Everything works until you reach a 60 Day limit. Only a limited number of banks are supported when you need to transfer more than that limit. Transfer to the Netherlands takes 5 days on average. Competition does it in 2 days, but you'll pay a little more. -update- apparently the maximum amount for transfers within 60 days has been increased. Also my last transfer only needed 2 days to complete, so that's a vast improvement. Update: app works fine now, a d transfers are much faster. 👍

Not able to add PNC bank, I messaged customer service but they said third-party doesn't support. But why it showing the option to add PNC? Waste of time.

The app while easy to use is clunky and not fully reliable. Example: it will tell you it has sent you an OTP which is valid only for 30 secs but the OTP comes in 10 mins later. Also, had issues with remittance when funds sent didn't arrive until 10 days later and it took multiple phone calls to get it resolved. They do give a higher exchange rate than Xoom though.

Great app and has saved me lots of money. I really recommend this app because it has a very competitive rate and also you can gain points in every successful transaction! The company gives discounts, coupons, and even points just for giving a review of their app which I am looking forward to get 30 points from just giving a review :)

The best exchange rate one can get anywhere. They give you the real exchange rate for the day. The process is slower as compared to any other transfer systems. If it is not urgent but you want best exchange rate, none other can be your choice than InstaRem. The name doesn't suit by the way, but I hope they are in process of getting it fixed.

Transfers take a long time to complete and customer service is really bad/unhelpful. The last transfer I did was cancelled by the staff with no explanation given. Following is their response "Greetings from InstaReM. We request you to please get in touch with your bank for the transaction initiated by you and the refund of the funds as well. We are unable to provide you any further information on the same."

I've given many chances to instarem due to the high exchange rate although a system issue always comes up. When adding a funding account, a 'something went wrong' error always appeared. I figured to use the payee method to bypass this error which functioned well for the first three transactions although the next two I'm asked to provide a bank statement. I don't mind so much except their website only allows one document at a time when often it is also necessary to submit a screenshot too.

In less than two months and two transfers, I have had the absolute worst experience with Instarem that has baffled and frustrated me beyond anything I've experienced before. To be brief, my first transfer took about a week to complete after several delays and phone calls with customer service. My second transfer was canceled days after being scheduled, and then my account was suddenly blocked permanently by Instarem, with no explanation other than "internal terms and policies."
