Use your heart rate monitor as a power meter and connect any exercise bike to indoor cycling apps such as Zwift. Use HR2VP as a bike computer, record GPS route and upload online to Strava. An external Bluetooth Smart (or ANT+ with compatible phone) heart rate monitor is required. Generally speaking, a chest strap will be the best for monitoring heart rate, accuracy will be improved compared to built-in optical sensors from watches, measuring on the wrist.
New: You can now use BLE cadence sensors together with HR2VP!

I was very frustrated at first after noticing that the Watts value kept dropping to 0Watts, despite an elevated heart rate, I got in contact with the developers and they were able to help me set it up well. Note for future users, if you are having a 0Watts issue, it might help to lower the minimum heart rate and the maximum heart rate. I dropped mine from 65 to 60. And my max from 170 to 160, and it made a huge difference.

Thie idea behind this application is great but the execution is less so. It's a pain to get it configured to have it five any sensible data. And even after that, getting it started property is often a pain. Also, I don't know what sophisticated algorithm is behind it but the output too often makes no sense. The only variable is heart rate so how can, keeping the heart rate identical, the wattage jump between 170W and 240W from minute to minute? Unfortunate because I really liked the idea of this

Should have gone with the month payment instead of buying outright. Not worth the money. Could never get it working close to my actual power output.

I have wahoo HR tickr ant connected, and then bluetooth to zwift via laptop. When working, all is great. However, randomly zwift would show no signal is being received, but still mark as connected; app would still function on phone. I have to restart app and disconnect and reconnect on zwift. Really annoying when you are just in the middle of a push. Worst case I've had it disconnect 6 times in a 40min ride...

Took a few stressful days of teething problems to get up and zwifting using HR2VP on my phone and zwift on my tablet. I would randomly lose signal while riding and had to completely disconnect from hr2vp to get going again. I solved the problem by turning off mobile data and WiFi on my phone once connected to hr2vp. The app still transmitted data to zwift via Bluetooth even without those connections. Gregory has been very helpful.

Subscribed to this from the Two Wheel Cruise review. However no matter what settings i have it will not show or connect via Power in zwift. I have tried my Wahoo heart rate, my LIVLOV V6 and all show heart rate but no Watt output. So, its kinda failed for me. tried it with my Samsung S20

Awesome, now I can "run" on Zwift using my elliptical. Oh, thanks to the Two Wheel Cruise YouTube channel. That's where I learned about this app.

Starts off fine then loses connection and heart remains same for rest of the activity. Today did two activities on Zwift, both occasions 5 minutes in same problem... Update: with the fantastic help from Gregory, I was able to resolve the problem using an Ant+ dongle and a bridge. Now works a treat!

Awesome app, I'm able to zwift on a spin bike during lockdown. A few teething problems at first but Gregory was very helpful.

Just started using this app with my HR monitor on my indoor spin bike. Quite impressed with it as a cost effective way of measuring power generated, but have some questions as I'm no expert: 1. What is meant by the Zones and the colour coding? 2. What is the % figure telling me? 3. What do the food icons mean? How can I use them in my workouts? I've now got to figure out how to use the .Fit files ;-) Update: Managed to upload Fit files to Strava. Would be great if distance was recorded in Miles as that is what I measure with my Cateye computer.
