome" we're not listed unless I manually search them in search app. The worst part? Couple times it didn't even launch.

Trying to lock out Google play so the kids can't get in and download apps and this app locker doesn't work, why? Well the simple reason is that on the lock screen there is and ad and when clicked takes you straight to play store. Well how dumb is that, do you realize that you could have just added a remove ads option for $0.99 and you could have made about half a million dollars buy now because I would have paid 99 cents to remove the ads.

I've been looking for a lock so my little sister doesn't download what ever she wants but when I found this app it worked great. Other lock apps are not so great coz you can still download using adds and some other ones don't even work at all. But this doesn't allow anything related to an app that has a lock and I LOVE the intruder Selfie. It's a great feature to see who's intruding an app. IDKwhy other people say it doesn't work, I guess it works for me coz I use Samsung Tab E.

It won't lock all the apps you want it to. I tried locking What'sapp and every time I go to open the app, it goes straight into the app instead of asking me to enter a password first! It doesn't matter how many times I reset my phone, unlock and lock it again or just play around with it. There's nothing that's changing! I'm definitely deleting this one if they can't fix this problem

The app is good, sometimes the lock applies after a few seconds and the app which is locked can be used for a few seconds. One major missing part which I felt was that the key board on the lock should keep changing so that no 1 is able to see the code. I hope this is incorporated in the next update. Many app locks are providing this feature as it improves even further

I loved the Intruder Selfie feature without the shutter sound so the Intruder gets clicked without even getting to know (extra star for that). However, I found a Serious Bug/Defect which needs Urgent Fix. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Lock WhatsApp 2. Close AppLock 3. Open WhatsApp--> Lock screen appears 4. Do not enter the PIN or Pattern 5. Use the Close All button of your phone to close all Apps 6. Open WhatsApp again--> LOCK SCREEN DOES NOT APPEAR. SECURITY ISSUE!!! Please fix this ASAP. Thx!

Its okay, here a flaw. When you lock an app such as photos or (gallery) on android. The app locks perfectly if you try to open it normally however, if you dont have you texting app locked then everytime you go to your text messages then go to add a photo to a conversation from you gallery you may then freely look through all photos at the viewers discretion woth out having to deal with the app lock at all.

It does not lock apps correctly.. It will lock the app then, If you drop the app down then open it up again - it shows the app content. This is bad protection. It is much worse than the original AppLock!

I love this app! The obvious that anybody can be delete it if they know what they're looking for is a problem but unavoidable. Switching it to a calculator fake icon clearly helps a whole lot to avoid that. Bottom line, it's always worked very well for me and I highly recommend it to protect your privacy! there is a serious bug in the app if someone open a locked app(with app lock) then press the button that shows all open apps and click the locked app again it will be open without issue this is not a simple bug but a serious one that makes me feel the app devs are really unprofessional and the app totally useless

once I downloaded applock it was okay and it worked fairly well but then I realized it was really draining my battery. my battery started going down alot faster so I deleted the app. when I deleted the app I started getting a huge amount of random ads on my phone. not just like on games and YouTube and stuff, on my actual lock and homescreen and still do which is extremely annoying. so I do not recommend this app.

Wth. This has so much potential! But it just doesn't respond 100% of the time. SUPER UNFORTUNATE!!! 😣 I may check back later in hopes of updates but dang. This app was third by searching "app lock"; I'd suggest taking advantage of that and UPDATE asap. My issue was mainly when having "Settings" as a locked app. The animation worked, the AppLock screen popped up, but would then freeze. Tried the reg stuff to fix the issue, nothing. I will add that I am running Fluid N.G. and noticed that it prevented me from using the Battery Saver option in AppLock. Unsure. I'll check back though. Thanks! 3 star for now. S9

Overall the app is very good, BUT i gave it 3 stars because there is a serious bug where the app dose not do what its created for. Open an app that you looked with this app, where the pass screen shows up. However, don't enter your password just click the button where it shows what apps are currently open, after that click on the app that you want to open with the password, and WALA the app is open without the pass.

$$$For just an hour stay this app is deceving and act like virus itself when apps are clearly locked but did not pass the lock screen and later on under notificaton, sayngg "unlocked with lock pic shows on the left means unlocked abd then after clicking it, all photis were unlocked, so through the notification thst deceptive, it served as unlocking all the apps. i will come back for more about this app. it is worse than trojon hoese.

