/n/nIntermittent fasting is an eating pattern where you cycle between periods of eating and fasting. It does not say anything about which foods to eat, but rather when you should eat them. /n/nThere are several different intermittent fasting methods, all of which split the day or week into eating periods and fasting periods. Most people already "fast" every day, while they sleep. Intermittent fasting can be as simple as extending that fast a little longer. You can do this by skipping breakfast, eating your first meal at noon and your last meal at 8 pm./n/nThen you're technically fasting for 16 hours every day, and restricting your eating to an 8-hour eating window. This is the most popular form of intermittent fasting, known as the 16/8 method./n/nDespite what you may think, intermittent fasting is actually fairly easy to do. Many people report feeling better and having more energy during a fast./n/nHunger is usually not that big of an issue, although it can be a problem in the beginning, while your body is getting used to not eating for extended periods of time./n/nNo food is allowed during the fasting period, but you can drink water, coffee, tea and other non-caloric beverages./n/nSome forms of intermittent fasting allow small amounts of low-calorie foods during the fasting period./n/nTaking supplements is generally allowed while fasting, as long as there are no calories in them./n/n
/n/nThis app iFasting also called as inter fasting app, intermittent fasting app make fasting activities more manageable. With iFasting you can easily monitor the progress of your fasting by day, week and even month. Love this simple fast tracking app. I was looking for an app that was an easy way to time and log my fast days. Optionally you can manually track weight and weight goals, There are a lot of apps out there that are probably very good, but are more geared towards keeping you on track with a diet plan and require you to answer a lot of upfront questions. Improvement item: widget for the timer. @Scott Sealey: You can make 17:7. Edit for custom time & type over any of the existing numbers.

Great app for intermitant fasting. I have had some days where it doesn't calculate hours correctly.

Wish it would track the timed eating instead of length of fast as my time-frames vary day to day.

I really like how it's a simple lay out. No pop ups of adds to watch, it is free, doesn't prompt you to subscribe to pay anything. It doesn't have a feature to connect to a fit bit or any exercise apps which works for me. Switch "kb" to "lb" to track ur weight go to "stats" then click on the settings picture in upper right corner.👍😊☮️

Great app to track fasts and remind faster of what's happening while you fast. Easy to edit and choose the hours that fit to your tastes.

Best fasting app so far. I've left two others behind due to them becoming slow and glitchy (Vora, Zero) after endless updates that add too much. This app is simple, user friendly, and doesn't bombard you with required clicks to end/start a fast.

Very nice IF app! Especially like the weight/fasting overlay chart. Good to have dark mode. Also love the affordable 1 time purchase option. Suggest to make the height unit configurable to inches to calculate the bmi, but I don't really use that feature anyway.

Love it. Reminds me when to do fluid intake. I can change my fast if i dont stay on it and i can change my water intake. Love it. Easy to comprehend

Have just used a week but like it so far. I like that you can modify schedules to when you're actually fasting and not just giving you a countdown and a rigid schedule. Only thing I think that would make it better is for the weight feature to also show a graph or timeline so you can actually see your progress on a weekly and monthly basis.
