    Great effort from a Bulgarian company. Excellent customer service. I would like to be able to decide which card should be used as tap&pay via the phone, including external to iCard cards just like the Curve app. Better cash-back program would also make me use more often the app for payments

    I'm wondering if iCard can set the option for changing the currency of primary account without closing the whole accounts. Going through the identification process for the second time is absolutely time-consuming and frustrating for all of your clients. So, if someone mistakenly chose a currency that doesn't like to work with, there should be some arrangments for changing the currency of primary account without starting the opening & identification processes again. Honestly, I'm completely satisfied with all of the options iCard has equipped me with. Everything is well organized with you guys and try to be better. Thanks :-)

    Edit: after registering, I'm very disappointed with the support. It doesn't answer my questions and request from me me documents, containing personal data without clear reasons. These are not signs of a trustworthy service. Edit: I received better reply from support later. Giving one more star. Will wait and see how the service. I need to see that my transactions are going flawlessly in order to build trust in the service.

    Does what it should do and it does it well. You can freeze a card anytime, you can have a real plastic card with contactless payment sent to you completely free, not sure what else I'd need

    according to their customer support it takes 1-3 working days to have a sepa transfer arrive on ur account. and u bet it is gonna take the full 3 days. absolute dealbreaker for me.

    Not very good for online shopping. If your package hits customs you need to provide printed transaction details. Unfortunately iCard app can't share a transaction in usable form (like. PDF), self-made printout will be called forged and requesting one from support takes several days and multiple mails/calls. This either slows down retrieval to up to week or force me personaly go to retreive each package (to show tranactions in app), which usually means wasted day. Please add transaction sharing.

    iCard has been a great surprise, I honestly opened my account without great expectations but its been a great jornuey. The card has never failed me, and even the little gadget is fun. I had the chance to pay on several businesses in Portugal and it works great. The app is simple and intuitive and I also love the NFC widget.     Smart and very easy to use app. Every service works as they promise. You have total control over all of your money, cards and accounts in real time. Also respect for the customer service and the security stuff behind it. I have lost my phone last year and had to get a new one with a new number and they sorted out every issue in 48 hours and 2 or 3 emails. While my traditional bank literally locked me away from my own money and online banking and had to walk in personally in opening times.

One thing that would be great to be addressed is working on rooted devices as pointed by other commenters since everybody should have the freedom of control over their own device but I haven't had any significant problems with the app on other devices for 2-3 years now.

    Does not work on rooted devices. A rooted device is not a "compromised" device. My device, my security, my responsibility, my rules. I don't care to hear your opinion about my device being 'compromised'. The only correct solution is forcing rooted device users to accept an agreement indemnifying iCard of data security responsibility.

    There is no germany IBAN to top up my account, it's not good to pay international wire transfer for every time of charging my account. You should have IBAN for all European countries. Anyway your service is great and completely satisfying.

    Supports only Apple pay and not Google pay. Also FX spread is 6.2%, thus 3.1% currency commission. Fees on everything except euro EU POS and EUR EU SEPA inbound. Technically FX spread may not be called a "charge", but is effectively the same.

    It was a great app. However, I uninstalled it due to some news articles, mentioning one if their founders being suspected of money wandering and having his bank in Malta closed by authorities. This doesn't mean that iCard is involved but they didn't say anything on the topic and silently editted their website to remove that person's name from there. Which raised some red lights in my head. Be careful with them guys, although it was indeed an awesome app and service.

    Terrible. The migration from LEOPAY is horrible. Seek an alternative. N26 or Revolut...there are many online banks out there now. LEOPAY WAS GOOD. But iCard is horrific!

I made an account for my wife and starting to send her money. She is happy and I'm happy, no fees.     So far , so good ! A way better than my others accounts from Lloyds and Halifax . I have the ability to do what I prefer with my wallet and my money! I travel a lot so , I've been use this card and account on many different places for many different cases , so far keep reminding me that I'm in 21th century! No rush , no stress , no problems!     BEWARE! iCard can terminate your account without prior notice, this is their professionalism. One morning you wake up and try to login to your account and voilà you can't! Because they terminated your account according to their so called strict rules. But this is not over, you can't play with EU citizens like that, I'll take further actions as soon as I return home to Bulgaria. God! What an awful service!

    The first app which really works. The information they need for full verification is normal for a bank organisation and the process of verification is really quick. Plus, unlike banks, they work 24/7. I was verified by operator at 1:00 AM. If you want to pay you need to upload funds in your account in the app. I think the other apps don't work because they try to copy your card and use its data for payments. The support is really quick.

