If your phone tracking is enabled, the service will automatically show the weather data and warnings for your location in Finland. You can save your favourite location in the service. Will it rain an hour from now? You can easily check the service for the probability of rain and the rainfall forecast. Simply Excellent. All the information (weather, rain, radar) neatly on one page; the UI is in English. The precipitation timeline is awesome idea for a quick overview of the precipitation.

I have used and loved this app. The satellite loading issues have been fixed. But lately I have noticed that the forecast differs dramatically from the fmi.fi website info, and in favour of the site not the app. Are they not based on same weather data, coming from the same source? Annoying!

Forecast is pretty accurate and the app is also pretty good. But the widgets are both stuck on 'Loading weather data...' after a reboot, also they sometimes just randomly freeze from updating their data. Would be my goto weather app in Finland if the widgets would work properly.

The widget is very unreliable and often just stops updating data. The data is useful and nicely presented but I don't want to have to reinstall the widget every week or so.

Works great apart from the widget (both of them) which has tendency to stop updating intermittently. The only way to make the widget work again is to remove and re-add it. I have to keep doing this approx. once a week, sometimes even more frequently. If the widgets worked without issues I would have given this five stars. (Huawei P20 Pro, Android v9)

Convenient view in app that combines daily and hourly weather. I wish the hourly/daily weather widget could be resized from 3x2 to 3x1. The detailed info (dew point etc.) in it should be optional and hidable by resizing, since it clutters up the screen. The other (1x2) widget could also use a graphic design overhaul; unnecessarily big with small text and a bunch of empty space. But if other reviews are still accurate in that the widget doesn't always update, that should be a fixing priority.

Finally I gave up and removed the widget. I found no way to make it work reliable. My personal achievement is to have the widget working for around a week. The longest period of working I've ever seen. The only way to make it work after it get stopped is to uninstall and reinstall the app and the widget. The FMI itself is amazing. Excellent forecasts! And the app *without* the widget is also good.
