Seems now Honeywell have fixed some bugs so star rating increased to 4/5. EvoHome overdue app update. App linked to GoogleHome use to be excellent, but over the last few months has become increasingly difficult to connect using the current version. Lots of people reporting the same issues by Honeywell international is slow and not responding to customers issues. If this poor quality level of service and software maintenance continues will be losing my support as I will be going elsewhere.

Edit: The problems are solved and the app is working great. Very frequently I have to enter the user and password because it loses them. I have to close the app from tasks because it is freezing in loading. It could be more settings and informations, like knowing if the heating is running or not.

This app is diabolical for such an expensive smart system, UI, login issues, bugs when changing schedules. The list goes on. It needs work, seems as if the development on this is not even an ongoing importance, will note this for future Honeywell purchases and might have been better off Nest or Hive.

Awful. The entire system just doesn't work. It tells me the temperature is below the target, yet no radiators are switching on. The schedule changes and resets of its own accord The app itself is clunky and unintuitive. I changed from Nest and absolutely regret having done so.
Spanner Bracket
The app 'works' but it is quicker to just go and change the temperature manually at your radiator. Been using for many years now, there have been no updates that improve ui or performance. Brand and naming is just a complete confusing mess. Behaviour over the years suggest Honeywell are aware of this and either: don't care about customers of these products, are technically in-capable of improving things or don't see a future in this technology.

New: Worked this morning first time so gone up to 2 stars. Let's see what happens and if this is permanent I may give it three stars. Original: Stopped working. I'm freezing half the time and as others have said you keep getting logged out or it loses connection with the controls and doesn't change the temp when it says.

They seem to update the app at midnight, so you can't control your heating once your inbed. I'd never have spent the best part of £1k on this system and wish I'd gone for another system. I could moan all day about the pitfalls of this system an app, but not being able to control your heating after midnight cause the app crashes, but works perfectly fine when you wake up the next morning, annoys me more than anything else.
Chris Malpas
The app has stopped working! Just get a blank screen then back to login, can still use the web-browser but I have to log in every time on that. Not impressed, the evohome system is not exactly cheap either! I expect better than dodgy apps/updates for my money

App doesn't always control settings at correct time. Maybe app, maybe device but there is a problem for sure. (For instance my living room is set now to be 20.5C but it displays as 'target temp 15C').
Walter Pelissero
Buggy as hell. Takes ages to reconnect and then the view is not even up to date with the base station. You have no visual feedback to know that. Sometimes it insists, even after several refreshes, showing some random target temperature that is not the one on the base station. Not all the functionality of the base station is replicated on the app. Why? Recently I had to reenter my credentials. Come on! Honeywell had better rewrite this app entirely.
