The perfect mobile game for a long time, until the endgame, where new, convoluted, shoehorned mechanics shoot the game in the foot and make it a drag. You can still play other parts of the game, but trying to progress past stage A and stage 6 feels like being punished. Still, it's a not-garbage payment model for a phone game that's basically fun, putting it automatically in the 95th percentile of phone games.

Lol @ the people complaining about difficulty or calling it p2w. They obviously haven't done any work in the research tree if they think the game is too hard. P2W? The only thing worth buying is the $5 double gain, which is a one time purchase. Played for hundreds of hours and still haven't spent any more money.

i dont normally write reviews for apps but i felt like this game deserved one. so anyways this game is super addicting, basically endless replayability, its very small in storage size (under 100 mb), and it doesnt force you to watch ads, only let's your watch ads when you want to and i seriously cant thank the creators enough for doing that. love this game 5/5 stars

Apparently if you play this game long enough to watch near 500, specifically 485 ads (which is also the point where you would earn a double payout for 2 weeks) you then can play an ad free version of the game as you no longer have a prompt at the end of levels or the ability for free currency by watching a short ad.

It's pretty easy to learn the game and quite engaging in the middle of games and between games. Progression is detailed and I'm sure there's a meta, but there's not a whole lot of competition against players, so I feel fine being casual. While there are in-app purchases, they don't look like they provide unfair value, and the game is just fine without paying. All ads are optional.

This game is my ideal mobile game. No ads, hours of playability (no lives limiting how many rounds I can play), easy to learn, and just as easy to jump back into. There's a better balance and variety from the 1st game, but both remain installed and regularly played. It's the perfect boredom breaker. I could not recommend this more and it constantly has me yearning for the same experience in other genres of games.

There's so much going on but it works well and fast and let's me play between iPad and Android. I don't understand mining at all... Sometimes there are there, sometimes not but overall really fun game.

Let me first start off by saying i dont like writing reviews for anything because its usually a waste of my time. I categorize this game in with something i like to call the pokemon category: very low file size and extremely simple, but tons of hours of playing and replayability. This is hands down the best tower defense game in existence and i have played a LOT of tower defense games as i grew up playing them. Definitely a 5/5 and I'd give it more stars if possible.

Honed in on the fundamentals of tower defense genre, with very deep updgrade trees. Maps can get extremely complex. In app purchases are not intrusive. Slick and clean all the way through.

Game doesn't end so if you have a banger defense you can go to way latter waves and get rewards based on how far you go which in my opinion is way better than doing the get to a certain wave then it ends and even if you (have the option to) continue you don't get any rewards for it
