I have been in the Building business for 43 years and have seen my share of products that are so called the next best tool out there. Walabot by far is the real deal, easy to use and I like the fact that I can actually see the full width of the stud and don't have to guess were the center is. It may seem expensive but the time it saves is worth it.

I am a contractor and have tried too many stud finders in my career only to find that they Ultimately don't really work. Until I found the Walabot. This product is excellent. It not only shows you exactly where studs are but accurately and as a bonus on drywall it tells you if the stud is wood or metal as well. It also detects wires and pipes. Since finding the Walabot I brag about it to all my customers. This is an exceptional product that I recommend very highly!

I used it the day after I received it to hang a tv in my wife's sewing room. Worked exactly as advertised. It worked so well I'm going to through away the three other stud finders I have (never worked right). I will always recommend Walabot DIY to anyone who is asking for a stud finder.

My brother in law got this for me after I described it to him. We had discussed the issues in finding studs in their office building which has had walls and doors moved and added for years. I was using an older style stud finder which would give false readings, and sometimes miss a stud that had a gap between it and the gypsum board. The Walabot proved to be much more accurate, was great at locating wires and plumbing. In its biggest challenge I tried to find studs in a room that had lead shielding under the gypsum board. The old stud finder was stymied and couldn't find anything. The Walabot had no issues in finding them. I was surprised! Reading another review I agree that there is something confusing with the software. It seems like getting to the calibration process is a little confusing, and you need to hit one more button than you realize to get the calibration to actually start. Once I realized that I've been very pleased with the results. It's next job is to put a cat door in an exterior wall while not hitting a wire to a nearby outlet.

I have used stud finders prior to purchasing this device and often found the location to off or in error in some way. Walabot seems more precise and not only locates studs, but also pipes and wires, helping me to stay away from items I do not wish to drive a nail or screw into. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that I sometimes find the precision to be off for some situations. I'm not really sure why yet, but overall it works as described.

Would be 5 stars but the number of nag screens and distractions lost you TWO stars. I wanted a good stud finder. What I got was a stream of ads between scanning for studs. If I had known, I might not have bought this product

I purchased the Walabot with some reservations. I am so glad that I did. The product works great. The download of the app worked correctly the first time, as well as the updates to the app. I have used this item at least a dozen times and it has never let me down. The wall calibration works well, and the product finds the center of the stud as well as electrical and water lines. I will continue to use this. The only drawback is there needs to be a way to power the unit separate from your phone. Really drains the phone's battery. When that upgrade is available I will be purchasing that one as well. Very impressed with this product.

I have used this unit on many occasions since it arrived, it gives clear precise details of what's behind the plaster/plasterboard. To date I have not drilled or screwed any cables or pipes a great investment for handyman and tradesman alike.

I have used the Walabot since the beginning. I own the original and there is nothing like it for finding studs and wires/pipes in walls. This is the best tool for post construction stud finding.

Easy. What more can I say. Saved me lots of work, without walabot I think I'd have had to replace several waterpipes, wiring and located solid wooden beams that I can screw into.
