If it's advertised as free I don't expect to pay after just a few minutes but I paid $1 cause I enjoyed the graphic and the atmosphere of the game. My biggest disappointment was the game I too easy and way too short. I finished the game in two days without a hint. It's shame as with more effort, this could be an awesome game.

I love the point and click games, play everyone I can find and this one is as good as many I have played. Not too hard but not too easy to finish. I hate the new controls most horror games have so I have deleted many for that reason. I love this one so far, just getting started but would recommend to anyone who loves the old style point and click. Has a great story and so far has kept me wanting to play. Hope the developers have more to come as I will play those also. Thanks for a great game...

I really like this game. it's fun to play, it has challenging puzzles. there are, however a few things to mention: there are only a certain number of hints available, and they do not replenish themselves as with other games of this kind. Also there is one thing that bothers me a bit. You cannot zoom in on puzzles in order to see the detail in order to solve the puzzle. I have to take a screenshot in order to zoom in on my phone. I'm not sure if the paid version is better. overall good game!

First of all the "free" version isn't really free! It gives you like 5 hints and then you have to pay .99 cents for every 5 hints after that! Second there's no complete story line that tells the full story of what the mystery of the manor is so when you finally escape that's it! It cuts off into a cutscene with no explanation or understanding of why you end up there. So you never learn the complete truth about the manor! And to think I was dumb enough to buy the full version which is identical!

I was actually liking the game, but after a few minutes playing, I realised it is NOT FREE!! If I had longer to play, like normal free demos, then I might have payed to continue, but not after such a very short time and not being made aware of this before I started to play, annoyed me even more!! I'm not impressed, so deleting!! 😠

Overall frustrating, though atmospheric and individual puzzles are good. So is the artwork, but full of things that look tappable but aren't. The ending left me feeling there was unfinished business. Too much hinted at that I wanted to go back to. I assume the bucket is intended as a joke - but what about the photo of the base of the tree? And I agree with everyone else that hints should be free, or at least a heck of a lot cheaper. I probably won't pay for another game from this developer.

I liked this game, but it felt too short. The wrap up at the end felt lazy and rushed. Why is there a second bucket in the tunnel to the church? I didn't expect the game to end shortly after that, and I still had the bucket. I started the game over, for my own curiosity, and that bucket is useless. I also noticed that the clue you get with the telescope is useless as well, since you have to solve that puzzle before you can get that clue.

I love atmospheric puzzle games and this is exactly what I look for. Creepy setting, dark music, excellent sound design. For $0.99 I feel the enjoyment I got out of the story was well worth it. The only thing I'm left wanting is more! Looking forward to other games from this developer!

One of the first point and click adventure games I ever played and I still love it. If you like exploring once grand, but now decaying, old Gothic/Victorian Mansions, you'll love it. The haunting, melancholy background music adds to the creepy, but beautiful atmosphere. I enjoyed reading the journal entries-it made this almost feel like a walk through graphic novel. Since this is an old game, don't expect a lot of 'bells and whistles' like skip features, cut scenes, fast travel maps etc...

But as happens so often with this type of game, some obscure clues mean long periods of boredom and frustration as you wander repeatedly around the same territory looking to reveal something that will allow you to make progress.
