It's ok. My main gripe, is that the videos play only when they seemingly feel like it. Only app I've had, that acts like this. One day you press play and voila, video plays. The next day, not so much. Been doing it for ages, so I have zero confidence in whoever is in charge, that it will actually be fixed. Oh yeah, search option is beyond broken. Edit: Uninstalled, because it wouldn't recognize my sign in. Reinstalled, and it won't go beyond the "what's new" section. Hard to believe.

The new version of the app is absolutely terrible. I used to love using the IGN app to search for news or guides for specific games, etc and it was always so useful. Now, after they updated to this new UI and setup, there's literally no search option whatsoever in the app & you can't access the game guides anymore either. Uninstalled and won't be using it anymore until they decide to add blatantly obvious features back in like the ability to search for game specific content.

I used to use the website till I found the app. Then the app get an update and the main feature I used, the guides, are gone. Only news and videos are on this app. There isn't a search function. I have to go back to the website. Which is fine for the most part, but I use this on my phone and the ads, mainly the one that's on the bottom tends to block the table of content menus. Please go back to the original app or have a wiki ign app. Just for guides.

Signed in on my account, still can't comment through app, desktop only. At least there's a bookmark feature, I guess...Not a fan of the color scheme, wish there was dark mode. I'm less inclined to use the app as I get ready for bed... Update: can finally share articles from the app! The above still applies, but I'll augment 1 star for progress

Ign is one of the biggest entertainment sites, why does their app have so many problems that never get fixed?? Just scrolling through the articles is an issue, with hitching and jumping around. I'm constantly getting signed out, even when I'm signed in there's a good chance I won't be able to comment with the comment box telling me I'm not signed in. It's a mess

Stop auto playing videos in articles with sound on FFS! The app has got significantly worse with the latest updates. Go out of an article and it sends you back to the beginning of your scrolling. No review scores in the app now either among the issues.... Not sure who lead QA on this app but it would never ever have been released.

It has been months since I have been able to leave a comment on articles using the app. It constantly says 'sign up to post' but I'm logged in already... It's mind boggling how awful the support is for this app. Literally nothing is addressed or changed

Wow. Can't log in cause the app doesn't like the format of my password. I can log in fine on the site. So, I have to change my password in order to use the app. Why? I get it if you're creating a new account, but for logging in - it's truly crazy.

There is no longer search functionality to find the game you are looking for guides for. It's basically a glorified news outlet now. Stay away from the app until the developer gets their head out of their backside and adds the old functionality back.

Ever since the latest update this app has been all but useless. There's no search function anymore so unless what you're looking for happens to be posted in the last few minutes before you're looking you might as well just Google the article. It's like they're trying to get people to stop using their app.
