Hue Switcher is a third party application designed to enable fun, advanced, and smart control of your Philips Hue Bridge Lighting System. Hue Switcher is natively designed for Philips Hue Bridges and Accessories using the Philips Hue API but does not yet support Bluetooth control. WARNING:Hue Switcher contains many dynamic lighting effects! Some Lavas* contain rapid bursts of light, please use at your own risk! See Disclaimer below. Additional languages will be added in the future! :) Manage Light Groups: • Lava Lamp: Choose from 40+ custom designed Lava Scenes or Music Effects or create your own! • Auto Color Generator allows you to create and place a pattern of colors onto any size Light Group. • Create, Delete, Retrieve and Rename Light Groups on your Philips Hue Bridge. • Lights can be assigned to more than one Light Group. Accessory Programming: • Create trigger events using many different options for Hue accessories such as the Hue Tap, Dimmer Switch, and Motion Sensor. Scenes: • Create Scenes with unique settings for every Light in the specified Light Group. • Save Scenes to sliding bars that can be assigned to different Rooms in your home. • Scenes are automatically saved to your Philips Hue Bridge using the current Light settings - Hue Bridge snapshots exactly what your lights look like upon creation to retrieve later • Set Transition Times (0.2 seconds - 60 minutes) to gradually fade lights on or off. Rooms: • Create Rooms to house different collections of scene sliders. • Dimmer switches each control a unique Scene saved to your Philips Hue Bridge. • NOTE: Hue Switcher Rooms are not related at all to the Philips Hue API Rooms. Does not connect to bulbs with the app. Get the phillips bulbs and wiz app.Controls as many as you have at once and has so many preset color flow options. Uses your own wifi. You can even set wakeup and sleep modes. Dont waste your time with these.

Cannot figure it out - The app doesn't seem intuitive, and I don't understand how to operate it. I went to the developer's website but it only seems to have a demonstration. A walk through may cure this issue.

One of the most difficult and lacking common sense apps I have ever used. It's like learning a whole new operating system with no consistency. You have to remember how you found something because none of the programmers designed the app in a way that common sense would point you in the right direction. For example, if you want to turn off a scene, to multiple lights, enjoy the journey you are about to go on. I've had app almst a year and spend 10 minutes searching how to turn features off.

It's not connecting to my IP address. I'm not able to change colors I did not receive a remote with the light bulb. It does connect via Bluetooth for speaker but I have flashing colors instead of being able to set a specific color.

Fun, but somewhat confusing app. I love being able to set my lights into colorful motion & I really like being able to sync the color patterns, or have them all doing their own thing. I haven't gotten too much further than being able to set my lights into motion, because everything else is too confusing. Maybe one day I'll take the time to learn, but until then, I'll just enjoy my waterfall of colors!

This app is by far the best option for smooth color transitions during lava lamp mode that I have come across. Recently I was having issues connecting to the hue bridge with this app during the autodetection, I emailed the devs and they were quick to respond with advice on how to correct the problem. I eventually was able to connect the phones to the app by doing manual IP entry. It is slightly inconvenient to sync this way but it is a worthwhile price to pay for the quality of this app.

App worked perfectly for about a month, now the lava's stop after awhile. Additionally it'd be better if it could be used from two devices because as soon as you leave home with your phone, the lava stops so basically you have to run the app on a dedicated android device that's always at home. Fix these problems and I'll be back to upgrade app to 5 stars.

Works perfectly! I love how easy it is to connect, and I didn't expect it to work at first, but it really does, and you can even make your own scene!

Does not run in background? Great app, works and has good effect. Does not sync with Spotify but instead uses the microphone on phone to listen then adjusts lights to sound. Big issue I had was that when you select your 'lava' otherwise known as Scene, and you press the home button on your phone to do other things or sit back and watch movie, the lights just Pause Colour? I dont want this to be open on my screen all the time to use the effects. Honor 9 Lite - latest Android software.
