They literally release an update to their app once or twice a month. With every update their app gets worse and worse. I bought a monthly plan for irent recently and was using the old app. Suddenly they decide to do a major update to the app. When I use the app, it constantly crashes and is slow to load. Also, it asks me to upload my drivers licenses again. So, did you lose the data?? I uploaded it again and now the app tells me to wait two days! Customer service never picks up phone! Avoid!

I was heavy user about i-rent, but this time I am really disappointed your service. After updated, the app won't let me book the car and window been stuck in "please bind credit card otherwise it isn't available to reserve service". However, I already bind my credit card!!! In addition, page turn is extremely not smooth and progress circle is always running without purpose. You should consider fire IT, your good reputation is destroyed in this update. It is super suck and super inconvenient.

I have no problem with the app tho sometimes it was a bit slow, speed can be improved. CS was also good, immediately took my call and helped me answering the questions. 300NT a day for an electric scooter is value for money, I needed to change the battery 3 times tho it was easy to find the station. I was even impressed by the availability of the battery swapping station, I thought only gogoro will have a lot of charging station. Basically most of kymco showrooms will have ionex station.

**This review is for the scooter sharing app only***PROS: The customer service through Facebook messenger has been good. Customer service on the phone has been non-existent. I've called 3 times and waited on hold for about 15 minutes (English option) before finally hanging up. Now I only message thru FB messenger and always get a reply fairly quickly. **********Initially you pay $10 for 6 minutes. If you do not use your 6 minutes, the extra time will be banked and when you have enough banked unused minutes, you can choose to use those minutes so your ride is free.*********Scooters are comfortable and drive well. *********CONS: GPS can be horrible. Sometimes it's accurate while other times I waste more than 5 minutes looking where the map says the scooter is, only to find it about 50 meters away. This is especially tru for when the scooter is parked at an intersection. As I waste time looking for the scooter, my reservation runs out and someone else reserves it.********* The app is sometimes slow, and maybe 2 out of 10 uses it demands that it connects to bluetooth. You have no option but to accept, then once it connects the app closes.*****The app is only in Chinese which has required some trial and error to figure out. If WeMo scooter sharing can have English options in their app, iRent should be able to as well. I can navigate the Chinese app but for new users who can't read Chinese, it would be a nightmare. **************EDIT: I messaged customer service and they told me that reservations can be extended by clicking on the reservation time in the app. Make the reservation and it shows the time your scooter is reserved to. Click on that time and there's an option to extend it.

This is terrible app. I was a heavy user before update app. I couldn't book any scooter ever since update. After being forced to update the app, it asked me to resubmit my license so that I have to wait another couple days even though I have been using i rent for 1 year. And, the new version always asks me to re-login and update app even i just updated 2 days ago. It stop me to book because always need to update when I urgently need to ride. one last thing,very difficult to verify credit card.

Complained multiple times already about their nonsense map returning point for road side renting. It's even worse after update, funny that cars can be parked inside universities and where there are actually parking spots they don't open in Danshui and they only open too busy areas or too far away areas in Danshui. Customer service: "I am sorry it is like this" Supervisor: "mgt will call you asap" Mgt: "don't have time to call clients, their comments are not important." Incompetent Mgt team.
