The app seriously needs updating in the export section. I only can record live shows as they happen not pre-recorded shows and then upload them. Your software really needs to be updated as far as exporting your video files and audio files Go. Has to be one of the worst video audio editing softwares I've ever encountered in all my years of doing audio. The only choices I get on export is FTP or export to drive that is it I can't ask for it to my phone I can't even find the file after I record it

Will not work without location permissions, therefore, it was un-installed and assigned to the bit bucket. There is no need for location permissions on a recorder.

Whenever the app starts it asks for permission to override "Do Not Disturb". One cannot get out of this screen or say "no" to this. Utterly useless app.

would be nice if this worked. i have some problems with my irig stream slowing down when ilisten to the audio recorder. this app doesnt even open. i have an xperia 5 mark ll. Ondy reason i put a star on it is because it seems to require that for giving a review.

It's a very good app for making music and such my only issue is the stuff you gotta buy if ur looking to try and get effects don't buy the pro thing that says one convenient buy it's bs you have to buy all of the packs individually that's my only issue

I got the MicCast 2 to use for video song recordings, but this app makes it unusable. It's extremely glitchy every single time I use it. It loses songs I just recorded, or only recovers pieces of them. It stops recording mid-song, the playback cuts out partway through songs, and the app turns off all the time with an error message saying "irig stopped working. start app again or exit". I used it a few times to give it a chance, but again, found it unusable. I'll just use my own phone camera app.

Cannot Import Music Tracks...why?!?!?!? Another IK waste. If you are a vocalist AVOID IK MULTIMEDIA. Could have been a good app but it's all about selling you ad-ons. I recorded a track using VocalLive on another platform.(they don't have it for Android) I wanted to use that track to lipsynch to to make a video. I could not find a simple straightforward way to import it into iRig Recorder. I thought I would re-record it using this Recorder but of course I cannot import a backing track so after wasting hours on Google (the manual is useless) I gave up and used something else. If you are a vocalist AVOID THEIR PRODUCTS. Their interfaces are non-intuitive and clunky. Touching the wrong part of a screen will cause one of their incessant ads to pop up. Their user manuals are a waste of time. I am so glad that I have more options than IK like I did when I started out with their iRig mic. I bought the mic because it said you would receive a full version of their software. No you don't. You get very basic software that pushes you to buy their addons. If you purchase add-ons then change your device you will lose them. Sometimes they disappear for no reason at all. If you reach out for help, you will be ignored. If you want total frustration buy an IK multimedia product.

Too many ads and they pop up in the middle of you trying to record. Turn off all internet access for best results. Personally for volume control reasons, I perfer Voice Recorder. With it's automatic level control, I only have to deal with the volume control on my mic preamp. iRig should add automatic volume level. Instructions for iRig leaves much to be desired.

Generally good app, with many editing features as well! Works OK on my older Samsung Android 7 phone. After making a recording, the file will not appear in the internal Music folder, until you export it. iRig lets you export either audio or video. My only significant criticism is that the iRig app forces you to provide your GPS location. If you turn off GPS permission, the app will not run at all.

The only issue that I'm having that's keeping me from giving a 5-star rating is when I record inside of the app, I cannot change from mono to stereo in the settings. Mono is greyed out. If this can be changed, then the product would do me so much good.