    I like the app, I like the bank, it is still a lot to do to reach the fin-tech institutions in western Europe, but its step in the right direction! I had some feedback and the 1st.-level-support staff took it and hope they forwarded it to their bosses who actually can take the decisions and make a difference! I still give 5 stars because until now this is the best solution for Bulgaria! I can compare it to the German apps, because I was living there for the last 9 years! Cheers!

    This is the best app out there. You get nfc payment, nfc wearable, multiple currency account with debit cards attached, sent to you free , e-gift cards that you can actually use to tap and pay within the app., best customer care , which answer to you in a matter of minutes, and no monthly fee!!!!!. iCard is far better than Revolut where I hold an account for 29.99 a month.!!!!!. For what do I have to pay?. no nfc payment , try their customer care, answer after days, blocked account.

    I've just received an email that they will start charging me 15eur/month. I've deleted this app 6 months ago, don't have the app and the phone anymore, there is no way to log on their site as well. Absolutely mind blowing closed loop designed to rob you. Now, I found a phone that I can install their app l, there is now way to delete, neither disable the account. So, I'm stuck at paying 15 eur per month, nice...

    I wasn't able to add money to the account, I can't add a card..., I can't see numbers of virtual cards to use them... Almost everything is "under review"... Verification SMS code comes after 20-25 sec, but time allowed to enter the code is 30 sec, hard to check SMS and come back to the app and enter the code within 5-10 sec. Not usable service is this... :-( If everything worked normally, it would be a great service and when it improves I will change the rating.

    The application collects all the personal information then could not complete the registration - an error occurs. Tried a few times, with different emails (as the previously used are already in the database and are "burned "). The chat an the email buttons are dead. And those people expect me to TRUST THEM MY MONEY?? This is 100% scam.

    Love it! It's now my main card and account. An amazing idea and I'm really impressed by the set of features. iCard Visa is excllent especially when travelling. The ability to freeze my online payments makes me feel much better. Absolutely life saver. I was very suppressed how fast was verified my account and lifted up my payment limits. Great service and really good customer support. The support chat in the app are 24/7 online and really helps when needed.

    I can't even connect to their video identification, it keeps on showing "Connection problem”. iCard has already charged me £2 and the customer service said you can only get back the money after you verify your account. I followed their instructions, sent the required documents and photos to them. End up, they still ask me to do the video identification using the worst app that can't reach them. The worst app experience ever. Update: iCard has resolved the issue.

    Was a great app as i could reveal the card numbers all the time, now they have changed the app and now u cant use or reveal card numbers without verifying, I dont have a uk passport so ive lost the money i had. So if u dont have a uk passport dont go near this anymore.. ITs a complete downer.. I loved this app, i didnt abuse it but i always needed a way to verify apps using valid vcards with loaded money on them.. I even received the visa card but again i cant use it... Completely useless app now... I cant afford to buy a passport and it did what i needed as i always used it for very small transactions... complete fail from A* please ICARD put it back to it was.

    I am shocked how the application works well, I thought it was another ordinary small application and it turned out to be very cool and even probably one of the better ones I've seen. Support works quickly and efficiently, I got the answer after a few seconds. At the moment I highly recommend!

    I have to write a review, this Icard app was beyond bad, time consuming, no real chat, days to hear back, then a glitch, a small one takes another email and the email takes days of wait , the worst Is the video to verify my self was completely intrusive and not needed, every time I thought I was finished setting up this awful service "I card" I was not, a tiny glitch takes 5 days to hear back , 3 weeks went by, hours wasted, aggravating process , i gave enough chances they didn't correct them .

    I saw it, installed the app, like the idea. As a revolut I was ready to switch just because I cam use my phone to pay, something Revolut doesn't support yet. But to charge me fees to fund my own account thats where you lost me. If you do it like Revolut to fund your account for free with card, you will kill it.

    I was forced to upgrade from LeoPay to iCard and it is now asking me to re-verify my identity, but only accepting a passport instead of a national card like I used in LeoPay. It also tells me that I will be charged 15 eur/month if I fail to verify my Id. I want to terminate my account but there is no such option anywhere in the app. I no longer want to use a service that brings its customers to a corner and then threatening to charge them a monthly fee if they do not comply.

    They charge a % of whatever you top up into your account when that charge goes it will be the best app on the market they give you two virtual cards and one physical a physical card can be added for £1 which is so cheap compared to other apps very disappointed theres a top up fee hopefully they will get rid of that fee soon

    It is stupid that you can only verify your identity with a passport, that is not fair for they that have never had a passport ever as they haven't gone out of the UK so have never had a passport. So because I don't have a passport l can't use my card anymore, so what is the point of the icard?

