This is an application for using the internal infrared blaster of many modern smartphones - with the long-term aim to support most devices with infrared-remote control and their functions as possible. The format of the remotes has been designed in a very flexible way and the full layout with codes can be edited via the app and an import / export method. Supported devices: - Any smartphone or tablet using Android 4.4 or higher with an infrared blaster / emitter (only if the API was correctly implemented by the manufacturer, Some SONY devices are NOT supported because they can not send RAW codes!) - Other: Xiaomi Mi4, Cubot X12, Huawei Honor 8 - LG G3, G4, G5 and newer (Some older LGs are not supported because the LG API does not support raw codes on them) - Samsung devices with Infrared and Stock-ROM will work on Android below Kitkat too. - HTC devices below 4.4 are supported as well but may cause problems (Contact me if you need assistance) - Support for Medion Lifetab S7852 and S10334 and other Lenovo devices with infrared. - If your device has infrared and does not work, please contact with additional info so i can check if support can be added. If the device you want to control is not available send me an E-Mail request and i will try to add it into the database when i have time. Also feel free to search for working discrete Codes yourself and send them in (LIRC, Pronto Hex etc) to make my research easier and build the database faster. Could easily find some of my devices and they work fine. Unfortunately I have no idea how to teach it to support my other devices, e.g. an old Cubecafe sat-receiver. I'm using Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Unfortunately, the latest update does not install on Android 10.

Works well with compatible devices! Description said some Samsung devices below KitKat could work, but sadly it does not work on my Galaxy Tab 2. I have a Note and it works great on it at least!

This app is actually useful. All other remote apps are rubbish, only show a few buttons on each page and have terrible subscription models, full page ads and hard to use UI. This app isn't perfect, but it's way better than anything else. Protip: look at the model number of your existing remote and pick the closest to that number, not the tv or device.

Just the best IR app after trying so many. Easy to add remote from remote database, custom remote for a spacific layout, widgets!!¡! and non invasive adds(I dont notice them). After trying some other painful apps and pretty much giving up hope of turning my IR android into a universal remote I would (if I could) rate this a 6 or maybe 7 out of 5

Very nice television remote control app! Works well on TVs, cable satellite set top boxes, DVD players, etc. Just need to look at the brand and model, or make a guess. Using my Samsung Galaxy S5's IR Blaster (infrared remote). It would be cool if the developer made this app open source, I'd love to toy with it on Github!

Very good. You can really customise it and add your own codes, but it already had codes for all my hardware. Easy to switch remotes as well. There's one thing I'd like to add though, please let me pay to remove advertisements. I do not like adverts on apps I intend to use frequently. That said, the addvertisements are not intrusive at least, hence the rating.

This is the first app I've rated. I've looked through so many apps trying to find something that actually works, that didn't seem like there was some alterier motive behind it. After plenty of searching, I found this. Great job. Found a similar Sony receiver that worked. Sony don't even update their own app. Really happy with what you've done. More than just the 6 buttons others offer too. Keep up the good work.

Very handy. Even if you only use as a backup remote, like when you lose one or troubleshoot faulty remotes problems ... or great for pranks at a friend's house :) Database is big enough such that even if I can't find the exact model, there are similar models which work usually with 100% of functions. I have an old TV from a lesser known brand and after I lost the remote for it, I started trying IR remote apps to see if they would work with it. After sifting through probably docens, this one not only worked with my TV, it also let me edit the hex code for the buttons, so I was able to make all of the buttons work properly by swapping the hex codes in the ones that didn't. Exceptional app, I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
