The shows and movies on this platform are fine, but this app needs a lot of work for it to be decent. Theres no next episode option and it doesn't sync with other devices. It also doesn't show the option for more episodes so you have to manually type the show and find the episode. It doesn't hide the bar after a few seconds of playing, you have to press on the screen. Unlike another streaming platform with the red N, this is not user friendly at all.

They have a lot of great content but the app is not working well anymore. A lot of the time it just sits there with the three dots going from left to right and not downloading the movies and when I finally get on a movie if I'm lucky enough for that to happen, if I rewind, a lot of the time something gets screwed up and the movie won't play. Also the app crashes a lot. It's the most expensive movie app. My Netflix app is working well and I think my Amazon Prime app is working well also.

Horribly inconvenient. I'm trying to resubscribe, I'd like to pay for the ad option but it's only giving me the ad free option. Now it's not even an option on my subscription list. So I can't have HBO at all. These issues need to be fixed. The help center was exceptionally rude as well. Would not recommend, which stinks, because HBO has alot of shows I want to watch. Please fix.

When it works, the app is great. However, most of the time when launching the app I get an error message and asked to restart the app. Restarting the app does nothing, clearing the cache does nothing, uninstall/reinstall does nothing. The service itself it pretty good. Fast forward and rewind are bad, but the content itself is great.

HBO is having network issues and the app is unable to handle it gracefully. We were watching a show in Nowregian. Then, a network problem happens. We get the three dots. Then the action resumes without subtitles! I tried to stop it but it seems that the app was busy with the network because my remote button presses took like 10 seconds to register. Bravo HBO! You're the best!

Though the content is OK, it does me no good because I cannot open the app on my phone or on my Samsung and LG tvs. I constantly get error messages that tell me to restart the application, but nothing happens when I do restart it. The same error message shows up. I have verified the internet connection on all devices and still the apps do not work . I see no point in paying a monthly subscription for a product that is essentially unusable.

Still going through the log in loop when signing in through a provider. I'll re-install this app when there is an actual update. Ongoing issue for several weeks. When this issue is resolved, please notate the fix in the update notes. I don't want to receive a message to contact support, I know I'm not the only one experiencing this issue.

This app sucks. It said it was part of my mobile plan, it worked once then tried to get on again it made me change my password. It still did not recognize anything about my account with att. As much as I'm paying for my mobile service, this app ranks as one of the worse that I have on my phone. I say let the Downloader beware about this app taking up space. Bottom line is that they want you to pay again for a service they said is included. Not impressed at all. Keep your junk.

It is a really good streaming service. They have amazing shows and movies. The only problems I have are that wen you exit the app, it loses connection and you will have to close the app before reentering. The other is that when it's on mobile, you can't flip the phone and have the show flip, too, like Hulu and Disney+.

Used to love the app but now I can't even use it!!! Everytime I open the app it brings me to a page that says "oops something went wrong. Please restart the hbo max app" I go and that and it brings me to the same page. The only way I can get it to work is to go to the all settings and clear storage. I have to do this every time I want to use the app