    So far it is not too good. I'm waiting for so long to get verified that it's just simply outrageous. When you ask customer to prepare the documentation for verification, please do so by taking a picture of a proof of address as well to finalize it in one go. I've set up my account on early Friday's afternoon. It's late Tuesday morning and I still cannot use the funds on my account. The initial experience is not good at all.

    It does work but, to verify your card they need to take €1. Then when I went to inseret €6 to try it out they locked my account. And if to unlock my account I have to be in a video call and show them my bank transactions, mobile bills, eletricity bills ettc. Please don't use this app.

    I cant believe how this app wastes my time. I got a new phone number and I cant even access my account even with the RIGHT password, and even when I tried to change my password again. I tried getting in contact with them but it feels like I'm taking to a wall as I've only gotten so far to talk with their robot. If you need fast and good service, this isnt the one chief.

    They have started charging me 15 EUR/Month for not verifying my identity in time, i only deposited 100EUR onto the account in the first place. I use the app occasionally as it near impossible to actually tap and pay, most times does not work and looking silly in front of the cashier. Cannot withdraw funds without verification either just a way for them to take all the money on the account for "Money laundering" reasons. I can understand blocking the funds, but to outright try to take my money for themselves is ridiculous. 1 payment of 100 EUR and a couple of Costa coffee payments is not money laundering or a financial crime! Sending the first and single reminder email 2 days before charging them with no app notification also greatly add to iCards chances of users not meeting the timeframe. Almost is though they're doing it on purpose to take users money.

But it will be more reasonable when your customers are signing in with username and password and also send money to some Africa countries then it will become the best app ever.     I downloaded the app after I saw that I can have a free virtual debit card without fees. I needed to make an online purchase for ~800€. But when trying to register there is a notice that says maximum limit is 250€, which is useless for me.

    Only one device is supported. After I found tthis I requested account termination and money back. It was refused They blame it on security. Somehow Revolut and GooglePay work fine on both of my devices... My money are still with them. I asked support for a refund by phone and by email. No refund yet

    Worst service ever...Help center is useless, advised me to change new phone to something older because they can't activate account... Despite that they already tooked funds from card without activation. You can add funds from your card, but if you want to transfer them back - you can't. Just another bulgarian scam.

    iCard decided to not allow US residents to be able to use their platform and sent notice to customers that their accounts would be closed within 4 days of the notice. Even though this is a neat idea, execution of the concept was really poor, including the linkages of debit and credit cards, as well no access to do bank transfers using ABA ACH. I'll wait for TransferWise or another smart FinTech company to figure this kind of product out correctly. iCard AD makes reference to a non-published customer acceptance policy, which there is no reference to either either their FAQs, Terms & Conditions, or any other place where new prospective customers can investigate this service. If you are in the EEA, then you might want to investigate other products for currency transfers and virtual credit cards.

    I start feeling unconfortable and not safe. I did the interview took the documents didn't want to answer any of my questions pretending they dont have time. I did it Friday told me takes 1 business day so that Monday would be ready. I am writting this Thursday early morning. I am about to change my documents as I am affraid is a Fraud.     If you are an expat in Bulgaria, that's very easy to open an account with your passport and then get your salary in it, pay service bills on your rented place directly from the app, shop groceries with the NCF and wire money home. I would like to see Bitcoin added, much like it is with Revolut.

    Excellent mobile bank but charging a fee to top up from a credit card and a fee to withdraw from an Atm (at least an initial amount might be free) is not encouraging and this is a huge setback for iCard.

    Appalling customer services. I sent queries about the security and storage of data in iCard to their support team - more than 4 days passed and aside from the confirmation email no reply. I spoke to them by phone - an outsourced Bulgarian call centre, poor communication skills who don't understand basic questions. I'm cancelling my account, I don't trust this company with my personal data.

    Complete waste of time: 1. Customer service does not listen to you. 2.They do not let you send money to the account via bank transfer before you have verified and for verification you need video call (not possible to simply send documents they need). Video call asks for: good light and silence, being alone in the space. If you just need to use a virtual card while your own bank simply does not provide virtual cards, it is too time consuming.

    BEWARE! Waited 5 days to verify COMPLETE and valid documents. Then, AFTER 5 DAYS, they asked me to provide my money transfer list from bank (!), SO THEY SEE HOW MUCH MONEY YOU HAVE AND YOUR MONEY TRANSFER LIST (INCOMING/OUTGOING). A complete SCAM.
