You're a suspected terrorist in an unfair interrogation. Answer questions. Don't forget.

What is Indefinite?
A dystopian interactive story? An immersive text-based experience? A tough multiple-choice brain training memory game? Is it a mixture of science fiction, horror, and absurd computer generated humor? Indefinite is Indefinite. It doesn't fit into any genre.

In this intense interrogation simulation game, you must continuously answer questions while trying to keep your story straight. If your memory fails or you don't answer quickly enough, then you will be found guilty and punished. Get ready to face a perceptive lie-detecting interrogator. Will your concentration falter? Do you choose to fight for your innocence or just plead guilty? How long do you endure the anxiety? The choice is yours.

"One of the strangest game concepts I've come across in recent years." - iafrica.com

"This is the rare text-based game that manages to be both simple and incredibly unsettling at the same time." - Android Police

Were you the mastermind behind The Incident, or a pawn in a greater conspiracy?
The dystopia of the future was shaken up by a catastrophic global event called The Incident. Now the totalitarian world government, desperate for suspects, has chosen you for questioning. As you play, you will unravel the mysterious circumstances surrounding The Incident and discover how innocent or guilty you are. Your answer choices will produce a custom ending and can even lead to different outcomes. And the more you answer, the more revealing your ending will be.

What are the features?
- Over 40 unique questions and 100 unique answers
- Smart timer that adjusts based on question-length
- Multiple endings in a strange dystopian story
- Custom end report generated based on your answers to questions
- End report sharing to social media with one button

What is the setting? What is going on?
This game is set in a dystopian sci-fi future. Everything is ambiguous. There is no straightforward story. Human rights are obsolete; this is a time of political and religious persecution. Of power and control. Of forces beyond comprehension. More details can be found in the much larger sequel, Indefinite 2.

Why in-app purchases?
Your tormentors will interrogate you for free. But you should bribe them to improve your conditions.

Why do you need network access?
We require network access to enhance our interrogation techniques in response to new threats. There is no conspiracy to compromise your privacy.

I like the game and the concept, but it goes by a little too fast. As someone with anxiety, short term memory and is very indescisive, it's a little hard to play when you only have three seconds to choose your answer. Besides that, it's a pretty fun game. It makes me feel like I'm actually being questioned too, and I only panicked and chose the wrong answer once so far when I didn't remember what it was. (P.S sorry for any grammar mistakes! On old phone w/ no autocorrect.)

It is very good. What I would suggest is to add a "good" ending, but in the sense that one has to do some...morally questionable things to get there. I would add more to the concept Also to make this seem like more of an actual interrogation, you should prevent details from contradicting each other ie eating and enjoying nature at the same time.

Really good concentration game! But be forwarned, play this when there isn't anybody or anything to distract you or it may end up causing you to loose it after doing so well because a certain someone or something is in the room & won't shut up or leave you alone. Just kidding. But still.... Unless of course you want to torture yourself & a real challenge and play this in room with friends and family. Lol.

Awesome game. Definitely worth paying to get the intense interrogation. Really spices up the game and makes it insanely more hard. My normal record is around 150, yet i can hardly get past 35 on intense mode!

  5. Arcradire-avatar

    Arcradire

Not fun and I can't even see the answer choices on the right because the screen is zoomed all the way in on my phone (I use Samsung S20 FE) Edit: The issue has indeed been fixed like you said so thank you for that. The experience was much more enjoyable this time :)

  6. Tony Legato-avatar

It was OK, pretty fun the first time around but when I chose the Buddhist belief it said "she admitted to following Buddhism, a dangerous and heathen belief." and when I chose Christianity "He admitted to following Christianity, an approved belief" none "He said to have followed no religion, which is suspicious and unlikely." Uhm... Okay?? That's messed up, the rest of the game was pretty fun, but that kinda ruined it for me. Might delete just because of that

A game about quick lies and hard memorization. The story itself gets old after a while but the core gameplay keeps you coming back. Ads are not intrusive and completely optional. Very fun!

  8. Timmy Davis-avatar

Indefinite is a game that's easy to play, but very difficult to master. I don't see that as a downside, as it's a good way to help keep your story straight when you're writing one.

This is probably the best game I've ever played. It's fast, it's hard, and it's one how a great way to get your mind off stressful days and tough situations. I've been playing it for weeks now and I really felt the need to write this review.

I adore this game! I most enjoy the reports at the end. The fast pacing of the questions keeps my brain on its toes hehe