Everytime i accidentally get the lock wrong i here like a camera taking a picture on my phone which creeps me out like the app is taking pictures of me, and i checked my gallery and there's no pictures of me or anything that got my lock wrong so the app is hacked or the app itself takes pictures of people. Idk if this happened to anyone. Kinda creepy

Sometimes doesn't even lock my apps (doesn't even appear, even after closing and re-opening the app (and unlocking and locking everything again). Works better when you just install it, doesn't work over time. I really like the camera feature tho.

i thought i could select the photos from my gallery and hide them in the app...not just locking the whole gallery. it would be one of the best app locks if you designed it that way . when u lock the whole gallery ,people suspect that u are hiding smthing. 1) If click button to minimise/toggle/close apps, you can swipe AppLock away & access everything 2) If enter incorrect applock password, it prompts for AppLock to have camera permissions & allows you to click no, bypassing the intruder photo 3) Can minimise app, go to settings for apps, turn off camera permissions for AppLock without a password prompt. 4) Takes several seconds for the AppLock password prompt to appear giving stalker time to see stuff 5) Doesnt stop anyone from uninstalling it

The app was excellent and was the best of its kind. After the update the app are opened without the applock asking me for password. Also after the update the application stopped asking me if i want to lock this new app. So please undo the stupid updates.

It locked the application but whenever I rebooted my phone all the application were unlocked. I had to open app lock to lock them again. Only opening the app locked the application again. And all the other things were good.😀😀 Please Look on the matter.....

The security feature is easy to bypass. Even my son managed yo do it. When a particular app is locked with Applock, through power on/off twice one can easily access the locked app. What's the meaning of having such app then??

At first use seems good as locked apps appear locked n there is little intrusion in terms of nags n ads. However after a couple of days one of my locked apps became unlocked. No amount of tweaking can relock it. Such a shame. Was getting to like this app lock

pointless. bypass by viewing ad and then returning straight to the app via 'open apps'. e.g. lock whatsapp. then try to open app. don't put code in. click on ad to be redirected to ad website. go to 'open apps'. click on whatsapp. whatsapp opens without the applock code. waste of time!

it does work but the locked apps can still be opened by going to recent app and removing that "lock" by swiping it, then view the photos still from that recent apps tab by choosing it without the password protection popping up again for that locked app. great -_-

I would like to pay to remove ads but can't find where to that or a license app (pro version). Having ads run within the (most likely insecure) browser of the app is unacceptable as this exposes one to malicious ads that can infect the device with malware.

Only problems I have thus far which would be great for developer to fix: ease make deleting the app password protected. Does little good whne children or whoever can just delete the app. also, please make it so have to log in BEFORE makibg calls. Fir now it pops up just AFTER the call starts.

wouldnt work. each time i unlock an app, it cleared like it was about to open and then requiers you to continuously enter the unlock code and never open. uninstalled multip times, still wont wok right.

Dont like... Had liked at first, but when u click on whatsapp u can go through that app, see what youre looking for, then Applock closes it and u have to use the password to reopen it...thats a security breach im going to uninstall immediately.

It's garbage, I can get around it very easily. A five year old can easily know how to get in without a password, either open in a little tab, or go to settings and make it so apps can over lap it, then force close, it just dies.

my five year old figured out you can delete the app itself we dont require passcodes to start the tablet. we require them so he cant download and mess up his tablet. well he deleted this app lock because it is not in its own list.. fix and ill give better stars p.s. all app locks have this major flaw.

When I've opened an app which is zepeto, the lock works just well but when I've opened the app from the 'recent tab' and opened zepeto,there's no app lock to protect the app! Please fix this. I'm going to uninstall.

it needed a 6 digits pin which is a little too long for me.. and if someone really wanted to snoop on my phone they could easily uninstall the app lock itself without any password and all the locked apps would be open now.. or is it like that with all the app lock app? Very bad app it takes a sec for the lock to show so when you open an app for example is the Gallery it shows my pictures first before the lock shows.
